I caved and ordered Our Place's 13-piece bundle with a £175 saving– here's my verdict

Head of shopping Zoe puts Our Place's viral pans and pots to the test, including the hero Always Pan, to see if they're actually worth the hype… I'm not sure when exactly my TikTok feed turned into a non-stop reel of eggs gliding across pastel-coloured frying pans, but I'll admit, I was probably the easiest person on the app to convince into joining the Our Place pan club. Minimalist, non-stick, dishwasher-friendly and very chic, I'd never wanted a pan to match my dish towel before, but here we are. The other week, I caved and upgraded my mismatched and very scratched pans to the ful l Our Place Cookware Set – the 13-piece one, in the sage green colourway. Though it's an initial spend of £295, the set gives a £175 saving, and I was definitely in the market for a full pan and pot upgrade. Aesthetics aside, which I knew would be bang on the money, I was still just a little bit sceptical. Could a 'pretty' pan set with so much hype actually hold up to daily cooking and washing? Spoiler: yes. Here's why… Are Our Place pans worth the money? The Cookwear set, which works on all stovetops (yes, even induction) includes the brand's bestselling models and accessories: full-sized and mini versions of both the Always Pan 2.0 and the Perfect Pot, each crafted with non-toxic Thermakind™ ceramic non-stick and complete with modular steam-release lids. You'll also get a stackable steamer basket and colander, and four nesting beechwood utensils (spatulas and spoons). What I didn't expect was how many of my old, clunky pots now lie completely unused. I haven't touched my battered colander or that old cast iron I thought I needed since the Always Pan came into my life. Eggs don't cling. Pancakes flip like I made a chef-worthy batter. Sticky sauces wipe off with a sponge, if that. Even thicker liquids drip right off it, leaving next to no residue. Zoe's verdict I've now been cooking with the set daily for over a week – curries, pastas, sauces and poached eggs – and the non-stick is still pristine. No peeling, no staining, no suspicious bubbling. As someone who once bought a £100 non-stick pan that started flaking after a fortnight, this is huge. That said, you do need to treat them with a bit of respect. No metal utensils, no ultra-high heat, and hand washing is best (though they are technically dishwasher safe). Follow that, and they'll stay looking showroom-fresh. So, would I recommend the Our Place cookware set? 100%. It's not just hype, it genuinely streamlines cooking, cuts down on clean-up, and looks good doing it. Yes, the full set is an investment, but if you cook at home most nights like I do, it pays for itself quickly. TikTok, I'll let you have this win. Though I do really think the bundle is worth spending on, I appreciate it may be a little steep in price for some. If that's the case, I've heard positive things about Lakeland's 8-in-1 Only Pan, £59.99. It also comes in a sage colourway and is praised for its long-lasting non-stick coating.

'Brilliant' Ninja 8-in-1 pot that shoppers say 'does everything' is now £30 less

"It's fantastic to have just one pot that will do everything, cuts down on the amount of pots and pans I have lying around" While many people enjoy the art of cooking and learning new recipes, most don't enjoy doing the cleaning up afterwards. This is especially frustrating when multiple pots and pans are needed to make one dish and excess food refuses to come off. Well what if there was a way to tackle both of these easily and provide your home with more cupboard space? Ninja is one of the leading brands for cookware, most notably known for their air fryers, and they may just have the solution many households are looking for. Amazon has reduced the price of the highly versatile Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 PossiblePot. Dropping down from £129.99 to £99.99, this piece of cookware provides shoppers with a variety of different ways to cook without having to take out a specifically made pot or pan. Featuring Ninja's ZEROSTICK coating, this PossiblePot is easy to clean as the non-stick pot will have your meal smoothly gliding onto your plate. With its durable and long-lasting design, this must-have cookware is dishwasher and metal utensil safe, while also being scratch resistant and able to withstand high-heat cooking. The most impressive feature of this pot is that it is able to cook in eight different ways, which will make cooking and cleaning a breeze. Replacing your stock pot, roasting pan, baking dish and steamer, this pot is able to simmer, steam, roast, braise, bake, saut, sear and boil. Along with the 6.6L pot, which reviewers say is easy to lift and move around, shoppers will also get a stainless steel rack, a multifunctional utensil and a heat-tempered glass lid with an integrated strainer. Suitable for all hob types, shoppers can also register this stylish pot with Ninja to get a 10-year replacement guarantee. Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 PossiblePot £129.99 £99.99 Amazon Buy Now Product Description Alternatively, Lakeland is selling a similar product for the lower price of £59.99. The Lakeland 8-in-1 Only Pan also features a non-stick ceramic coating and is made from a durable, lightweight, cast aluminum. Along with a stainless steel steamer basket and a silicone turner, the domed lid also features an integrated utensil rest. Our Place is also selling their Perfect Pot for £135. Available in five colours to fit your kitchen aesthetic, this pot is oven safe up to 230C and is compatible with induction stoves. However, it should be noted that this pot is not dishwasher safe. Back to the Ninja PossiblePot, it currently has a 4.5 star rating from Amazon shoppers, with many amazed by the difference this pot makes to everyday cooking and cleaning. One delighted shopper said: "Love this pan. Unlike many pans it is very light to lift even though it is very strong. It has lifting handles at both sides which again makes it easy to lift. For anyone who has a problem with arthritis this pan is perfect. It is expensive, yes, but I think it is worth it." With another five-star reviewer writing: "This pot is absolutely brilliant! You can do just about everything with it. Cooks evenly- easy to clean. Just amazing." However, a few shoppers did complain about the spoon that comes with the set. One person wrote: "Excellent cooking pot. Lovely colour. Great non-stick, so I hardly use any oil . Unfortunately the spoon absorbed the cooking spices the first time it was used & is very badly discoloured." With another shopper also grumbling: "Ruined spoon on first use. Cooked a spicy dish and the spoon was badly stained. The pot is great." Despite this, a top reviewer also commented: "Do a lot of cooking and this must be my favourite bit of cookware in a long time. Really rate Ninja cookware in general but this in terms of functionality is a step above. Easy buy." While a sixth customer said: "It's fantastic to have just one pot that will do everything, cuts down on the amount of pots and pans I have lying around as I was able to 'retire' a few tattered ones when I got this one." Best-selling cookwear brand Our Place's biggest sale of the year sends shoppers into a tizzy with unmissable deals

Autumn just got a whole lot hotter in the kitchen. Our Place, Instagram's favourite cookware brand behind the viral Always Pan, has officially launched its biggest sale of the year — and it's packed with deals too good to scroll past. From now until 12 May 2025, shoppers can score up to 30 per cent off Our Place's full range of design-forward, non-toxic cookware, tableware, and appliances. These pieces are not only ridiculously pretty, they're multifunctional, cleverly engineered, and built to last, meaning your kitchen gets a glow-up that actually works hard. There's just one catch: this is the only Our Place sale of the season. Once 12 May hits, the savings are gone. No mid-year refresh, no sneaky end-of-season bargains. It's now or never (and yes, your sad frying pan agrees). Here's what to add to cart while you still can: 1. The 13-Piece Cookware Set was $945, now $625 A total kitchen reset in one genius bundle. You'll get both the full and mini versions of the Always Pan 2.0 and Perfect Pot, all complete with lids, spatulas, and steamer inserts. It's sleek, stackable, and smart enough to replace most of your current drawer clutter. 2. The 7-Piece Cookware Duo was $525, now $410 This bestselling pair — the Always Pan and Perfect Pot — is the brand's ride-or-die duo. With fast heat distribution, clever pouring spouts, and a lid that knows when to lock steam in (and let it out), these two are all you need to cook like a pro on weeknights. 3. The Large Always Pan was $295, now $250 More room, more flavour. Designed for big-batch meals and family dinners, this upsized version of the iconic Always Pan gives you space to stir, sear and sauté without the mess. Still nonstick, still gorgeous, just larger. 4. The Baker's Bundle was $325, now $275 A baker's dream, this set includes the Griddle Pan, three stackable baking dishes, and a reusable silicone mat. From crispy roast veg to Sunday banana bread, everything fits together and looks great doing it. 5. The Titanium Always Pan Pro was $335, now $300 This one's built to last and handle serious heat. With zero coatings, a titanium interior, and a triple-layer construction, it's virtually indestructible. Oh, and it's made without PFAS or other nasty toxins. 6. The Mini Perfect Pot 2.0 was $225, now $180 Cute but seriously capable, this mini pot is ideal for boiling, steaming, baking or simmering small batches. It's oven safe, induction compatible, and easy to store — perfect for everything from porridge to pasta sauce. 7. The 18-Piece Cookware + Bakeware Set was $1,270, now $825 This is the full package — literally. It combines the best of Our Place's cookware and bakeware into one epic set, including full and mini Always Pans, Perfect Pots, baking dishes, a griddle and more. Every item is made with their signature toxin-free nonstick coating and thoughtful design. Our Place Autumn Sale runs until 12 May 2025, and it's the only one happening this season.

Best homeware alternatives to shop as M&S cyber attack enters fourth day

Here's where shoppers can get their fix while the popular site is offline, including picks from Dusk, The White Company and Oliver Bonas Marks and Spencer has entered its fourth day of being unable to issue online orders due to a major cyber incident. The popular high-street retailer has faced significant problems since last Friday (26 April), with shoppers still unable to make online purchases from the website and app. The brand said in a statement: "As part of our proactive management of the incident, we have made the decision to pause taking orders via our UK & Ireland websites and apps and some M&S International-operated websites." The firm previously confirmed it had reported the incident to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). While M&S remains offline, loyal customers are left wondering where to shop for their favourite homeware staples - from stylish bedding and home décor to fancy kitchenware. So, while the website is temporarily down, I'm turning to some of my other favourite homeware brands to scratch the itch. Scroll down to reveal all the stylish homeware alternatives to browse right now. Bedding M&S is well known for its impressive bedding collections, including collaborations with designer Kelly Hoppen, offering stylish and comfortable options at great prices. But there are plenty of high-quality alternatives to explore in the meantime. Dunelm is one of my top choices for stylish bedding, with a wide selection of duvet sets and bedspreads - from pretty floral prints to classic gingham designs ideal for the warmer months. It's affordable too, with prices starting from £8. My standout pick is this reversible duvet cover with frilly detailing (£32). It's a pretty spring addition to any bedroom and its clever, reversible design allows shoppers to flip it over for a quick and easy refresh whenever the mood strikes. Another fantastic option is Dusk. Having tried many Dusk bedding over the years, I can confidently say the brand offers incredible value for money - the bedding remains just as crisp and soft as the day it came out of the packet, washing and ironing beautifully with every use. Right now, I love this neutral gingham duvet set (reduced to £32 from £75 for a double), which I recently picked up to give my bedroom a seasonal update. It's fresh, classic and effortlessly elevates my space. Cooking and dining M&S is a firm favourite for stylish kitchenware - from chic dinner sets to gorgeous glassware and handy kitchen gadgets. If you're missing your M&S kitchen fix, these brands are worth a look. If shoppers have the budget to play with, Our Place is an excellent brand worth considering. Best known for its cult-favourite Always Pan, Our Place offers beautifully designed kitchen essentials that double up as décor. Everything is thoughtfully made, with clever multi-use functions and a choice of stunning shades that would look right at home on an open shelf or dining table. I'm a serious fan of everything from the Perfect Pot to its kitchen linens in my home, so Our Place comes seriously recommended from yours truly. It's pricey but worth the money for its quality wares and gorgeous colourways. Elsewhere, H&M Home offers surprisingly chic kitchen and dining pieces at fantastic prices. Shoppers will find trendy glassware, rustic table runners, and stylish serving bowls, all with a slightly Scandi-cool edge. For instance, I've got my eye on this mango wood chopping board (£22.99), a true kitchen essential and these wooden salad servers, which look much more expensive than their £14.99 price tag suggests. Furniture For those who love M&S' blend of timeless style and quality craftsmanship, OKA is a brilliant place to check out. Known for its design-led furniture, OKA pieces are true investment buys that balance classic and contemporary perfectly. Plus, the brand is currently running a huge sale on everything from sofas to wardrobes and side tables. For anyone looking for a new sofa, Swyft Home is a fantastic option. The firm is known for its fuss-free, modular sofas, which can be delivered fast and assembled without tools. Swyft's made-to-order sofas come in a wide range of fabrics and colours, from classic neutrals to bold statement shades and its flat-pack delivery system makes it easy to navigate tricky hallways and staircases. My dream pick is the 02 Sofa Bed (£2,299) in a rich green shade. Home décor and accessories From its viral check lamp to bobbin mirrors, M&S always nails the balance between classic and contemporary home décor. Thankfully, there are lots of other cute options out there. Oliver Bonas is ideal for shoppers who love playful, bright home accessories; it's packed with quirky ceramics, bold cushions and eye-catching wall art that can instantly lift a space. It's fab for lighting options. I have my eye on this stripy pendant lamp shade (£25) for an instant pop of colour. Elsewhere, The White Company is a brilliant go-to for on-trend home accessories with a luxurious feel. Its range is full of neutral tones and an understated, effortless style that M&S fans will love. Granted, it's a little more expensive, but there are several bits on my wish list already. That includes this beautiful scalloped marble bowl (£45), ideal for holding keys and trinkets, and these seagrass storage baskets (£35) — they'll come in handy for organising my multitude of cosmetics.

The StoveShelf is an under-$40 storage upgrade that every kitchen should have

I've lived in tiny New York City apartments for going on a decade now, and during that time, I've become somewhat of an expert on making use of every single square inch of storage space available to me. But the area above my stove was a spot I didn't even realize was eluding me — that is, until the StoveShelf came along. Now I wouldn't dream of leaving this precious kitchen real estate unutilized. StoveShelf Magnetic Shelf for Kitchen Stove Available in three sizes and three color options, the magnetic StoveShelf allows you to easily make use of an underutilized area of your kitchen. I grew up in suburbia with a nice, big kitchen, but I've never really had more than a foot of counter space and a handful of kitchen cabinets in my adult life. This poses a challenge not only when it comes to preparing food but also when it comes to storing the many, many tools that are necessary for cooking. Over the years, I've become pretty adept at keeping my cookware to a minimum — I pretty much exclusively use the Our Place Always Pan and Perfect Pot, which are pretty enough to double as decor atop my stove — and coming up with some creative kitchen organization solutions (I use this Ikea pegboard to hold all my kitchen utensils, for example, but that's a story for another day). I didn't so much find the StoveShelf as the StoveShelf found me. It's been years, but if I recall, I heard about the StoveShelf by word of mouth (I know a few other CNN Underscored editors are also fans). Since I'm perpetually starved for storage space, I didn't think twice about implementing it in my kitchen. Adding the StoveShelf to your own stove couldn't be easier. It's magnetic, so all you have to do is literally set the shelf on top of your stove — just be sure to test that the top of your stove is, in fact, magnetic with a fridge magnet before you buy. These aren't flimsy magnets either; it takes some effort to pull the shelf off the stove once it's stuck on, which is ideal, since I don't need to worry about the shelf becoming dislodged and falling into my food. Once I installed mine, I couldn't imagine my stove without a StoveShelf ever again. Available in three different lengths (20, 24 and 30 inches) as well as three color options (stainless steel, black and white), there truly is a StoveShelf for every stove. It took me some time and trial and error to decide what exactly to use mine for (probably very obvious pro tip, but it's not the best place to display a candle), but here's where I eventually landed: My StoveShelf is the official home of my garlic keeper (here's a similar one to mine), measuring cup, egg poachers, salt and pepper shakers and butter crock, which I do one day hope to use but is actually more decor than anything else at the moment. Are these my most prized culinary possessions? Not necessarily, but I do reach for them fairly frequently (or at least like looking at them), and having them stored just above my stove works out to be quite convenient. The biggest draw of the StoveShelf, though, is that it just makes sense. Why would you ever want to leave any storage space on the table? The answer: You wouldn't. Is it safe to put a shelf above the stove? Is it safe to put a shelf above the stove? The StoveShelf is made from steel and is safe to place above your stove. However, you should be sure to only use the StoveShelf if your stove is compatible with the product, and you should only use it to store items that aren't sensitive to heat or could be at risk of falling onto your stove. CNN Underscored has a team of skilled writers and editors who have many years of experience testing, researching and recommending products, and they ensure each article is carefully edited and products are properly vetted. We talk to top experts when applicable to make certain we are testing each product accurately, recommending only the best products and considering the pros and cons of each item. For this article, editorial director Chelsea Stone detailed her use of the StoveShelf, a product she has in her own very tiny kitchen.
