Primary Hydrogen Announces US Expansion with Project Acquisition
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESS Newswire / March 12, 2025 / Primary Hydrogen Corp. (TSXV:HDRO)(FRA:83W0)(OTCQB:HNATF) (the 'Company' or 'Primary'), a leading exploration company focused on identifying and developing natural hydrogen resources, is pleased to announce its expansion into the United States of America ('USA') through its acquisition of the Dove Creek project. The Company has been working with several consultants to evaluate opportunities throughout the USA that are prospective to host significant accumulations of natural hydrogen. A number of regions throughout the continental United States have been identified based on prospectivity for natural hydrogen systems by comprising a source, reservoir and seal. The Dove Creek hydrogen project in Colorado represents the first project acquisition as part of a systematic expansion of the Company's project portfolio into the USA. 'Recognizing the importance of a US project portfolio in order to serve the largest market in North America, this acquisition represents the first stage of execution on our US expansion strategy' commented Benjamin Asuncion, CEO of Primary Hydrogen. 'The combination of a viable hydrogen source, structural migration pathways, and supporting geophysical evidence positions Dove Creek as a significant target for further natural hydrogen assessment and exploration.' Dove Creek Project, Colorado The Dove Creek project is located in southwestern Colorado near the Colorado-Utah border within the borders of the Paradox Basin and near the San Juan Basin to the south and the Uinta-Piceance Basin to the north. The prospectivity of the project is underscored by the potential for natural hydrogen generated by radiolysis of uranium-rich basement rocks. The presence of deep-seated fault systems in the region provides potential migration pathways for hydrogen, which may accumulate in structural or stratigraphic traps. Geophysical data reveal strong gravity anomalies corresponding to fault structures and magnetic anomalies linked to deep crustal features. Additionally, the presence of helium wells in the area indicates active subsurface gas migration, a factor that could be favorable for hydrogen prospectivity. The Dove Creek project is comprised of 744 acres of mineral claims within the Bureau of Land Management which allows the Company to undertake initial exploration and evaluation of the region while contemporaneously expanding and securing additional rights for hydrogen production. Primary Hydrogen Commences Phase 1 Of Natural Hydrogen Exploration Program
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESS Newswire / March 3, 2025 / Primary Hydrogen Corp. (TSXV:HDRO)(FRA:83W0)(OTCQB:HNATF) (the 'Company' or 'Primary'), a leading exploration company focused on identifying and developing natural hydrogen resources, is pleased to announce the commencement of the first phase (Phase 1) of its multiphase 2025 exploration program. Primary has engaged the leading service provider in hyperspectral imaging technology to conduct advanced satellite-based surveys across its portfolio of projects. The industry-leading technology allows for 5 metre spatial resolution with 23 unique bands which provides groundbreaking high-resolution and high-quality images. This initiative aims to assist in the identification of prospective hydrogen exploration targets, leveraging cutting-edge remote sensing capabilities to enhance the Company's resource discovery strategy. Strategic Hydrogen Exploration Through Hyperspectral Imaging The initial phase of the program will involve collecting satellite-based hyperspectral imaging, calibrated over known hydrogen occurrences, to identify potential corresponding signatures across Primary's portfolio of hydrogen projects in Canada. The phased approach will progress as follows: Phase 1: Collection and analysis of satellite-based hyperspectral imaging. Phase 2: Field sampling and mapping of high-priority targets identified in Phase 1. Phase 3: Higher-resolution airborne or ground-based geophysical surveys to refine exploration targets later this year. 'This first step of the exploration program is an exciting milestone toward unlocking Canada's natural hydrogen potential,' said Peter Lauder, VP of Exploration at Primary. 'With cutting-edge hyperspectral imaging, we aim to de-risk exploration, maximize efficiency, and potentially accelerate the discovery of economic hydrogen deposits. This will allow us to focus on the most promising areas in subsequent exploration phases, advancing our goal of defining Canada's first economic natural hydrogen discovery.' Former RAF analyst from Norfolk selected for Invictus Games
A former RAF intelligence analyst from King's Lynn has been selected for the Invictus Games. Peter Lauder, 45, will represent Team UK at the international adaptive multi-sport event in Canada in February. Mr Lauder, who served in Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan, was diagnosed with a fractured necro of the femur, a severe hip injury, and underwent a hip replacement in 2020. The surgery resulted in nerve damage, loss of feeling, and one leg being shorter than the other. He will compete in indoor rowing, wheelchair rugby, and sitting volleyball. King's Lynn man selected for Invictus Games in Canada (Image: Suppled) Mr Lauder said: 'I play wheelchair rugby league with two ex-Invictus Games competitors, and they actually encouraged me to re-apply this year, given the positive experiences they'd recently had at the Games. "They told me I need this after all that's been going on with my injury and personal life these past few months. "After going back and forth on it, I decided to apply." The Invictus Games were established in 2014 by Prince Harry for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans, to participate in as part of their recovery journey. READ MORE: Mr Lauder said: 'It's been a brilliant way to get back into the sports I love and to compete at a national level for Team UK. "I've been able to connect with like-minded people from a military background and do something for myself and although there is a lot I still cannot do; I have discovered there is a lot I can do through sport. 'It won't be about the medals for me, it will be about enjoying the experience. "If I can bring back learnings from the Games and try get more adaptive sports happening in Norfolk that'll be a bonus.' The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 will take place from February 8 to 16.
