30K without power as weather causes outages across Western Washington
As we move into our seventh PinPoint Weather Alert Day Wednesday morning, lingering snow, slush, and icy conditions caused power outages to 29,926 customers across Western Washington. As of 7 a.m., Puget Sound Energy reported 66 outages, impacting 23,690 customers. Seattle City Light (SCL) responded to an outage in the Lake Forest Park area affecting 3,900 customers. By 7 a.m., that number had dropped to 534 customers as power was restored to most customers in the Lake Forest Park area.
