The 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi (0 off 2), who took the cricketing world by storm with his 35-ball century on Monday night, was caught at mid-on off Deepak Chahar in the first over of the Rajasthan innings. Avani won the bronze in the 50m rifle 3 positions SH1 event at the 2020 Paralympics, thus being the first Indian woman to win several medals at a single Paralympic Games. A car accident 13 years back, at the age of 11, left Avani with complete paraplegia, an impairment in motor function of the lower extremities. Avani's father encouraged her to join sports, archery training, but she moved to shooting, in which she found her true passion. She studies law at the Rajasthan University. Avani won a gold medal in the 10m air rifle standing and a bronze in the 50m rifle 3 positions at the 2020 Paralympics. Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be wearing a special all-pink kit for its IPL 2025 match against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Thursday. The jersey is a part of the franchise's Pink Promise campaign aimed at women's empowerment in rural India. Though the campaign, which officially goes by #PinkPromise, the team will donate INR 100 from every match-ticket bought, for women-led rural transformation in Rajasthan. Jaipur: Kumar Kartikeya Singh and Akash Madhwal come into Rajasthan Royals' (RR) playing eleven as captain Riyan Parag won the toss and elected to bowl first against an unchanged Mumbai Indians (MI) in Match 50 of the Indians Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium here on Thursday. RR are currently in seventh place on the points table and need to win all their remaining games to have a chance at entering the playoffs. But it's easier said than done against MI, who are on a five-match winning streak. A win for MI on Thursday will help them replace Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the top of the points table. After winning the toss, Parag said Kartikeya and Madhwal, playing his first game of the current season, have been drafted into the playing eleven due to Wanindu Hasaranga having a niggle, while Sandeep Sharma is unavailable for the rest of the competition after suffering a fracture in his finger, as said by RR before toss happened. 'We might see some dew later. Usually, the wicket settles down a little later at night. Want to exploit that. We've kept it very simple regardless of winning or losing (on celebration after Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's whirlwind century). Rahul sir has made it clear, we keep it simple, whether we go high or low.'
