Catch some sleep at these cute Pokemon rooms in Japan
Fans of the popular Pokemon franchise now have another thing to catch: A stay at one of the Pokemon-themed rooms in Japan.
Mimaru, an apartment hotel brand under Japan's Cosmos Hotel Management, has relaunched the much sought-after stays that revolve around characters from one of the most popular lifestyle and gaming names in the world.
There's a total of 100 Pokemon that can be found in each room, decorating everything from walls to ceilings. So, patrons – young and old – can have fun 'hunting' for them.
The easiest to spot is no doubt Snorlax, as it comes in the form of a giant plushie that's settled in cosily on the bed – perfect for cuddling with!
Patrons can also cook and enjoy Pokemon-themed meals in the cute kitchen.
While patrons can't bring home any of the cute characters and Poke Ball-themed furnishing, they won't go home empty-handed. Guests will receive exclusive limited-edition items that includes a laundry bag and drawstring bag, featuring Pikachu, Bulbasaur and more.
Introduced in 2019, and recently relaunched on July 1, the Pokemon rooms are available across 10 locations in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. For bookings and more information, visit the hotel's official website (
