
Catch some sleep at these cute Pokemon rooms in Japan
Mimaru, an apartment hotel brand under Japan's Cosmos Hotel Management, has relaunched the much sought-after stays that revolve around characters from one of the most popular lifestyle and gaming names in the world.
There's a total of 100 Pokemon that can be found in each room, decorating everything from walls to ceilings. So, patrons – young and old – can have fun 'hunting' for them.
The easiest to spot is no doubt Snorlax, as it comes in the form of a giant plushie that's settled in cosily on the bed – perfect for cuddling with!
Patrons can also cook and enjoy Pokemon-themed meals in the cute kitchen.
While patrons can't bring home any of the cute characters and Poke Ball-themed furnishing, they won't go home empty-handed. Guests will receive exclusive limited-edition items that includes a laundry bag and drawstring bag, featuring Pikachu, Bulbasaur and more.

SEOUL: Hybe America and Paramount Pictures have reportedly announced they will co-produce a K-pop-themed feature film, slated for theatrical release in early 2027. According to The Korea Herald, the film will follow a Korean American teenager who auditions for a reality TV competition, hoping to join a K-pop girl group, against her family's wishes. Filming is scheduled to commence in mid-September and will take place entirely in South Korea. This reportedly marks it as the first major Hollywood studio project to be shot exclusively in the country. Yoo Ji-young and Eric Nam have reportedly been cast in the lead roles, with Korean American director Benson Lee at the helm, working from a script by Eileen Shim. Lee expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying, "This film is my love letter to K-pop — a world filled with energy, passion, magic and an incredible community of support." James Shin of Hybe America, Arthur Spector and Joshua Davis of Epic Magazine, and Hybe board member Scooter Braun will reportedly serve as producers. Bryan Oh, Paramount Pictures' senior vice president, is said to be overseeing the project. It's worth noting that Hybe is the South Korean entertainment company behind popular groups such as BTS, Seventeen, NewJeans, and Enhypen.

The film, which aims for global box office success akin to the recent animated hit K-Pop Demon Hunters (above), is set to premiere in theatres in early 2027. - Netflix SEOUL: Hybe America, the North American branch of BTS' agency Hybe, is teaming up with Paramount Pictures to co-produce a new K-pop-themed feature film, the companies said on Wednesday (July 23). The film, which aims for global box office success akin to the recent animated hit K-Pop Demon Hunters, is set to premiere in theatres in early 2027. Though the title is yet to be announced, the film will centre on a Korean American teenager who defies her family's wishes and auditions for a reality TV competition with dreams of becoming part of a K-pop girl group. Yoo Ji-young, who voiced the youngest Huntrix member Joy in K-Pop Demon Hunters and singer Eric Nam, known for his lead role as surgical resident Yona Yoon in the 2023 Hollywood drama Transplant, will take on the lead roles. The production will begin filming in mid-September and will be shot entirely on location in South Korea — marking the first time a major Hollywood studio has conducted a full production solely in Korea. Korean American director Benson Lee will helm the project, with a screenplay written by Eileen Shim. Producers include James Shin, president of film and television at Hybe America, along with Arthur Spector and Joshua Davis of Epic Magazine and Hybe board member Scooter Braun.
