Justin Bieber's Fans Move From One Hit Single To The Next
When Justin Bieber surprise-released his new album Swag about a month ago, he focused fans' attention on lead single "Daisies." That tune earned a huge debut on a number of Billboard charts and has largely fallen since then, although it has been picking up steam lately on pop radio. As people move past "Daisies," they've turned their attention to another track from the same project — "Yukon" — which this week reaches a new peak on several tallies and even manages to debut on multiple Billboard rankings at the same time. 'Yukon' Debuts on Three Charts Bieber's "Yukon," the second official single from Swag, launches on a trio of the rankings in the United States. It opens highest on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart, where it begins its time at No. 7. Bieber has now collected 17 top 10s on the list of the top-selling tunes in those styles and a milestone 25 total hits on the roster throughout his career. Radio Airplay Begins for 'Yukon' The same Swag single is also just getting started at various radio formats. "Yukon" opens at No. 35 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart and just below the top 40 region, at No. 41, on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay list. In both instances, Bieber collects his milestone tenth win. 'Yukon' Climbs to New Peaks on Multiple Tallies As "Yukon" debuts on three charts, the cut hits a new all-time best showing on two other tallies. On the Rhythmic Airplay chart, "Yukon" surges from No. 33, where it debuted last week, to No. 17. At the same time, it improves its standing by just one space on the R&B Digital Song Sales roster, leaping to No. 5. R&B Success Keeps 'Yukon' at the Top "Yukon" is proving to be a huge win specifically in the R&B space, as it's being pushed to that audience, while "Daisies" caters more to those who favor pop. "Yukon" holds at No. 1 on the R&B Streaming Songs ranking and No. 3 on the Hot R&B Songs chart, even as it declines on more generalized lists like the Hot 100 and Streaming Songs tally. 'Daisies' Gains Ground on Pop Radio "Daisies" is also slipping on the Hot 100, Streaming Songs chart, and both of Billboard's worldwide tallies, but when it comes to radio, the still-new cut is gaining ground. Three weeks into its life on both the Pop Airplay and Adult Pop Airplay charts, "Daisies" grows to new highs, hitting No. 17 on the top 40 list and No. 18 on the ranking aimed at a more mature pop-loving audience. Another Radio Songs Win for Justin Bieber The cut also becomes another top 40 smash for Bieber on the Radio Songs ranking, where "Yukon" has yet to land. "Daisies" barely makes it to that space as it opens at No. 45, giving the Canadian Grammy winner his thirty-seventh placement on the hugely competitive list.

Morgan Wallen's No. 1 Hit Is Barely Making Noise At Country Radio
Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae's 'What I Want' rises to No. 15 on Adult Pop Airplay but barely clings ... More to the Country Airplay chart at No. 60, reflecting its pop-focused strategy. The show airs on November 19, 2023 on (Photo by Derek White/Penske Media via Getty Images) When Morgan Wallen's latest album I'm the Problem debuted on the Billboard charts a little over a month ago, it came with a brand new smash single. 'What I Want,' his collaboration with Canadian pop singer Tate McRae, launched atop multiple tallies at once, including the Hot 100, where it gave McRae her first career champion on that list. Weeks later, it's clear that 'What I Want' is becoming a major success at pop radio. Meanwhile, the country world — where Wallen remains the biggest star the scene has experienced in many years — has yet to fully embrace the track. 'What I Want' Returns to the Country Radio Chart 'What I Want' returns to the Country Airplay chart this frame, but only barely. The Wallen/McRae duet appears on the ranking of the most successful tunes at country radio at No. 60, in last place. Morgan Wallen's Low-Ranking Hit This frame is just the second for the track on this roster, as it previously debuted and peaked at No. 55. 'What I Want' is likely not being promoted to country radio, or at least not heavily. Instead, it's being pushed to pop stations. Although Wallen remains a fixture at country radio, the fact that 'What I Want' appears may be due solely to his incredible popularity and the general success of the tune. 'What I Want' is a Pop Radio Win While 'What I Want' is off to a very slow start on Country Airplay, it is currently performing significantly better on two of Billboard's three pop radio lists. This frame, Wallen and McRae reach a new high point of No. 15 on the Adult Pop Airplay list, up one spot from last time around. 'What I Want' also holds its all-time peak of No. 19 on the Pop Airplay tally, the most important top 40 radio list in America. Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae Rise on the Radio Songs List 'What I Want' is also just getting started on the all-genre Radio Songs chart, where the collaboration debuted last week. This time around, it improves slightly, pushing to No. 45, though it still ranks below all of Wallen's other successes at the moment. Morgan Wallen's Five Country Radio Smashes While 'What I Want' may never become a breakout hit at country radio, that doesn't mean it's not successful. Wallen and his team are likely just giving different radio formats one or two tracks to focus on at a time instead of flooding the country market. As 'What I Want' returns to the Country Airplay list, Wallen fills five spaces on the 60-spot roster, which is nearly unheard of on one of Billboard's most competitive tallies.

Benson Boone's Radio Takeover Comes Just Before His New Album Drops
Benson Boone's 'Mystical Magical' debuts on two Billboard pop radio charts and climbs to new highs ... More on four other rankings ahead of American Heart's release. ELMONT, NEW YORK - SEPTEMBER 11: Benson Boone performs onstage during the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards at UBS Arena on September 11, 2024 in Elmont, New York. (Photo byfor MTV) Benson Boone is enjoying a particularly exciting week on the airwaves in the United States, as three of his songs are currently present on various radio-focused rankings. Each tune has its own momentum, with several of them enticing audiences and exciting them for his sophomore album American Heart, which arrives tomorrow (Friday, June 20). Nearly two months after its mid-April release, American Heart single "Mystical Magical" is just starting to reveal its staying power. This frame, the tune debuts on multiple Billboard tallies, suggesting its life on the charts may be just beginning. "Mystical Magical" lands on two of Billboard's three pop radio rankings this week, just as excitement surrounding American Heart hits its peak. The track premieres at No. 37 on the Pop Airplay chart and No. 36 on the Adult Pop Airplay list, giving Boone his sixth career placement on each of those rankings. For now, the track is absent from the Adult Contemporary chart — the third of the three pop airplay tallies — but that ranking typically moves more slowly than the others, so it could still be a win in the future. Seven weeks after its initial debut on other rankings, "Mystical Magical" also hits new peaks on four Billboard charts simultaneously. The track climbs to previously unseen highs on the Hot 100, Streaming Songs chart, and both of the company's worldwide rankings at the same time. It's a huge week for the American Heart cut, which slips on just one tally, the Digital Song Sales chart. After spending a month as a bestseller, the track appears ready to depart the list. As "Mystical Magical" gains traction on the airwaves, Boone's previous single "Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else" earns new peaks on three of the four radio charts it appears on. The track breaks into the top 10 for the first time on the all-genre Radio Songs list, and narrowly misses hitting No. 1 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, falling short by just one space. Meanwhile, Boone's breakout smash "Beautiful Things" remains a strong performer at radio more than a year after it debuted. The track continues to dominate the Adult Contemporary chart, holding at No. 1 67 weeks into its run. It also inches up to No. 15 on the Radio Songs list, nearly giving Boone a pair of top 10 hits on one of Billboard's most competitive rosters.
