Casey Diggs If you're a fan of Ru Paul's Drag Race, you may have caught a highly entertaining recent interview with Baddies CEO Natalie Nunn with Drag Race contestant, Mistress Isabelle Brooks. In the interview, Nunn teaches Brooks how to be a Baddie, tying into her reality TV empire on the Zeus Network, as the Baddies franchise currently has various chapters, from Baddies Atlanta to Baddies South, Baddies West, Baddies East, Baddies Caribbean, Baddies Midwest, and Baddies Africa. In fact, just a few months ago, Kim Kardashian posted a TikTok video using Nunn's voiceover, which was part of a clip from a Baddies episode. Since starting out starring in the 2009 Oxygen show, Bad Girls Club, Nunn knew she wanted to go above and beyond the typical contracts of a reality star, building her own empire and her 'Baddies' brand. 'I always tell these girls [Baddies], you need to have seven different things that you do to make money if you want to be a millionaire,' said Nunn. 'Seven different ways that you make money. I have many things that I'm involved in.' Nunn, who is known for wearing a diamond bling necklace which says 'Baddies CEO,' a custom chain made by the Ice Brothers, has her own diversified streams of income. Lately, she has become a rapper, being on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 in 2024, for her song 'Pose For Me' with John Mackk, and recently announced she is releasing a Baddies record label, rap album, and a new tequila line, Baddie Baddie Shot O' Clock. She is also the co-owner of one of the largest female cannabis companies, "Baddie Baddie Bluntz," which is sold at over 20 locations around the country, and just signed a deal with That Good Leaf for watermelon flavored rolling papers made with premium Dominican tobacco leaves. Her summer rap tour continues this summer and concludes in September in Miami, and she continues to sell the show's branded merch, like branded Baddies t-shirts, caps and a plush doll that sold out 5,000 units in 24 hours. She is more than just her chin (yes, she got a shout out on Nicki Minaj's song Endless Fashion for it). Natalie Nunn and Cardi B natalie nunn Nunn has been touring across the country this summer, in 30 different cities. 'I used to make $500 a week working at Oxygen, now I'm being paid $30,000 a night to perform,' she said. The demand is there, but so is the controversy. Nunn has a divided audience, as the Baddies show is fueled with drama, with Jerry Springer style fights to keep viewers gawking. Women in hip hop is tough, so banding the Baddies cast together strengthens their resolve. The new Baddies rap album will feature the show's cast members, including Tesehki, MariahLynn, Ahna Mac, Rella GZ, and Ming Li, Nicki Minaj's little sister, all of which have their own rap and R&B careers. 'I'm so proud of them,' said Nunn, whose brand has a following of 90% women. Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs and women business owners is to master the art of time management. 'You've got to manage your time the best way possible,' she said. 'I always get to the airport early. Know what time to get glammed up, know how far away your destination is and give yourself 20 extra minutes. It's not that hard.' Behind the scenes on the shoot of Natalie Nunn's Scared music video natalie nunn Nunn adds: 'It's a big thing. You can't be the baddest bitch and you're a no-show. You can't be the baddest CEO and not be on top of everything. Always be on top of your game.' What motivates Nunn to keep going is the current cast of women on all the Baddies shows. 'I read books on long flights about leadership by John Maxwell; I always tell women to go after whatever your dreams and ambitions are.' She is results-driven and productive. 'Go out and get stuff done,' said Nunn. 'Don't just sit there and scroll on your phone. Do something productive. It's a serious thing. I want people to enjoy life. They're going to shoot you down. People are going to call you fat, they call me a bad mom.' Natalie Nunn with Vuitton luggage. natalie nunn But resilience is key, especially if you're a figure in the public eye. 'On your bad days, remember that someone is having a worse day than you,' said Nunn. 'That helps you quickly switch that mindset out. Always have gratitude. Someone else has it worse in the world.' When it comes to fashion, Nunn's favorite designer is Chanel. 'She was just such a bad bitch,' said Nunn. 'Chanel is classic and I'm a Chanel girl, even though I style these items in a way that makes them hip-hop, it's urban. Fashion should always be fun.' She turns to staples, like Louis Vuitton for travel gear, as she's often on the road traveling to different Baddies shooting locations, when she isn't rapping at events, and when it comes to handbags, turns to Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga. Fashion is partly the reward for her hard work. 'I worked hard, I busted my ass,' said Nunn. 'I do sit back and think, finally something shows for it, this has been going on for 17 years. I've been running ragged and working and doing reality shows up to reality shows. When I do come home, I finally get to kick my feet up, but then I have to get out of there in three days.'
