Baddies CEO Natalie Nunn On Bling And Luxury Fashion Essentials
If you're a fan of Ru Paul's Drag Race, you may have caught a highly entertaining recent interview with Baddies CEO Natalie Nunn with Drag Race contestant, Mistress Isabelle Brooks.
In the interview, Nunn teaches Brooks how to be a Baddie, tying into her reality TV empire on the Zeus Network, as the Baddies franchise currently has various chapters, from Baddies Atlanta to Baddies South, Baddies West, Baddies East, Baddies Caribbean, Baddies Midwest, and Baddies Africa. In fact, just a few months ago, Kim Kardashian posted a TikTok video using Nunn's voiceover, which was part of a clip from a Baddies episode.
Since starting out starring in the 2009 Oxygen show, Bad Girls Club, Nunn knew she wanted to go above and beyond the typical contracts of a reality star, building her own empire and her 'Baddies' brand.
'I always tell these girls [Baddies], you need to have seven different things that you do to make money if you want to be a millionaire,' said Nunn. 'Seven different ways that you make money. I have many things that I'm involved in.'
Nunn, who is known for wearing a diamond bling necklace which says 'Baddies CEO,' a custom chain made by the Ice Brothers, has her own diversified streams of income. Lately, she has become a rapper, being on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 in 2024, for her song 'Pose For Me' with John Mackk, and recently announced she is releasing a Baddies record label, rap album, and a new tequila line, Baddie Baddie Shot O' Clock.
She is also the co-owner of one of the largest female cannabis companies, "Baddie Baddie Bluntz," which is sold at over 20 locations around the country, and just signed a deal with That Good Leaf for watermelon flavored rolling papers made with premium Dominican tobacco leaves.
Her summer rap tour continues this summer and concludes in September in Miami, and she continues to sell the show's branded merch, like branded Baddies t-shirts, caps and a plush doll that sold out 5,000 units in 24 hours. She is more than just her chin (yes, she got a shout out on Nicki Minaj's song Endless Fashion for it).

Nunn has been touring across the country this summer, in 30 different cities. 'I used to make $500 a week working at Oxygen, now I'm being paid $30,000 a night to perform,' she said.
The demand is there, but so is the controversy. Nunn has a divided audience, as the Baddies show is fueled with drama, with Jerry Springer style fights to keep viewers gawking.
Women in hip hop is tough, so banding the Baddies cast together strengthens their resolve. The new Baddies rap album will feature the show's cast members, including Tesehki, MariahLynn, Ahna Mac, Rella GZ, and Ming Li, Nicki Minaj's little sister, all of which have their own rap and R&B careers. 'I'm so proud of them,' said Nunn, whose brand has a following of 90% women.
Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs and women business owners is to master the art of time management. 'You've got to manage your time the best way possible,' she said. 'I always get to the airport early. Know what time to get glammed up, know how far away your destination is and give yourself 20 extra minutes. It's not that hard.'

Nunn adds: 'It's a big thing. You can't be the baddest bitch and you're a no-show. You can't be the baddest CEO and not be on top of everything. Always be on top of your game.'
What motivates Nunn to keep going is the current cast of women on all the Baddies shows. 'I read books on long flights about leadership by John Maxwell; I always tell women to go after whatever your dreams and ambitions are.'
She is results-driven and productive. 'Go out and get stuff done,' said Nunn. 'Don't just sit there and scroll on your phone. Do something productive. It's a serious thing. I want people to enjoy life. They're going to shoot you down. People are going to call you fat, they call me a bad mom.'

But resilience is key, especially if you're a figure in the public eye. 'On your bad days, remember that someone is having a worse day than you,' said Nunn. 'That helps you quickly switch that mindset out. Always have gratitude. Someone else has it worse in the world.'
When it comes to fashion, Nunn's favorite designer is Chanel. 'She was just such a bad bitch,' said Nunn. 'Chanel is classic and I'm a Chanel girl, even though I style these items in a way that makes them hip-hop, it's urban. Fashion should always be fun.'
She turns to staples, like Louis Vuitton for travel gear, as she's often on the road traveling to different Baddies shooting locations, when she isn't rapping at events, and when it comes to handbags, turns to Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga. Fashion is partly the reward for her hard work.
'I worked hard, I busted my ass,' said Nunn. 'I do sit back and think, finally something shows for it, this has been going on for 17 years. I've been running ragged and working and doing reality shows up to reality shows. When I do come home, I finally get to kick my feet up, but then I have to get out of there in three days.'

'Drag Race' alum scores silver medal in artistic swimming at World Aquatics Masters
A former Drag Race competitor has found a new place to shine — the world of artistic swimming. And she just won a silver medal in a major international competition in the process. Fans of Canada's Drag Race may know Giorgio Triberio better as Gia Metric, one of the queens who made it to the top four in season two of the RPDR spin-off. But off-stage, Triberio has spent the last year training to attend the 2025 World Aquatics Masters Championships in Singapore. Speaking to OutSports, the Drag Race alum admitted that he became interested in artistic swimming after attending a show in 2021 with a friend, Jordan Wuest, who works as a coach. "I remember being sat in the crowd at this show, jaw on the floor, being like, 'Oh my gosh, they're dancing in the water!'" he said. "I was mesmerized as I'd never seen synchro in person before. That's where my fascination with the sport began." Triberio wound up asking Wuest to train him, setting a goal to join her club at the Worlds this summer. With hard work, he qualified at provincials in April with a gold medal and set off for Singapore, where he performed to an original song he wrote and recorded himself. And when all was said and done, he not only came in second for his age group (30-39) in the men's solo free competition, but walked away empowered to keep competing. "It's an incredible feeling," he told OutSports. "Coming into Singapore, there was so much potential in this being a 'one and done' for me. Now I'm looking at the Gay Games in Valencia next year, and there's potential to achieve a lot of things. It's definitely something I'll be sticking to." Bob the Drag Queen Counts How Many Times Lady Gaga Asks Fans at Mayhem Ball to Put Their Paws Up
Few phrases are as iconic to fans of Lady Gaga than being instructed to 'put your paws up' — and Drag Race alum Bob the Drag Queen decided to figure out exactly how often Mother Monster still says it. In a video posted to his TikTok on Wednesday (Aug. 6), Bob shared a clip of himself preparing to attend the Mayhem Ball in Los Angeles, in which he revealed his plan to track the number of times Gaga instructs her fans to put their hands in the air. More from Billboard Lady Gaga Kicks Off The Mayhem Ball: See Every Song on the Opening Night Setlist Bob the Drag Queen Is Not Sorry for His Antics on 'The Traitors' Season 3: 'Move On' Lady Gaga's 'Wednesday' Role Will Also Include a Spooky New Song for Season 2 'I'm headed to the Mayhem Ball, and I have this little counter,' Bob said, holding up a handheld tally counter to the camera. 'I'm gonna count how many times Lady Gaga requests that we put our hands up. I'm counting 'put your hands up,' 'put your paws up,' 'get them up,' 'hands up,' anytime it is clear to me that she is wanting us to put our hands in the air.' Throughout the rest of the clip, Bob interviews a series of his friends before the show to get their predictions for how often Gaga will ask the crowd to raise their hands. TikTok personality and singer Brittany Broski guessed that Mother Monster would ask 15 times, while Bob's partner, Jacob Ritts, said she'd make the request 131 times. 'I was gonna say 45 [times],' Bob offered. After a series of clips from the show, wherein Gaga performed songs including 'LoveDrug,' 'Poker Face' and 'Paparazzi,' Bob appeared back on camera to reveal that the singer asked her fans to put their hands in the air a whopping 88 times. 'I did include the four times that she sang it in the song 'Applause,' to be fair,' Bob said with a laugh. 'Make sure your arms are rested before you go see Mayhem.' Fans looking to throw their hands up at one of Gaga's forthcoming shows still have plenty of opportunities to do so. Mother Monster is performing two Mayhem Ball shows in Seattle on Thursday (Aug. 7) and Saturday (Aug. 9), before heading to New York City for a six-date mini-residency at Madison Square Garden starting on Aug. 22. The tour will reach Miami, Toronto and Chicago in the coming months before Gaga heads overseas for the European leg of her tour.
