Fantasy 5 winners: West Palm, Boca Raton markets sell winning Florida Lottery tickets

A supermarket in suburban West Palm Beach and a mini-mart in Boca Raton sold winning tickets in the May 29 evening Fantasy 5 drawing, the Florida Lottery said. The winning tickets bore the number combination of 4-11-23-29-32 and paid $36,872.43 each. The West Palm Beach-area supermarket was the Presidente at Okeechobee Boulevard and Military Trail. The Boca Raton mini-mart was the PRIP market on West Camino Real, just west of South Dixie Highway. The winner sold at Presidente was a Quick Pick, meaning the lottery's computers chose the number combination for the player. The third winning ticket was sold at a Publix super market in Spring Hill, north of Tampa. This Miami bar was just voted one of the best in North America

If you're craving a taste of Old Havana—minus the passport—you'll find it in the heart of Little Havana at Café La Trova, which just secured the number 13 spot on the prestigious North America's 50 Best Bars list for 2025. The ranking, unveiled at a live ceremony in Vancouver this week, celebrates the continent's top cocktail destinations, from Mexico City's reigning champ Handshake Speakeasy (number 1) to buzzy newcomers like New York's Clemente Bar (number 11). But Miami's lone representative on the list, Café La Trova, is no stranger to global accolades—and no ordinary watering hole. The brainchild of acclaimed cantinero Julio Cabrera and James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein, along with her husband, restaurateur David Martinez, La Trova is a blend of culinary craft and Cuban nostalgia. Expect your daiquiri shaken by white-jacketed bartenders who literally dance behind the bar while a rumba band plays on. Cabrera's menu is a love letter to Cuba's golden age, with drinks like the Presidente (Havana Club Añejo Clásico rum, blanc vermouth de Chambery, dry curaçao and grenadine) and the tropical Hotel Nacional (rum, apricot liqueur, pineapple and lime) capturing the spirit of pre-Revolutionary Havana. Bernstein complements the cocktails with elegant twists on Cuban classics, like Serrano ham Cubanos and steak empanadas that some say are the best in Miami. In a city brimming with beach clubs and rooftop lounges, Café La Trova stands out for its soul. And now, it's officially one of the best bars in North America. Salud to that. Chef Michelle Bernstein's La Cañita expands to Kendall

Award-winning Miami chef Michelle Bernstein is heading to Kendall next month. Driving the news: Bernstein's restaurant La Cañita, which has a smaller space in Bayside Marketplace, is expanding to the Palms of Town & Country. State of plate: The menu will feature Latin and Caribbean cuisine, like croquetas, empanadas, oxtail lasagna and locally caught snapper with ginger mojo de ajo. The craft cocktail menu includes a classic Mojito made with four year Flor de Caña, the Presidente with housemade grenadine and the Brownie Old Fashioned, with Rye, Strega, brownie port and house bitters. The vibe: An "island-kissed rum distillery" with an outdoor patio and live music. What they're saying: La Cañita co-owner David Martinez, who has partnered with Bernstein on Miami staples like Cafe La Trova and Sweet Liberty, said the restaurant is a "labor of love." "Our goal was always to give our guests an exciting, fun experience that was reasonably priced without compromising flavor, quality or ambiance." If you go: 8405 Mills Drive, Suite 203
