#SHOWBIZ: Chocolates and camera time for Muaz
"WE need desserts to sweeten up our days, especially when things don't go according to plan," actor Muaz Zabir quipped. The 27-year-old actor, who recently appeared in the popular TV3 drama series Keluarga Itu, revealed his plans to supply desserts to a friend's upcoming cafe. This marks another foray into the world of business for Muaz, who has been balancing his entrepreneurial pursuits with his acting career. Muaz's acting career took off after winning the TV3 reality show Fit For Action in 2022. He then landed a role in the 2023 TV drama Bukan Hanya Sekadar Cinta. Before his entertainment career, he worked as a personal trainer. During the recent Ramadan period, Muaz took a brief hiatus from acting after completing his filming commitments for Keluarga Itu, which features a star-studded cast including Datuk Rosyam Noor, Datin Seri Umie Aida, Izara Aishah, Puteri Balqis, Amir Ahnaf, and Fattah Amin. Instead of resting on his laurels, Muaz kept busy with various projects, including selling clothing at Hari Raya bazaars in both Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. He also serves as a brand ambassador for Primavalet. Muaz also participated in Media Prima's recent corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, Tonton Gen+ Suai Kenal Sekolah, organized by TV3, Tonton, and DIDIKTVKPM. Safi Shayla was the project's brand partner. As part of the programme, Muaz shared his experiences with students at Sekolah Seri Puteri in Cyberjaya. Other celebrities involved in the initiative included Syahir Shafein, Anim Ezati, Zharif Ghazzi, Sharul Kamal, Fitri Farok, Hakimi Noordin, Shah (Tapaw), and Nisa Ka. Regarding his new dessert venture, Muaz sees it as an opportunity to expand his horizons and gain valuable business experience. "I'll be supplying chocolate and strawberry-based desserts initially. "As we progress, we may expand the menu to include other sweet treats, such as banana-based desserts and ice cream," Muaz explained. He added. "If chocolate can brighten someone's day, why not?" "Since I'm relatively new to this, I'm relying on a trusted team to help manage the day-to-day operations. "However, I'm personally involved in the research and development, supplier sourcing, and other crucial aspects of the business," he said.

"That one is mine," Syed Saddiq responds to PMX about Bella Astillah
6 Mar - Who knew that Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Sri Anwar Ibrahim is the biggest "gossiper" of all, as he successfully made Muar MP Syed Saddiq blush and finally made an admission following his teasing questions about singer Bella Astillah. In a video that had since gone viral, the Muar MP was seen gifting the Prime Minister with two pairs of new Baju Melayu from Primavalet, the same brand he modelled for alongside Bella for the past few months. Anwar couldn't help but tease Saddiq as the gifts changed hands, saying, "Bella needs to stand next to me, only then I can wear it," to which Saddiq responded, "Don't tease me so. That one is mine." In another interaction later on, Anwar could be heard asking Saddiq if everything is already prepared, to which the latter responded, "Pray for me. If there is anything, you will be the first to know." The Prime Minister then cheekily held up a piece of paper in his hand to cover his face while he said something to the young MP. The interaction between the two politicians from two different sides had everybody jumping with joy, with fans who have "boarded" the Saddiq-Bella ship begin to plan for their wedding. This include singer Alif Satar, who posted, "Okay, lock the date quickly, Saddiq. Alif Satar and the Locos will standby to perform that night." Another netizen posted, "Thank you, PMX. SpaceDollah gives blessing to rumoured Syed Saddiq
4 Mar - Bella Astillah and Syed Saddiq might be keeping mum about the actual nature of their relationship, but that doesn't stop the politician's brother from giving his blessings to the rumoured couple. In a recent livestream session, content creator SpaceDollah, real name Syed Abdullah, stated that he is definitely okay with the idea of his brother being more than colleagues with the Sabahan singer. "I will bless them. Even I think they are good together. They have chemistry," he said, when asked by netizens to share his two cents about them. Syed also said that his politician brother seemed to look happier since he got to know Bella. "I know my brother. I rarely see him so happy. If he is happy, I am happy too," he added. Jokingly calling Saddiq "Syed Segaraga" (a character from the classic P. Ramlee movie "Tiga Abdul"), Syed said that he hopes to see his brother settle down. "I think Bella suits him. Pray that they are meant to be. Let's hope that there is a spark," he said. Saddiq and Bella were first united by fashion brand Primavalet to promote their new Eid collection together, before their chemistry had Malaysian netizens supporting and calling for real romance.
