DPS Kalyanpur win athletics championship
Kanpur: DPS Kalyanpur won over all championship of athletics meet held under Youth Olympics here at Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Sanatan Dharm Vidyalaya on Wednesday. DPS Azad Nagar and Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Sanatan Dharm Vidyalaya stood as first and second runnersup respectively.

During the meet 100, 200, 400, 600 & 1500 mts race, long jump, shot put, discuss throw and relay race events were held.
Trials – District level and divisional level junior boys basketball selection trials will be held at Green Park stadium on July 25 at 10 am and 3 pm.
The selected divisional level team will participate in state level junior boys basketball championship. According to regional sports officer, Bhanu Prasad, interested players should contact his office and they should carry their Aadhar card birth certificate at the time of trial.
Players who are born on January 1, 2007 or thereafter will be eligible for participation in trials.
Volley ball – CMKP Sainik School Lucknow defeated host Gaurav Memorial International school by 2-1 in the final and won the title of under – 14 age group of Volley Ball cluster 4 championship of CBSE schools. Hosts displayed fine work in under – 17 years group and won the trophy defeating Vidya Gyan School Sitapur by 2-1 in the final. Army Public School Farrukhabad outplayed Army Public school SP Marg Lucknow by 2-0 and won under – 19 group championship.
