Indore: District administration on Wednesday announced that the mega campaign launched for swift resolution of revenue cases had achieved its target of resolving 100 percent cases pending till May 31, including those registered under RCMS (Revenue Case Monitoring System) and the Public Service Guarantee Act. "To ensure complete transparency and accountability, a reward of Rs 5,000 has been announced for any applicant who reports a revenue case from the period before May 31, 2025 that has not been resolved yet," Collector Asheesh Singh said, adding this amount would be recovered from the concerned revenue officer responsible for the delay. He said that the campaign, which ran across the entire district from June 16 to July 31, aimed to provide quick resolution to revenue-related issues and update land records for the citizens of Indore district. The target was to resolve all applications for mutation, partition, demarcation, sub-division, right-of-way disputes, possession disputes, and record corrections received through Public Service Centres or registered in RCMS by May 31, 2025. During the review, it was reported that within this period, a total of 5,079 cases of mutation, 642 cases of partition, 2,305 cases of demarcation, 1,994 cases of sub-division, 209 cases of right-of-way disputes, 271 cases of possession disputes, and 1,404 cases of record corrections were carried out. "In total, the campaign resolved 11,904 revenue cases across the district," he said.

Lucknow: It took over 4,675 reforms, including the digitisation of some 524 services, to make Uttar Pradesh a national model in Ease of Doing Business (EoDB). "At the core of this transformation is Invest UP, the state's nodal investment agency, which has implemented investor-centric initiatives that have positioned Uttar Pradesh among the top states in India for recent business reforms," an official spokesperson said. "The reforms implemented under the Business Reform Action Plan have ensured a favourable environment for MSMEs, startups, and FDI, while digital and responsive governance has also increased investor confidence," he said. Adding that the state's commitment and efficient approach helped UP become one of the leading investment destinations in India, he said: "The state govt has connected 45 departments to this initiative. As a result, key services related to industries, environment, electricity, pollution control, housing, and irrigation have now become integrated and trackable." "Over 200 business-related services have been included under the Public Service Guarantee Act, with clear timelines set for issuing approvals, NOCs, and licences," the spokesperson said. Officials said that the Chief Minister's office was monitoring all services in real-time through an integrated dashboard which had reduced delays and corruption while increasing accountability across departments.

CM Sai, under whose initiative the reform was undertaken, announced that all lift and escalator-related services have now been brought under the Public Service Guarantee Act . As per the new rule, all applications for registration, renewal, and inspection must be processed within 30 days. Any delay beyond this timeframe will hold the concerned officials accountable, ensuring prompt service for industries and commercial establishments. "Our govt's priority is the safety and convenience of the public," said chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai. "By bringing lift and escalator services under the Public Service Guarantee Act, we are ensuring that citizens receive timely services and maintain their trust in public systems." Chief electrical inspectorate has urged all builders, commercial establishments, and lift operators to strictly comply with the new regulations and maintain the highest safety standards. Authorities emphasized that the updated norms will not only improve safety but also help in reducing insurance costs and minimizing business risks.
