Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Wasil, CEO of the Literature Commission, highlighted Saudi Arabia's participation stems from strong cultural ties with Oman. He stressed the Commission aims to boost cooperation in literature, publishing, and translation amid both nations' cultural growth. Al-Wasil explained the fair offers a vital platform for the global publishing industry. It enables Saudi publishers to connect with international peers, fostering partnerships. Leading Saudi entities at the fair include the King Salman International Academy for the Arabic Language and King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives. Other key participants are King Abdulaziz Public Library, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, and Taibah University. Literature Commission inaugurates Saudi Pavilion at Muscat Book Fair

Saudi Gazette report MUSCAT — The Literature, Publishing &Translation Commission launched its pavilion at the Muscat International Book Fair 2025. The fair, which will be held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center from April 24 to May 3, will feature 35 countries and 674 publishing houses participating. Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Wasil, CEO of the Literature Commission, emphasized that Saudi Arabia's participation in the Muscat International Book Fair 2025 stems from the strong cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Oman. The Commission seeks to enhance cooperation in the fields of literature, publishing, and translation, given the flourishing cultural movement and intellectual progress witnessed by Saudi Arabia and Oman. He explained that the Book Fair represents a supportive opportunity for the book and publishing industry, as it allows Saudi publishers to network with their counterparts from around the world. The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission is leading Saudi Arabia's participation in the Muscat International Book Fair 2025, with the participation of several prominent cultural and educational entities, including the King Salman International Academy for the Arabic Language, King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives, King Abdulaziz Public Library, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur'an, the Publishing Association, and Taibah University.
