Saudi Arabia's Literature, Publishing & Translation Commission launched its pavilion at the Muscat International Book Fair 2025. The event, running from 24 April to 3 May at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, hosts 35 countries and 674 publishing houses.
Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Wasil, CEO of the Literature Commission, highlighted Saudi Arabia's participation stems from strong cultural ties with Oman. He stressed the Commission aims to boost cooperation in literature, publishing, and translation amid both nations' cultural growth.
Al-Wasil explained the fair offers a vital platform for the global publishing industry. It enables Saudi publishers to connect with international peers, fostering partnerships. Leading Saudi entities at the fair include the King Salman International Academy for the Arabic Language and King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives. Other key participants are King Abdulaziz Public Library, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, and Taibah University. Vision 2030 in Action
