Bigg Boss 18's Vivian Dsena Is More Of A TV Person, Says ‘Films Are Not My Type'

Last Updated: While many TV stars chase film roles, Vivian Dsena shared he was not interested in the medium. In an industry where many television stars dream of making the leap to the big screen, Vivian Dsena continues to stand apart. While conversations around the challenges faced by TV actors trying to break into films are common, Vivian isn't interested in fighting that battle — not because he doubts his potential, but simply because the medium doesn't appeal to him.. In a chat with Mid-Day, the actor opened up about his perspective on films, his love for television, and a fresh chapter that has fans buzzing. 'By God's grace, I have done four shows, and all of them have been hits," he told Mid-Day. 'I would like to continue doing that, whether on television or the web, but films are not really my type." But while he's ruling out movies, the actor is definitely not stepping away from the limelight. In fact, he dropped some exciting news that's bound to thrill his loyal fanbase. 'I've come back, really come back to work. There are a lot of discussions and new projects in the pipeline, so hopefully, you'll see me in a series very soon," he shared. As per reports, Vivian is all set to explore the world of digital entertainment. With web platforms opening up new storytelling possibilities, the actor confirmed he's currently in talks for several OTT ventures and will be returning to screens in a series shortly. It's a move that aligns perfectly with his comfort in performance-driven formats while allowing him to experiment with fresh narratives. Adding to the celebration was another significant moment—Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, one of Vivian's most beloved shows, completed 13 years on May 28. Reflecting on that unforgettable journey and the massive fan support the show received, Vivian got nostalgic. 'During Madhubala, fans would come all the way to Film City just to meet me," he recalled. 'There were women who would say, 'Sir, my husband may not watch anything else, but he never misses your show.' These people came only for RK (Vivian's character), and I truly feel I was at the right place at the right time and I put in just the right amount of hard work to make it count." Vivian Dsena made waves in the Gladrags Mr. India contest in 2007, which became a launchpad for his career on television. Over the years, he has built an enviable career. With memorable roles in Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Pyaar Ki Ek Kahaani, Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and more, he's carved a niche few can rival. First Published:
