Luis Campos has committed his future to Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), with the Portuguese sporting director extending his role as Sports Advisor to the group until 2030. Campos, who initially joined QSI in June 2022 on a three-year deal, will now continue to shape the group's overarching sporting strategy for at least the next five years. The new agreement cements his position as a central figure in QSI's expansive football and sports portfolio, including continued oversight of Paris Saint-Germain's men's football operations and an advisory role at Portuguese side SC Braga. The extension was confirmed on Thursday by QSI Chairman Nasser AlKhelaïfi, who praised Campos for his influence over a period of significant sporting and strategic growth within the organisation. Sporting Success at PSG and Braga Under Campos' leadership, Paris Saint-Germain have collected three Ligue 1 titles, a Coupe de France and three Trophée des Champions titles over the last three seasons. The club also reached the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League consistently, including a final, a semi-final, and a round-of-16 appearance. Campos' influence has not been limited to the French capital. SC Braga, in which QSI holds a minority stake, have progressed both domestically and in Europe, bolstered by his strategic guidance and focus on youth development. Campos, who is from Portugal and began working with PSG in an official role of football advisor in 2022, "will oversee the sports strategy of the whole QSI group". That includes Braga, who finished fourth in this season's Portuguese league and in whom QSI holds a minority stake. Campos's existing deal was due to expire at the end of this season and the announcement is welcome news for PSG as they prepare for the Champions League final against Inter Milan in Munich on May 31. Before that they face Reims in the French Cup final on Saturday as they bid to complete a clean sweep of the domestic honours in France for the second season running. Campos previously worked at Monaco and at Lille and has overseen the successful squad rebuild at PSG following the shift away from the superstar approach that led to the signings of Neymar and Lionel Messi.
