Rivan is releasing a special version of its R1S, an electric mid-size luxury SUV. Called the California Dune Edition, it has a desert-inspired paint color and other goodies.
The R1S California Dune Edition introduces a new paint color that's also called California Dune.
The SUV features three electric motors that provide all-wheel drive and combine for 850 horsepower and 1103 pound-feet of torque.
Inside, the color scheme is a two-tone mix of Sandstone and Black Mountain.
The driver faces a digital gauge cluster and has easy access to the center console.
Rivian's infotainment system features attractive animated menus.
The SUV's wheels come with either a darkened look or can be color-matched to the body.

The California Dune Edition includes these roof-mounted traction boards.
With the standard All-Terrain package, the R1S's EPA-estimated range is capped at 329 miles.
The 2025 Rivian R1S California Dune Edition is now available to order starting at $105,900.
