The wins reinforce REV's position as a leading force in the local digital media landscape, recognised for its editorial leadership and branded content capabilities. The group's Digital Publisher of the Year title reflects its strength in audience-first content, multi-language editorial coverage and platform-native storytelling. Meanwhile, the Content Agency of the Year award, introduced this year, acknowledges REV's growth as a full-service agency delivering brand campaigns across digital, video and social media formats. 'Halal Travel' campaign to empower Muslim globetrotters
REV Media Group has launched Halal Travel, a campaign designed to support Muslim travellers with practical and halal-conscious solutions, running from May to December. The initiative is driven by four of the group's digital platforms — My Resipi, Sirap Limau, VOCKET and Waktu Solat Malaysia — each contributing curated content, tools and guides to build a supportive travel ecosystem aligned with Islamic values. REV Media Group senior sponsored content writer Muhamad Shaifullah Tayep said many Muslims still struggle to find halal food, prayer spaces and culturally respectful experiences when travelling abroad. "Through Halal Travel, we want to bridge that gap and make it easier for Muslims to explore the world with confidence and peace of mind," he said. The campaign brings together the expertise of these four distinct platforms to offer a holistic experience tailored for Muslim travellers of all backgrounds: Together, they form a seamless digital travel companion for Muslim travellers. The campaign also seeks to raise awareness of halal travel standards and encourage culturally immersive experiences. These include pre-planned itineraries, halal eateries, prayer space locators and destination-specific etiquette tips. Tools such as a Qibla finder and live prayer times are integrated into the campaign's microsite. "Halal Travel isn't just about food — it's about feeling respected and comfortable in a foreign environment," Shaifullah added. "Whether you're finding the nearest mosque or looking for family-friendly activities that don't compromise your beliefs, this campaign is about ensuring Muslim travellers feel seen, supported and inspired." REV Media Group hosts ‘Ejen Ali 2' screening for PPR community

(REV Media Group pic) PETALING JAYA : REV Media Group recently hosted a special screening of 'Ejen Ali: The Movie 2' for underprivileged families from Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) communities, in line with its commitment to using technology and media as tools for its environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy. Held on June 4, the initiative brought together 200 attendees, including 100 beneficiaries from PPR areas across the Klang Valley, as part of the company's 'Tech For Good' programme. The screening was made possible through a collaboration with Primeworks Studios and Pepper Labs. Attendees were treated to 'Ejen Ali: The Movie 2', currently the highest-grossing Malaysian animated film with a box office collection of RM40.6 million. The event also featured appearances by mascot characters Ejen Ali and Ejen Alicia, adding a memorable touch for the young audience. 'This initiative reflects our belief that technology and media can make a real difference. It's about creating a positive impact and providing meaningful experiences, especially to those who may not have easy access to them,' said Samuel Wee, chief executive officer of REV Media Group. REV Media Group screens 'Ejen Ali: The Movie 2' for PPR families
KUALA LUMPUR: REV Media Group held a special screening of Ejen Ali: The Movie 2 for underprivileged communities in the Klang Valley, as part of its ongoing social outreach efforts under its environmental, social and governance (ESG) programme. The event, organised under the group's "Tech For Good" initiative, took place on June 4 in collaboration with Primeworks Studios and Pepper Labs. It brought together 100 beneficiaries from the People's Housing Project(PPR) communities and 100 REV Media Group staff and their families for a private viewing of the animated film. With box office takings of RM40.6 million, Ejen Ali: The Movie 2 is currently Malaysia's highest-grossing animated feature. The screening also featured appearances by mascot characters Ejen Ali and Ejen Alicia, adding to the excitement. At the screening, REV Media group chief executive officer Samuel Wee said: "We're thankful for the opportunity to bring Malaysia's highest-grossing animated film to communities that might not otherwise have had access."
