Storylines to follow during June's second huge visit weekend
Nick Lucero/ It's the second massive weekend of official visits and camps across the country. Rivals national recruiting director Adam Gorney looks at 12 major storylines to watch. MORE: Several elite quarterbacks hitting the road for pivotal official visits RECRUITING RUMOR MILL: Latest buzz on nearly three dozen prospects | June kicks off with a bang | Baltimore | Detroit NEW RIVALS250 RELEASED: Ranking | Top storylines | Ten prospects who could rise with a big June CLASS OF 2026 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State CLASS OF 2027 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State TRANSFER PORTAL: Full coverage | Player ranking | Team ranking | Transfer search | Transfer Tracker RIVALS CAMP SERIES: Rivals Five-Star heading back to Indy | Rivals Five-Star roster | Schedule/info CLOSING TIME FOR BAMA It's a big weekend at Alabama with a handful of top targets that the Crimson Tide should close on in town as well. Advertisement Five-star safety Jireh Edwards was at Auburn last weekend but the chatter is that Alabama is out front in his recruitment. Former USC four-star linebacker commit Xavier Griffin, an Alabama legacy, will also be there. He's coming off a phenomenal Ohio State trip but the Crimson Tide have the edge there, too. Four-star QB Matt Ponatoski, who wants to play baseball and football in college, is visiting as Alabama, Oregon and others are involved. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH ALABAMA FANS AT CAN AUBURN SHOCK WITH FIVE-STAR QB? Auburn has another big weekend as coach Hugh Freeze has the recruiting train rolling strong on The Plains but the biggest outcome of this entire week could be the Tigers making a serious move with 2027 five-star quarterback Elijah Haven. Advertisement The Baton Rouge (La.) Dunham standout made his first visit to Auburn this week and already said he plans to be back because he loves coach Freeze and position coach Kent Austin. LSU is considered the front-runner and could be tough to beat but Haven has some thinking to do now. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH LSU FANS AT FLIP WATCH AND MORE AT FLORIDA Auburn defensive end commit Hezekiah Harris is coming to Gainesville as he's more seriously looking at some others. Michigan defensive back pledge Brody Jennings and Florida State receiver commit Darryon Williams will be there, too. On top of some major flip candidates, Florida will also have four-star edge rusher Jake Kreul there and while Oklahoma might have the edge and Ohio State blew him away last weekend, the Gators are making a serious move for him. High three-star offensive lineman Chancellor Campbell is coming, too, as Florida and Georgia are engaged in a major battle. Five-star receiver Cederian Morgan is expected and while Florida is a long shot, it gets its chance this weekend. Advertisement SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH FLORIDA FANS AT 1ST AND TEN FLORIDA DL WATCH AT GEORGIA Vodney Cleveland. Dre Quinn. Kendall Guervil. PJ Dean. Ebenezer Ewetade. It's a loaded defensive line list coming to Athens this weekend and it wouldn't be a shock at all to see coach Kirby Smart and his staff close on some of those big names down the stretch. There are some others that Georgia has some work on. Four-star running back Savion Hiter is expected as Ohio State, Tennessee and others are involved there. Four-star, long, athletic defensive back Tamarion Watkins is also expected in Athens as South Carolina could have the edge there. Smart is the best recruiter in college football, though, so another big weekend awaits in Athens. Advertisement SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH GEORGIA FANS AT FAHEY GOES TO BLOOMINGTON One of the last uncommitted quarterbacks in the class is Luke Fahey as Stanford and Indiana are the two front-runners pending a visit to Ohio State later this month. The Mission Viejo, Calif., standout had an excellent visit to Stanford last weekend and it's tough to beat sitting down with general manager Andrew Luck. But there is serious intrigue in the Hoosiers and the opportunity there. Of course, this could all collapse later this month if Ohio State offers but until then it's really a two-team race. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH INDIANA FANS AT THOMALLA BACK AT IOWA STATE Landing a commitment from four-star quarterback Jett Thomalla was a massive recruiting win for Iowa State in April. Keeping him will now be the challenge. The Omaha (Neb.) Millard South standout visited Alabama this weekend and the Crimson Tide want him to return for another trip soon. In between all this, Thomalla will be back in Ames this weekend. Advertisement Alabama is Alabama and the Crimson Tide need a quarterback so that's tempting. But Iowa State recruited Thomalla so well. How this plays out down the stretch will be interesting. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH IOWA STATE FANS AT PREMER WATCH IN LAWRENCE There has been a serious influx of tight end talent from small-town Kansas the last two recruiting cycles. Last time, four-star Linkon Cure from Goodland chose Kansas State over Oregon and others. This recruiting class, Ian Premer from Great Bend (population 14,000) has Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, Michigan and Notre Dame as his favorites. Advertisement The talk, though, is that Iowa State has a slight edge over Kansas right now. This will be a crucial weekend for the Jayhawks to turn that tide ever-so-slightly in their favor to keep the talented 6-foot-5 225-pound tight end home. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH KANSAS FANS AT BENTLEY BACK AT OKLAHOMA A better understanding of where everything stands with four-star quarterback Bowe Bentley should occur after this weekend. The Celina, Texas standout was at LSU last weekend and had a fantastic visit with offensive coordinator Joe Sloan and many others. But the word has been that the Sooners hold the edge in his recruitment so it's a big weekend for new offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle and others. The feeling is that Arbuckle wants Bentley in this class so it's a big early test for him in Norman this weekend. Advertisement SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH OKLAHOMA FANS AT MASSIVE WEEKEND IN EUGENE It's been written enough that Oregon has had a tough couple weeks losing quarterback Jonas Williams to USC, five-star quarterback Jared Curtis to Georgia and five-star offensive lineman Jackson Cantwell to Miami. Now is the time for another major recruiting weekend in Eugene where the Ducks could load up. It's a huge list. Five-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson is coming back. Five-star defensive end Richard Wesley, who was committed to the Ducks but backed off since those close to him didn't sign off, will be back and that could be huge. Five-star athlete Brandon Arrington will be there as Texas A&M and others battle for him. Coach Dan Lanning is one of the best and weekend like this are becoming the norm. DUCKWORTH BACK TO SOUTH CAROLINA Last weekend, four-star quarterback Landon Duckworth went to Auburn and got a massive recruiting pitch from coach Hugh Freeze. That could be compelling and the Jackson, Ala., standout didn't seem fazed by having Jackson Arnold and Deuce Knight in the QB room. There appears to be enough NIL money to go around. Advertisement There has been some chatter that South Carolina is once again very much in this recruitment (he was committed to the Gamecocks earlier) but Ole Miss is not going away easily. This is a crucial weekend for coach Shane Beamer and his staff. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH SOUTH CAROLINA FANS AT BIG DOGS HEAD TO AUSTIN It's not a massive list but an important group is heading to Texas this weekend and even though there are some long shots, coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff know how to take a big swing. No. 1 running back Ezavier Crowell is coming and even though Alabama will be tough to beat and Georgia is pushing, Texas has always been held high by him. Texas A&M and LSU lead for five-star OL/DL Lamar Brown so it's crucial to get him in Austin and see what they can do. Four-star edge rusher Jamarion Carlton is a big visitor along with four-star cornerback Davon Benjamin among others. Advertisement SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH TEXAS FANS AT BIG OPPORTUNITY AT TEXAS A&M It's a huge weekend at Texas A&M with a ton of opportunities to woo recruits. Fresh off working out at Ole Miss, five-star LSU receiver commit Tristen Keys will be in College Station. So will four-star nickel Bralan Womack, four-star offensive lineman John Turntine, Tank Jones, Tank King and many others. Some big targets - like five-star Lamar Brown - are visiting elsewhere but the Aggies have a huge opportunity this weekend with so many big names. Coach Mike Elko and his staff appear to be on the verge of really turning this thing around. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH TEXAS A&M FANS AT

Recruiting Rumor Mill: Latest intel on dozens of top prospects
The first weekend of official visits was so massive that a second Recruiting Rumor Mill was definitely needed and this is the biggest one yet from Rivals national recruiting director Adam Gorney. RECRUITING RUMOR MILL: June kicks off with a bang | Baltimore | Detroit NEW RIVALS250 RELEASED: Ranking | Top storylines | Ten prospects who could rise with a big June MORE: Baylor QB commit Quinn Murphy talks major new offer Advertisement CLASS OF 2026 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State CLASS OF 2027 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State TRANSFER PORTAL: Full coverage | Player ranking | Team ranking | Transfer search | Transfer Tracker RIVALS CAMP SERIES: Rivals Five-Star heading back to Indy | Rivals Five-Star roster | Schedule/info What stood out most to Bach during his Kansas visit over the weekend was all the development being done to the program, that every facility is brand-new and the message from the coaches being that the tight end room is older so he can step in and have a big, early opportunity. Kansas State might have the slightest edge but Kansas and TCU round out his top three. Michigan, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M and Penn State are the four finalists for Barney, who commits on July 5, and the word has been that the Aggies are the front-runner. But the Erie, Pa., native, who's now playing in Carrollton, Ga., had a great visit to Penn State recently and his weekend trip to Georgia Tech couldn't have been better. Advertisement The comfort level he has 'every single time' he's there and the message that he's needed in that program resonated. Georgia Tech has emerged as the front-runner for the high three-star QB from Lafayette (La.) St. Thomas More, especially after a great weekend visit. But Colorado just offered after he threw for that coaching staff and he's going to FAU this weekend. Oklahoma State and UCLA are getting involved. The Yellow Jackets lead but now there's more competition. Bywater 'can't say enough good things' about his weekend visit to Utah as the Utes are going to be very tough to beat in his recruitment, especially after this visit. The three-star defensive end from Salt Lake City (Utah) Olympus loved the attention to detail on everything and how the coaching staff has treated him throughout the recruiting process. Advertisement Boise State and BYU are the other contenders but the Utes are in front. A battle between Florida and Georgia is raging for the high three-star offensive tackle from St. Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood. 'Really everything' stood out to Campbell during his trip to Athens as the Bulldogs are now 'extremely high' in his recruitment, especially since the coaching staff made it clear that he's a top priority along the offensive line. A classic SEC East battle is brewing here. After early overtures from Georgia have tailed off, Carbin is focused on others and Mississippi State could be the team to watch. The high three-star edge rusher from Powder Springs (Ga.) Hillgrove was in Starkville over the weekend and loves coach Jeff Lebby and the attention he's getting from him. He believes the Bulldogs are 'really going to flip this thing around.' Advertisement Georgia Tech, Baylor, Virginia Tech and Louisville are the others to watch but Mississippi State is out front. The four-star receiver from Douglasville (Ga.) Douglas County remains committed to Auburn but Georgia is pushing hard and he had a great visit to Athens over the weekend. The 'detailed way' the coaching staff broke down the development of their receivers and who they produced was a big bonus. The message from position coach James Coley was clear: 'He wants me in that WR room no matter how or when we make it happen.' SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH AUBURN FANS AT A battle between North Carolina and Florida State is raging for the big four-star receiver from Jackson, Ala. Advertisement The Seminoles have been there for a long time but Chapman felt 'like I was at home' during his weekend visit to Chapel Hill and the coaching staff told him he'd see the field as a freshman. A two-team race has emerged. Getting Cotton out of the SEC might be tough with Mississippi State, LSU and Kentucky leading the way for the big four-star receiver from Grenada, Miss., but NC State has legitimately entered the picture here. How the coaching staff made him feel at home in Raleigh was a big deal and they 'turned the tables in a good way' as NC State has now definitely moved into the conversation for him. Indiana, Michigan and Ole Miss have been the mainstays for the 2027 four-star quarterback and the Cheshire (Conn.) Cheshire Academy standout could be looking at an early commitment. However, Oregon now will be under serious consideration. Advertisement The Wolverines could have a tough lead to overcome but after spending time with Oregon OC Will Stein over the weekend, landing an offer and seeing everything the Ducks have in Eugene, they could be under much more serious consideration now. A long list remains for the high four-star cornerback from Fort Mill (S.C.) Catawba Ridge with Duke, South Carolina, Texas, Florida State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Miami, Florida and Alabama. Tennessee will be one to watch as he loves the relationships in Knoxville since they offered during his freshman year. A new offer from Clemson is also one to watch as he wants to visit soon after getting the new offer. Just a few weeks ago, it looked like Ole Miss was by far the team to beat for Duckworth and the Rebels could still win out here but his recruitment has gotten murkier. Advertisement South Carolina is making another major play for the Jackson, Ala., standout who had been committed to the Gamecocks. Auburn has seriously entered the picture, as coach Hugh Freeze had him on campus over the weekend and Duckworth loved it. He also feels having Jackson Arnold and Deuce Knight in the same QB room is a bonus, not a hindrance, to his development. Alabama remains the top program on Edwards' list and second is Oregon. If the Ducks get even more involved in his recruitment things could get interesting with the five-star safety from Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances. Auburn made a significant move for Edwards during his visit over the weekend and he has a connection with a bunch of people in the building, but it would be a surprise if the Tigers overtook Alabama right now. Big visits remain to Notre Dame, Georgia and Penn State before Fogle makes his decision but a weekend trip to LSU has the high three-star tight end from Lexington, Ohio, thinking a whole lot. Advertisement He loves how the coaches and staff are locked in. He feels like a major priority in Baton Rouge and the attention to detail in everything LSU does impressed his family. The 2027 four-star cornerback from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy loved his time at Texas and landed an offer from the Longhorns but he needs to keep building his relationship with the staff if the Longhorns are going to join his lengthy list of favorites. Georgia, Washington, Tennessee, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oregon and Texas A&M are among the leaders. Ohio State might be too tough to overcome as the Buckeyes have had the lead in his recruitment but LSU definitely has Geralds thinking a lot after his weekend visit to Baton Rouge. Advertisement The four-star defensive tackle, who's playing at Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill, lived there for a good portion of his life. He's familiar with the program and its history so the temptation to return to Baton Rouge and help deliver another national championship is more than tempting. South Carolina and Alabama have emerged as the two early favorites but Georgia, Tennessee and a host of others will be involved. USC is now in the mix for the Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson standout as he had the best private workout with those coaches than anywhere else. The Trojans are a 'top of the top contender' for him and only time will determine if USC can keep up that momentum over many SEC standouts. Alabama is the front-runner for the former USC four-star linebacker commit and the Crimson Tide could be really tough to beat since he's a legacy there. Ohio State really made a major impression over the weekend though. Advertisement Being coached by 'one of the best linebackers to ever wear the scarlet and gray' in James Laurinitis and being under new defensive coordinator Matt Patricia and his NFL experience has given him 'a lot to think about.' Others will be involved on the fringe but the 2027 four-star defensive lineman from Inglewood, Calif., has USC and Oregon as his two front-runners. Harmon lives so close to the USC campus that he can walk there. His weekend trip to Eugene could not have gone better as he loves the intensity there. The Trojans and Ducks look as if they will battle it out until decision day. Cal is involved and Harris spent a few days at Texas A&M this week but the word is that Arizona is the No. 1 team on his list following his weekend visit. Advertisement The Wildcats have made a major impression on the new Chandler (Ariz.) Compass Prep four-star defensive tackle and now that he's playing in Arizona, the Wildcats could only solidify their lead. Georgia continues to surge ahead in Helton's recruitment and after another great visit there this weekend where he loved the 'championship mindset' in everything they do, the Bulldogs are clearly a main contender in his recruitment. Alabama is also up there (he was once committed to the Crimson Tide) and now Georgia Tech is also making a serious play for the four-star interior OL from Carrollton, Ga. The 2027 four-star linebacker from Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit admits that it's still early in his recruitment but a visit to Tennessee this weekend definitely made an impression. The pitch was that if he wants to excel in the SEC then Knoxville is the place to be. Advertisement Miami is another one of his top contenders. LSU, Ohio State, Florida, Florida State, Alabama and USC are also high. A lot is happening in Jackson's recruitment following his decommitment from Florida as the Gators are working to get him back. Miami is trying to keep him in-state, Oregon wowed him on his visit and Nebraska is considered a dark horse. Enter LSU as the Orlando (Fla.) First Academy four-star corner loved the energy around the program and the history at defensive back. The word is LSU is 'one of the top contenders' for him. The four-star defensive back from Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin remains committed to Michigan and the thinking has been if a flip comes it would be to Florida since the Gators have made him a priority and he could reunite with former five-star teammate Hylton Stubbs among others. Advertisement But Miami made a big impression over the weekend as he spent a ton of time with coach Mario Cristobal and loves the track record of position coaches Zac Etheridge and Will Harris. The Hurricanes aren't going anywhere in this recruitment. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH MICHIGAN FANS AT Florida and Miami, among others, are battling it out for the four-star from Brunswick, Ga., but it would be a surprise if the Gators didn't lead in this recruitment right now. Kent loved 'everything' about his recent trip to Gainesville even though he's been there multiple times and he remains a top priority for that coaching staff. A couple days after visiting TCU and having a great trip with the Horned Frogs, King announced he would commit on July 4. The four-star cornerback from Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial loves how invested everyone is at TCU and coach Sonny Dykes was pouring it on King this weekend, which really left an impression. Advertisement Arkansas and Houston are the others to watch ahead of his decision. It could be a 'tight-knit race' for the four-star linebacker out of Marietta (Ga.) Kell but Tennessee has been the front-runner for some time in his recruitment. Rouse was at Alabama over the weekend and he loved seeing the process that the incoming freshmen have to go through, but the Vols still seem like they have a considerable lead. Did Ohio State just make a significant move in Sutter's recruitment? Alabama has been considered the front-runner and could still be tough to beat but the four-star tight end from Dunlap, Ill., absolutely loved spending time with position coach Keenan Bailey and seeing how he develops tight ends and puts them in the NFL. Advertisement After his visit to Columbus, the word is Ohio State is definitely one of his top teams. Michigan, Miami and Vanderbilt are among the other favorites for Stewart but it seems like things have drastically changed after his Clemson visit. 'From the second' he stepped on campus, the College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy four-star could feel how the place was different and the messages he got from coach Dabo Swinney and others throughout the weekend made a serious impact on him. The Tigers could be moving up really fast. As soon as White got to Auburn over the weekend, he had a one-on-one visit with defensive coordinator DJ Durkin and that left a big impression on the four-star linebacker from Jackson (Miss.) Jackson Academy. Advertisement After this trip, Auburn is clearly one of the top programs, if not the team to beat. Other trips will happen and Florida State, Tennessee, Mississippi State, North Carolina and others are involved. Auburn, Ole Miss, Miami and Florida are battling among the top programs for Wilson but Alabama has been the team to beat and remains so after another great visit to Tuscaloosa. What stood out most to the four-star defensive end from Picayune, Miss., was how the coaching staff treated his whole family and didn't try to sell him on 'NIL or flashy things.' All those other favorites will get trips but the Crimson Tide are in front.

Three Predictions: Brayden Parks, Ohio State, Alabama
Rivals national recruiting analyst Greg Smith has predictions on a Rivals250 defensive tackle earning his fifth star, Ohio State landing a top offensive target and Alabama zeroing in on a Midwest quarterback. MORE MIDWEST: Rumor Mill | Wisconsin making a push with four-star EDGE McHale Blade NEW RIVALS250 RELEASED: Ranking | Top storylines | Ten prospects who could rise with a big June CLASS OF 2026 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State CLASS OF 2027 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State TRANSFER PORTAL: Full coverage | Player ranking | Team ranking | Transfer search | Transfer Tracker RIVALS CAMP SERIES: Rivals Five-Star heading back to Indy | Rivals Five-Star roster | Schedule/info BRAYDEN PARKS BECOMES A FIVE-STAR Even though Parks is already a top-150 prospect in the 2027 Rivals250 he is still on the rise. He just wrapped up a visit to Oregon where he camped and has the Ducks coaches impressed with him. He'll visit Notre Dame and Ohio State next. Advertisement His teammate, wide receiver Quentin Burrell, is also generating five-star buzz. It's tough for an interior defensive lineman to reach that status but if someone can do it, it'll be the 6-foot-3, 305-pounder out of Chicago. His blend of size, speed and power makes him a major force along the line. His recruitment is just heating up and will be hotly contested. FAVOUR AKIH JOINS THE BUCKEYES' CLASS AFTER HIS VISIT The long-awaited official visit to Ohio State is happening this weekend for the four-star running back from Ohio. Akih's recruitment has gotten quieter after a huge winter but he's one of the best backs in the country this cycle. Once Ohio State turned up the heat it became very difficult for Miami and others to continue pushing for his pledge. Advertisement After his visit back to Columbus this weekend, I'm predicting that he'll officially join the Buckeyes' 2026 class, which is in the hunt for the No. 1 ranking once again. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH OHIO STATE FANS AT ALABAMA SIGNS A QUARTERBACK FROM THE MIDWEST One of the more underrated storylines of this recruiting cycle has been Alabama quarterback recruiting. Previously under coach Nick Saban there was never a question if they'd get a top prospect. Coach Kalen DeBoer kept that rolling by landing last cycle's No. 1 player, Keelon Russell. It's incredibly hard to follow that up with another top prospect so the Tide staff has taken its time with a deep evaluation. Advertisement Now it looks like Alabama is strongly in the mix for a pair of signal-callers from the Midwest. Ohio's Matt Ponatoski and Nebraska's Jett Thomalla are both atop the board for Alabama's staff. Thomalla took an unofficial visit the weekend of May 30 and Ponatoski will take an official visit the weekend of June 6. I believe the Tide will either flip Thomalla from Iowa State or nab the dual-sport athlete Ponatoski, who also stars on the baseball diamond. Both players have enormous potential with some coaching by a noted QB guru in DeBoer. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH ALABAMA FANS AT

Tuesdays with Gorney: Ten biggest pledges from the weekend
Fernando Mendoza sits down with Nicole Auerbach to discuss his decision to transfer to Indiana and play for coach Curt Cignetti, competing alongside his brother and fellow QB, Alberto, and his proud Cuban ancestry. There were 33 Power Four commitments on Saturday and Sunday as the wildly busy month of June kicked off, with many more trickling in Monday as players returned home from visits. In today's Tuesdays With Gorney, Rivals national recruiting director Adam Gorney highlights 10 of the most important pledges over the weekend. RECRUITING RUMOR MILL: June kicks off with a bang | Baltimore | Detroit NEW RIVALS250 RELEASED: Ranking | Top storylines | Ten prospects who could rise with a big June CLASS OF 2026 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State CLASS OF 2027 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State TRANSFER PORTAL: Full coverage | Player ranking | Team ranking | Transfer search | Transfer Tracker RIVALS CAMP SERIES: Rivals Five-Star heading back to Indy | Rivals Five-Star roster | Schedule/info Only a few months ago at the Rivals Camp Series stop in Los Angeles, Benjamin had Arkansas, Nebraska and Utah as his three front-runners with Oklahoma State also in the mix. Nary a word was mentioned about Minnesota. But the Golden Gophers do great with players like Benjamin – huge offensive linemen who can use some tweaking and some weight on them to become even better players. At 6-foot-8 and 314 pounds, the three-star offensive lineman from Lehi (Utah) Skyridge is filled with potential that could be tapped within the Minnesota program. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH MINNESOTA FANS AT A few weeks ago at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, Carr told Rivals national recruiting analyst John Garcia Jr. that he wanted to take his recruitment to December and that he wasn't in a rush to make a decision. Over the weekend, he committed to Florida on his opening official visit of the month as the Gators beat out Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Colorado and many others. It could get interesting if Carr decides to take his other trips but the Gators landed a powerful interior offensive lineman who will help in Gainesville. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH FLORIDA FANS AT 1ST AND TEN FLORIDA A few months ago, USC had become a contender for Day after it offered the four-star safety from Las Vegas (Nev.) Faith Lutheran. Arizona, Iowa, Texas A&M and many others were involved but Washington emerged as the main contender prior to his visit. There was some chatter that if things went well in Seattle, he would commit and that's exactly what happened. Day could be one of the next big defensive backs in a long line that have played for the Huskies. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH WASHINGTON FANS AT The Pennsylvania state rankings are loaded at the top with elite offensive linemen but Duell should not be overlooked as the four-star from West Chester (Pa.) West Chester East committed to Rutgers over Cincinnati, Kentucky, Pittsburgh and others over the weekend. At 6-foot-6 and 290 pounds, Duell can push people around and he also has great athleticism to get to the second level. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH RUTGERS FANS AT Arizona State was a major early contender but Cal continued to pursue the Murrieta (Calif.) Murrieta Valley high three-star offensive lineman and his connection to position coach Famika Anae was a big selling point in his weekend commitment to the Golden Bears. Faamatuaniu stepped up his game in a big way at the recent Rivals Camp Series in Los Angeles and he has position versatility so he can be used all over in Berkeley. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH CAL FANS AT Fresh off a visit to Auburn that went really well and with Oregon, Arizona and UNLV making a serious push for the versatile high three-star offensive tackle from Las Vegas (Nev.) Clark, Harris committed to Washington during his weekend trip. The Huskies were always in the forefront of his recruitment but it was expected he might take more visits before deciding. Harris is massive at 6-foot-7 and 320 pounds, but it wouldn't be a shock if he played inside. His brother, Lawson, plays at Georgia. His father and two uncles played for Georgia. It always felt inevitable that the four-star defensive end from Norcross, Ga., would end up playing for the Bulldogs and his commitment happened over the weekend on yet another trip to Athens. Luckie was just on campus for the recent Scavenger Hunt and his relationship with position coach Tray Scott was big as well. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH GEORGIA FANS AT Despite being from Norman (Okla.) North, Oklahoma never offered McMorris as the long-time Minnesota lean picked the Golden Gophers over Oregon State, Tulsa, Kansas State and Iowa State over the weekend. There are some traits here that we love as McMorris is 6-foot-6 and 270 pounds so he's not completely filled out yet, plus he has really long arms. All that should bode well in the coming years. His father played at Maryland and his brother went to Duke but neither program ended up offering the high three-star offensive lineman from Leland (N.C.) North Brunswick. That is to Rutgers' gain as his relationship with the coaching staff there played a huge role in his commitment as the Scarlet Knights loaded up over the weekend with six pledges. A couple weeks ago at the Long Beach Millikan Tournament of Champions, Tavizon was not hiding his favorites: Oregon was the front-runner and the Ducks would be tough to beat and then there was also serious interest in USC. But the 2027 four-star from San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln was always leaning toward the Ducks and on his weekend visit, he committed. As an edge rusher or a linebacker, Tavizon brings a ton of versatility to that defense. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH OREGON FANS AT

Luckie was just on campus for the recent Scavenger Hunt and his relationship with position coach Tray Scott was big as well. North, Oklahoma never offered McMorris as the long-time Minnesota lean picked the Golden Gophers over Oregon State, Tulsa, Kansas State and Iowa State over the weekend. There are some traits here that we love as McMorris is 6-foot-6 and 270 pounds so he's not completely filled out yet, plus he has really long arms. All that should bode well in the coming years. TYRELL SIMPSON - Rutgers His father played at Maryland and his brother went to Duke but neither program ended up offering the high three-star offensive lineman from Leland (N.C.) North Brunswick. That is to Rutgers' gain as his relationship with the coaching staff there played a huge role in his commitment as the Scarlet Knights loaded up over the weekend with six pledges.
