(Andreas Gora/dpa via AP) WOLFSBURG, Germany (AP) — Wolfsburg has fired Ralph Hasenhüttl as coach two games before the end of the season after eight matches without a win in the Bundesliga. The Volkswagen-backed club said late Sunday that Hasenhüttl was 'relieved of his duties as Wolves head coach with immediate effect' along with assistant coaches Craig Fleming and Patrick Hasenhüttl, and others. Advertisement 'Results and developments in recent months have led us to the decision to act now," Wolfsburg CEO Peter Christiansen said. Hasenhüttl's last game was Wolfsburg's 4-0 defeat at Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. Daniel Bauer, who was previously in charge of Wolfsburg's Under-19s, is taking charge for the last two games against Hoffenheim and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
