Five Reasons To Choose The Ram 1500 RHO (Even Though The Hemi Is Back)
2025 Ram 1500 RHO Last year, the Ram 1500 RHO debuted with the High Output version of the new 3.0-liter twin-turbo Hurricane engine, good for 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. While Ram insisted the RHO was a distinct model for a different audience than the outgoing TRX, many saw is as the T-Rex's successor. That's where things got a little muddy. See, the Ram 1500 TRX was a beast, powered by a supercharged Hemi 6.2-liter V8. The throaty Hellcat engine produced 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque in the 2024 TRX model and was generally hailed as a monster machine. Some folks were disappointed by the announcement of the RHO, which seemed to be 'underpowered' compared to the TRX. However, what they didn't know is that the RHO is incredibly capable on- and off-road, and it has a few new tricks of its own. 2025 Ram 1500 RHO 1. The RHO Is As Comfortable As A Plush SUV In October of 2024, my teammate Jill Ciminillo and I were the first journalists to drive the Ram 1500 RHO. It wasn't your ordinary test drive, either: we drove the RHO for two weeks straight to participate in the grueling Rebelle Rally out in the deserts of California and Nevada. This year, I had time to put it through its paces during an ordinary week with my family to baseball games, grocery shopping, and running errands. I already knew it could perform admirably, but it's also a comfortable vehicle for everyday life. The seats are plush and they're also heated and ventilated. Materials are upscale but tough, so kids can do their worst and this cabin is not going to wilt under stress. And the suspension absorbs all of the speed bumps and potholes your neighborhood can throw at it. When it's off-road, it's even better. "The truck is more tossable,' Doug Killian, Chief Vehicle Synthesis Manager for Ram, told Popular Science in 2024. 'It's easier to set up into a drift. The turn in is quicker, allowing for transitions faster on a dirt track. It's more fun in those environments because it's easier to get sideways.' Ram 1500 RHO 2. The Infotainment System Is Tops Stellantis, Ram's parent company, put together an excellent infotainment system it calls UConnect, and it has held a spot in my Top 3 list since the 1500's redesign several years ago. Featuring a 12- inch touchscreen or an optional 14.5-inch reconfigurable touchscreen display with split-screen capability, the usability is excellent. Plus, I'm a huge fan of the volume-adjusting or station-changing toggle switches snugged just behind the space where your fingers rest behind the steering wheel. That means I can adjust the music in a variety of ways without taking my eyes off the road. Ram 1500 RHO 3. A Truck With Massaging Seats? Yes, Please Driving gets tiring, whether you're driving a few kids around, shuttling the Sheepadoodle to the vet, or barreling down a dirt desert road. In the case of your latter, your body is taking a lot of punishment even if you have the best shocks in the world. What's nice about the RHO is that it has massaging seats, and all you have to do is press a button on the door panel. Ram 1500 RHO pedal adjusters 4. Adjustable Pedals And Tons of Leg Room My mom is five feel tall, as is my Rebelle Rally teammate Jill. Ram made it easier for them to drive a big truck like this with an ingenious amenity: pedal adjustment capability. Instead of having to set up the seat way down into the cabin to reach the accelerator and brake pedals, the driver can put a button and get a lot more comfortable with the reach. It's safer, too, and more accessible for all sizes. Ram 1500 RHO door pockets 5. Blissfully Generous Small Storage Space Of course, the Ram 1500 RHO has a large bed for hauling, and it can be fitted with any number of accessories like toolboxes, shelves, and more. Inside the cabin, the RHO also boasts a giant console that is cavernous enough to hold a purse, a laptop, or a combination of snacks. Plus, the door pockets are large enough to hold a Yeti or Stanley water bottle plus a Venti cup of coffee from Starbucks without squishing them in there. Overall, unless you really feel like you need a V8 in your life, the Ram 1500 RHO costs several thousand dollars less than the TRX and checks the boxes across the board for a livable, comfortable, well-equipped truck.

Ford F-150 Raptor vs Ram 1500 RHO: Super Truck Shootout
Both of these trucks have (or had) monstrous supercharged V8 versions, but we're taking a close look at the turbocharged 6-cylinder powertrains. One outguns the other. We live in a time where ridiculously powerful off-road pickup trucks are faster than many sports cars from a decade ago. These trucks are built to withstand serious abuse on almost any terrain and demand more, while also being driven daily and coddling the occupants in high-tech comfort. At the very top of the heap, the Ford F-150 Raptor (which started the recent trend) and Ram 1500 RHO (a more refined/less powerful Ram TRX) jockey for top billing. The Ford F-150 Raptor R is a different animal, and still leads the herd – but it's not as comfortable as the F-150 Raptor with the twin-turbo V6. It competes against the Ram RHO, which also has a twin-turbo I6, and they're so closely matched that it's difficult to judge each vehicle based on features; it has to be down to the brass tacks: performance. I've taken both trucks off-road, and I've driven both as commuters, and one edges out the other. 2025 Ford F-150 Raptor – $78,540 MSRP Ford F-150 Raptor Like the Raptor R, I am also excluding the Raptor 37 option, which not only comes with larger 37-inch tires but also has upgraded underpinnings, making it a substantially more expensive vehicle. I'm spotlighting the 'base model' F-150 Raptor, which comes with 35-inch BFG KO2 tires and a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, which makes 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. Paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission, all F-150 Raptors are 4x4s, can tow up to 8,200 lbs, and have a maximum payload of 1,400 lbs. EPA estimated numbers for the Raptor V6 show 14 mpg city and 18 mpg highway. Internally, the Raptor has seen some welcome upgrades promoting better tech, more comfort, and good ergonomics. The F-150 Raptor features a 12-inch digital instrument screen and a 12-inch touchscreen with the SYNC 4 infotainment system, which is a huge upgrade over the previous model, but it can be a bit finicky from time to time. While it has standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, it kicked me off the system a few times. 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor Autoblog Newsletter Autoblog brings you car news; expert reviews and exciting pictures and video. Driving the 2025 Ford F-150 Raptor on and off-road Ford managed to build a pickup that feels precise in just about any environment it drives on or through. It has an augmented engine note, which isn't obnoxious, and it amplifies the driving excitement for many. Power is quick on tap, but there is a bit of a lag. It's most notable when you're pushing on/off throttle during slow-going off-road obstacles; otherwise, it's always on full boil, and the thing flies. The F-150 Raptor comes with seven selectable drive modes: Normal, Sport, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Off-Road, Baja, and Rock Crawl. The Raptor's standard suspension consists of Fox Racing sport-tuned shock absorbers with Live Valve Technology. Upgraded suspension systems are available and standard on higher trims. Ford retains the front coil and rear leaf spring setup, but the ride never feels compromised. Ford F-150 Raptor Roush SVT Thanks to many aluminum body components, the Raptor's approximate 5,700-lb weight is fairly impressive. It's light on its toes on and off-road. In fact, its easy-to-toss-about nature is one of its greatest attributes. Compared to many beefy trucks, the base model F-150 Raptor dances. Still, one of my biggest gripes is its artificial-feeling steering setup; it doesn't feel that connected to me. Yes, it's not perfect, but no one can deny how amazing it is on any terrain. 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor 2025 Ram 1500 RHO – $69,995 MSRP 2025 Ram 1500 RHO The Ram 1500 RHO is more than a TRX without a HEMI V8. Ram did its homework and made major improvements in its suspension, driving dynamics, and tech. The end result is a better truck in almost every measurable way. It still has an 8-speed automatic transmission, and 4×4 comes standard, but it also comes with a new twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six that makes 540 hp and 521 lb-ft of torque. Yes, those numbers are higher than the Raptor's, but much lower than the TRX's. Still, this is a more efficient powertrain that's lighter and easier to drive as a daily. The RHO has an 8,380 max towing rating and a 1,520 max payload rating. It's EPA-rated at 14 mpg city and 16 mpg highway. Ram's RHO comes standard with a 14.5-inch touchscreen display and a 12-inch digital cluster display, while a 10.25-inch front passenger touchscreen is available as an option. Seating, cockpit design, and overall ergonomics are a step ahead of the Ford, although some find the controls to be cluttered. Material quality is the best in class, and you get a lot of tech for the buck. Still, I found controlling the audio (yes, it has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) to be a pain, especially jumping between XM and my iPhone. 2025 Ram 1500 RHO — Source: Ram Driving the Ram 1500 RHO on and off-road With coil-springs and air suspension backed up by Bilstein BlackHawk e2 adaptive performance dampers, it's hard to find fault in Ram's choice here. It is not only much better than the TRX it's based on, but it also outguns just about everyone as an all-around suspension system. There are nine drive modes: Mud/Sand, Rock, Baja, Valet, Auto, Tow, Snow, Sport, and Custom. While the RHO is significantly heavier (between 6,200 – 6,700 lbs) than the base Raptor, it feels slightly less tossable and thirstier than the Raptor. With that being said, it is planted and very easy to control on every terrain, thanks to better steering. 2025 Ram 1500 RHO While both trucks are as wide as Heavy Duty trucks, the Ram's girth seemed easier for me to visualize when I drove through the drive-through bank teller. The cameras, sightlines, and outward vision all seemed slightly better than the Raptor's. High-speed cornering in both is ill-advised on concrete, but the Ram 1500 RHO seems slightly more planted, while the Raptor has less bulk to shift. I found that the RHO feels far less ponderous off-road than the old TRX, and it makes for a better vehicle for climbing, shooting dunes, and blasting trails. It's so easy to make it go where you want with confidence. On the street, that feeling of easy-to-control mass makes for a fun commuter. With that being said, the turbo has more noticeable lag, and its engine sound, along with its dreadful exhaust note, sounds industrial. It's the only thing that makes me long for the TRX's musical swagger. 2025 Ram 1500 RHO — Source: Ram Final thoughts Both of these trucks look super cool with their overexaggerated fenders, lifted suspensions, and beefy tires. The Ford F-150 Raptor is more efficient, and the consumer has a ton of choices for upgrades, but the Ram 1500 RHO is far less expensive, tows more, hauls more, and is more rewarding to drive, with the exception of the engine noise. Choosing between the two wasn't easy, but I think the Ram 1500 RHO is the winner here, especially given what you get for your dough.

I Test Drove the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO: Here's the Real Verdict
As off-road capable as the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is, most people will buy it as a daily driver, along with being a weekend toy. Is that a good idea? A truck for work and for fun Trucks with ludicrous power in today's market are not a new thing. Between the Ford Raptor and the Dodge Ram 1500 TRX, automakers are more than happy to give us the ability to both haul stuff and take on muscle cars at the stoplight. I spent a week with one such truck, the Ram 1500 RHO, around Southern California. This is after sampling a few in the mountains in the past and getting to know its off-road chops. By driving it as a daily, I got a chance to see it in its regular habitat – commuting. Sorry to say to many who love the image of a super-macho truck in the backwoods and on challenging trails, but most of you will be pounding a lot of pavement as well. Fortunately, this truck is surprisingly well sorted for daily driving, as long as you can allow yourself space for compromise. 0:04 / 0:09 2025 Nissan Z undercuts Toyota Supra by a surprising amount Watch More What is the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO? For one thing, Ram is coy about the actual meaning of 'RHO.' To some, it means 'Ram High Output,' 'Really High Output,' or 'Rebel High Output.' Others believe it's a hidden acronym related to a rhinoceros, as one is depicted in the graphics. I think it means 'Removed (the) Hemi Overture,' as in it doesn't sound as glorious as the former TRX it's based on, because the massive, supercharged Hemi is no longer present. While it does drop the intoxicating noise, some swagger, and has lower power numbers, the Ram 1500 RHO more than makes up for it. The only powertrain available is a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine that produces 540 hp and 521 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive (4WD) system that's always engaged. The EPA rates this beast of a truck at 15 mpg city and 16 mpg highway. While that's a bit eye-watering, it's better than the TRX, which was about 3 mpg lower. 2025 Ram 1500 RHO For those who don't want to be yelled at for unleashing a sonic roar, the RHO is the way to go. It sounds almost industrial by comparison and will not bother many of its neighbors. It is, pretty much, a TRX with a heart transplant, but it doesn't drive the same. With an approximately 240-lbs lighter nose, upgraded suspension, and sharper tuning, the Ram 1500 RHO is a different beast altogether. Thanks to those weight savings and updated tuning, it can tow up to 8,380 pounds and haul up to 1,520 pounds, which are slight increases over the TRX. You may unsubscribe from email communication at anytime. 2025 Ram 1500 RHO In my opinion, the unsung heroes are the Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive dampers, new mounting points, and a completely revised suspension system. Not only is it much easier to drive daily thanks to its better body control and maneuverability, but it also gains an impressive 13 inches of front wheel travel and 14 inches at the rear. The 4WD system will mitigate wheel slippage under most driving conditions, and there are various on and off-road drive modes that make the most out of the traction control system as well. If things become challenging, locking up the rear diff is a snap. 2025 Ram 1500 RHO Driving the Ram 1500 RHO in the city I have to say, even compared to the F-150 Raptor and Raptor R, the Ram 1500 RHO is one of the most compliant, easy-to-drive super-trucks available. It's still ridiculously wide and taller than many heavy-duty pickups, but it is a better driver on the streets. It is slightly more powerful than the regular turbocharged Raptor, but not as quick as the Raptor R, with a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.6 seconds that I wholeheartedly believe. 2025 Ram 1500 RHO It launches fast, and there is a bit of turbo lag if you don't rev it up first. It's not as brutal as the TRX when launched, and I suspect passing power is on par with the TRX as well. Once the high-output I6 spools up, it flies. Handling and steering are best in class, and I was just as surprised as you are to witness that. The brakes are a bit spongy, then clamp hard, which takes time to get used to. Some feel the interior design looks cluttered, but I feel it's the best in class for comfort, design, and quality. I'm not a huge fan of the 14.5-inch vertical touchscreen, but the 12.3-inch cluster works quite well. The head-up display could be better, as it is low and kind of dim. The stereo, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are quite good, and the interior is very quiet for this (or any) class of pickup truck. 2025 Ram 1500 RHO Final thoughts My only complaint is the plethora of bells and chimes that yell at you as you drive and park, but that can always be addressed in a later update. Some are defeatable, but others are not. It's annoying and makes me not want to trust what the beeping is about after a while. Still, other than my lamenting the swagger of the V8, there's little else to complain about. It does so much so well that it's hard to dislike its issues. Also, with a base price of about $70,000, it's a bit of a bargain in this class.

The Ram 1500 RHO Is An Amazing Everyday Supertruck: Review
Quick Specs 2025 Ram 1500 RHO Engine Twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Inline-Six Transmission Eight-Speed Automatic Output 540 Horsepower / 521 Pound-Feet Efficiency 14 City / 16 Highway / 15 Combined As Tested Price $88,100 Pros: Fast & Smooth, Rugged & Refined, Rides Like Buttered Memory Foam Cons: Turbo Lag, Busy Interior, Poor Exhaust Tuning Ram 1500 RHO: Don't Call It A TRX Lite Photo by: Christopher Smith / Motor1 Let's clear the air. The Ram 1500 RHO is not a TRX. Yes, it looks largely the same, and it has the same bonkers jump-happy suspension, but the high-output, twin-turbocharged inline-six engine fused with the long-travel suspension gives this truck a personality all its own. This is no TRX replacement, either. That truck with its Hemi Hellcat engine wanted to party all day and do keg stands every night. Meanwhile, the RHO is like a rock star out of rehab, trying to build a better life on the straight and narrow. Both trucks enjoy getting wild, but the RHO will take better care of you in the long run, so long as its demons are kept at bay. Engine, Drivetrain, Horsepower: No Hemi? No Problem Photo by: Christopher Smith / Motor1 Everyone knows about the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six engine by now. It makes 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque in the RHO—identical to other Ram 1500 trims that offer the high-output I-6. It certainly doesn't sound like the Hellcat-powered TRX, and with 162 fewer hp, it doesn't go like one either. But the RHO isn't slow by any means. I managed to rip to 60 miles per hour in 5.1 seconds, according to the RHO's onboard Performance Pages. More importantly, I managed to make my 86-year-old mother nauseous from a hard launch. Though to be fair, she does suffer from vertigo. Sorry, Mom. The eight-speed automatic transmission is a silent partner in the background, executing shifts without undue lag or haste. You can engage manual mode by pulling the shift stalk to the left, activating the steering wheel-mounted paddles, which are supremely easy to use. Moreover, the transmission won't automatically upshift if you get carried away on a dusty back road. It sends all power to all four wheels through an electronically managed four-wheel drive system. Interior, Technology, Infotainment: Everything You Want & More Photo by: Christopher Smith / Motor1 Ram doesn't skimp when it comes to tech in the RHO. You'll find a 12.0-inch portrait-oriented center touchscreen standard, with a 14.4-inch screen optional. No matter which you choose, they're brimming with apps, configurable widgets, and for the speed freaks out there, the RHO gets Performance Pages that track stuff like 60-foot times and quarter-mile speeds. A dedicated passenger display is also optional, but every truck has a 12.3-inch driver display. And yes, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay are included. As you might imagine, the driver and center displays are widely customizable. It's all part of Ram's fifth-generation Uconnect system that manages everything from vehicle settings to navigation, over-the-air updates, and phone connectivity. And while there are all kinds of settings to flip through digitally, Ram still fills the 1500 (RHO included) with buttons and knobs for common-use items. For highway traveling, the RHO is available with Ram's Hands-Free Active Driving Assist. Similar to Ford BlueCruise or GM's SuperCruise, it allows drivers to go hands-free on approved roads. Provided the left lane is clear, manually activating the turn signal will initiate a hands-free pass, and it's pretty intuitive. However, the RHO tended to wander between the lines while driving. And it monitors the driver like a hawk. If my gaze wandered for even a few seconds, the system buzzed and told me to face front. Design: Satisfyingly Bold Photo by: Christopher Smith / Motor1 The RHO could easily pass for a TRX if it didn't have RHO branding on the bed. It has the same wide stance with flared fenders—wide enough to require amber clearance lights mounted in the truck's sizable hood scoop. It bites the ground with 18-inch Goodyear all-terrain tires and a choice of standard aluminum or beadlock-capable wheels. You can only get the RHO as a Crew Cab truck with the short 5-foot 7-inch bed, which fills up surprisingly quickly when you're hauling something as simple as two 54-inch lawn mower decks. All Rams received minor changes for 2025, largely related to revamped lights and slightly resized grilles. The RHO's front and rear fascias are trim-exclusive, and it all combines to exude a properly muscular vibe. Moreover, Ram pulls it off without looking silly or overdone. The truck's proportions are very satisfying, and you can even have the bold RHO branding on the bed removed if you so choose. The tough exterior actually blends well with the RHO's upscale greenhouse. You'll find plenty of leather and soft-touch surfaces amid the digital screens. Alcantara and chrome are scattered about, but the interior is a very busy place. Between the litany of physical control and the pages of settings on the center screen, it can get pretty overwhelming. I still wasn't familiar with everything after a week and hundreds of miles behind the wheel. Managing Editor Jeff Perez felt the same way after his stint in the truck , and I couldn't agree more. Driving Impressions: Awesome Everywhere All At Once Photo by: Christopher Smith / Motor1 With all this in mind, I now present my thesis: The Ram 1500 RHO could be the best half-ton truck on the market right now. The big suspension (13.0 inches of travel in front, 14.0 inches at the rear) absorbs ruts, potholes, bumps, massive potholes, and miles of miserable patchwork on Michigan highways. Everything that works in the dirt makes this an even better daily driver. And I didn't just goof around on some local two-lane roads near my house. The RHO's first mission in my care was a 400-mile round-trip to pick up a new 54-inch mower deck, all done at highway speeds. I wasn't the least bit fatigued after six hours of driving; the RHO's seats were supportive and cozy without being too stiff, and those knobby Goodyear tires weren't nearly as noisy as I expected. Make no mistake, there is some tire noise at speed. But it's not remotely intrusive in the quiet cabin, even hustling along at Michigan's maximum 75-mph speed limit. And if it does become bothersome, it's easily masked by some low-volume music. Just don't play any Guns & Roses. This is a recovering rockstar, after all. Photo by: Christopher Smith / Motor1 Photo by: Christopher Smith / Motor1 The suspension just sucks up everything. I used the Auto drive mode for the journey, which automatically adjusts settings depending on road and driving conditions. It kept the big truck remarkably poised through the sharp 45-mph corners on I-196 leaving Grand Rapids, and an hour later, it conquered broken stretches us US-31 with nary a shudder. As for the engine, the Hurricane is pure butter. It doesn't shake the truck—not at start-up, or idle, or under throttle getting on the highway. It doesn't vibrate or reverberate through the cabin at speed. You don't feel it in the wheel or the floor. It just goes, and if you lay into the throttle, it really goes. I would prefer a bit more low-end power. There's a bit of turbo lag, and it could benefit from better exhaust tuning. It's not bad, but Ram engineers try to make it sound like a deep V-8. The dual exhaust outlets are comically large for a 3.0-liter engine, even one with two turbochargers. When cold, this engine bellows with a noisy rattle that reminds me of a clapped-out 1990s Pontiac Grand Prix with a straight-piped 3800. At least the RHO settles into a decent six-pot rasp when it's warm, but it could be so much better if engineers stop trying to make it sound like a Hemi. Fuel Economy: Don't Ask Photo by: Christopher Smith / Motor1 Losing two cylinders over the TRX doesn't help at the pump. The RHO's official mileage rating is just 15 combined mpg, and after approximately 650 miles (most on the highway) I'm confident in saying that's accurate. I averaged right around 16 mpg during my week with the truck, including just a handful of full-throttle launches. And when it's time to tank up, the high-output engine needs expensive premium fuel. Payload & Towing: An Acceptable Compromise Photo by: Christopher Smith / Motor1 Having a longer bed option would make the RHO a bit more practical for a truck, but you can still do all kinds of truck stuff here. The bed is rated for 1,520 pounds—less than other Ram 1500 trims, but that's the price you pay for a truck that can safely land after jumping three feet in the air. Towing capacity is also a bit less at 8,380 pounds, but that's still plenty for towing a modest boat or a 30-foot camper trailer. Pricing & Verdict: Worth Selling A Kidney For 21 Source: Christopher Smith / Motor1 The Ram 1500 RHO pulls off something I never thought possible. I'm not a truck guy, but I absolutely want this one. It's comfortable to drive anywhere, and with the onboard cameras, it's easy to maneuver. The interior is spacious, more than enough for five adults. It can haul big stuff in the bed and tow bigger stuff with ease. Even the standard version is packed with tech. And when you want to listen to Guns & Roses, the RHO doesn't think twice about ditching rehab for an epic weekend romp. It's also the cheapest way to get the high-output Hurricane in a Ram, with a starting price of $72,090. That's still a truckload of cash, but it's almost $10,000 less than the F-150 Raptor—a truck that has almost 100 fewer hp. And if you peruse dealerships right now, Ram's employee pricing initiative and other incentives have these starting temptingly close to $60,000. Not that I've been checking RHO prices. Well, maybe a little. Competitors: Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Ford F-150 Raptor Toyota Tundra TRD Pro 2025 Ram 1500 RHO FAQs Is the Ram 1500 RHO the same as the TRX? 'Handing keys to nearly 2 million Ram 1500 customers takes a strong team as we start an aggressive product cadence for Ram brand.' The two millionth milestone comes approximately six months after the plant celebrated its 40th anniversary as a Stellantis-owned facility. In 2016, the company announced that SHAP would be converted from a car assembly plant to a truck assembly plant to produce the Ram 1500. In March 2018, the first Ram 1500 rolled off the production line as a 2019 model. Seven years later, the facility reached the 2 million milestone. 'Not that long ago, SHAP's future was in doubt so this is a remarkable accomplishment, and I am so proud of this workforce for their resilience and dedication,' said Chuck Padden, SHAP plant manager. 'We have a lot to look forward to as we start building the Ram 1500 with a range of powertrain options, providing freedom of choice for our customers.' As the primary home for Ram 1500 production, the company recently invested $235.5 million at the suburban Detroit facility to produce the all-new range-extended Ram 1500 Ramcharger, as well as the company's first battery-electric light-duty truck, the Ram 1500 REV. Last year, Stellantis began transitioning to its next generation of products built on its multi-energy platforms engineered to offer a variety of powertrain options, including internal combustion, hybrid and electric. The 2025 Ram 1500 earned the prestigious MotorTrend Truck of the Year award, the seventh time Ram has achieved this recognition.
