My partner died — now I'm sleeping with four men at once

Welcome to How I Do It, the series in which we give you a seven-day sneak peek into the sex life of a stranger. This week we hear from Rayna*, a 40-year-old nutritionist who's partner tragically died in 2022. Rayna has always been part of the fetish community, after being introduced to it at university. In particular, she enjoyed watching group sex. So, when she felt ready to start dating again last year, she joined Feeld, known for being a more sex positive, open-minded dating app. And, Ryna says it 'certainly delivered'. 'I don't care much for monogamy anymore, and my sex drive is unashamedly high,' Rayna explains. 'I have a deep need for sex, but I don't use it to validate myself.' While she identifies as straight, she loves watching men and women have sex, and enjoys group dynamics. Rayna says she's not ready for a romantic connection, but has sex around three times a week. She's currently involved with two single men, as well as two men in open relationships. 'I love that my sex life is active and varied, with regular players who I trust and have a connection with,' she says. Rayna has no desire to have a baby, although marriage is something she could see for herself at some point in the future. Love reading juicy stories like this? Need some tips for how to spice things up in the bedroom? Sign up to The Hook-Up and we'll slide into your inbox every week with all the latest sex and dating stories from Metro. We can't wait for you to join us! Without further ado, here's how Rayna got on this week… The following sex diary is, as you might imagine, not safe for work . This is a non-work day for me, and John* comes over in the afternoon. I get a text before he arrives that says 'be fully dressed and well behaved.' I interpret this as answering the door in high heels and a see-through dress. He immediately pushes me down onto my knees. After he hangs up, we have sex in front of the mirror so we can watch ourselves do doggy style. I've always enjoyed primal positions like this. I had only ever had clitoral orgasms with my late partner, but now, I can climax through penetration. I think the trauma of him dying burned away insecurities I had. The experience taught me that life can be short: just get out of your head and enjoy it. I go for dinner and to see a play with my mum after work. Mark* texts on the way home to arrange our next meet and we chat about BDSM power dynamics. During a session we had recently, he really restricted my pleasure over several hours. He denied me full thrusts, before giving me everything and taking it away again. We discuss ethical non manogamy a lot too, as he has a long-term girlfriend, and I'm very curious. When I began dating after my partner passed, I wanted someone I wouldn't fall in love, as that was something I just wasn't ready for. But I did want someone I could have sex with, and get back on the horse with. I found Mark, who was already dating other people. I realised I didn't care – there was no jealousy, or terrotorial twinge. I discovered I liked hearing about the sex. From there, the separation between sex and an emotional partnership became really clear in my head. I meet Elliot* for a drink for the first time after we matched on Feeld. I get a good vibe from him, and I turn him on at the bar by telling him all about my fun Monday with John. Elliot is in an open relationship, and they enjoy group sex, so I'm hoping we can all have some fun together. I've had threeways with other women before, but not with two men and never a foursome. All things that are now on the horizon. We finish our margaritas and go back to mine. I go down on him in my hallway and then we move to the bedroom, and he returns the favour. I know he'll go home to his partner and tell her all about it, which I find really hot. Today I work from home, then I just go to the gym and relax, before masturbating to some of my home videos. I often film myself have sex – I have so many clips, that I don't even watch porn anymore. While doing so, I message Elliot about how much fun I had last night. I think about what it would be like to have sex with Elliot and John at the same time. I also fantasise about watching John and Elliot doing this with Elliot's girlfriend. The possibility for all this happening, and soon, is high. I have a very intense orgasm and fall into a deep sleep. Fred* is in town (he lives abroad but is often in London for work) and we meet for dinner. I've been edging myself all day on his instructions, and the anticipation really ramps up as we eat. Afterwards, we go back to his hotel, and I strip for him before he spanks me. I'm so turned on, but he makes me beg him for it. It is rough, but he knows my limits. I'm not into extreme pain or degradation, and this is always respected. I'm never pushed further than I want to go. We have sex three times, and in between sessions I post about the hotel in a women's travel Facebook group that I'm a member of. I give a rave review and make a brief, throwaway comment about the fact I am there for a cheeky hook up. The post goes viral with women wanting details of the sex, it's like a feeding frenzy with thousands of comments. It later transpires that the hotel website gets so much traffic that it crashes and is down for two days! Fred says he's going to ask them for a discount next time he stays there. I wake Fred up with a blowjob. I'm a real morning sex person, always have been. I go for lunch with girlfriends and share my raunchy antics which cause a mixture of shock, wicked delight and a touch of concern. I assure them I'm enjoying myself and being safe. It's a perfect girl's lunch, complete with champagne. I perhaps drink more of it than I should and end up showing them all a photo that I took of myself on my bed in black lingerie and heels. Ultimately, they are all really happy to see me having fun and love hearing the juicy details. Mark comes around after I get home from work. I'm told to wait in my bedroom, kneeling on the floor facing the wall. I'm not allowed to turn around. This time, he also brings his partner with him and tells her to come and kneel next to me. We quickly smile at each other in excitement. I'm someone who always likes to be in control, yet in the bedroom, I love to be ordered around. More Trending We give him a blowjob together as he sits in the chair in my bedroom. John likes to regard this chair as 'his', although in reality, it actually belongs to my cat. Then Mark has sex with us both. It's a great, fun end to the weekend and we lie in bed afterwards chatting and joking. There was no feeling of being left out or jealous, even though they were a couple. View More » I cook myself some dinner while enjoying a glass of wine and ponder the logistics of a sixsome, which I'd love. Is that even a word? When does it cross over into orgy territory? I get a really good night's sleep. Do you have a story to share? Plus, you can expect a faster drying time because it's built with HeatForce technology. Your once-white rug can be white again! Promising review:"I rarely leave reviews, but I had to for this one. AMAZING. Lightweight, easy to assemble, store, and use. My Turkish area rug, which is located in a high-traffic area in my home, was so filthy that you could barely see the design anymore. I have a 4- and 9-year-old and a large cat, and the three of them did a number on this rug. I almost gave up on it after being quoted a ridiculous price by a rug-washing company. This machine worked an absolute miracle!!!!! My rug is as good as new. It even removed deep stains that had been there for almost a year and slime that was stuck on the rug. You just have to be patient with it. My only complaint is that you have to keep refilling the solution tank and emptying the dirty water tank a ton of times in the process because they do drain and get full quickly. But it's sooooo worth it. Love this thing and wish I purchased sooner!" — Amazon Customer 2. A 2024 13-inch MacBook Air for $300 off (its lowest price!) with the ultra-fast and ultra-powerful M3 chip. It's surprisingly lightweight and just half an inch thin, so you can tote this to class and the library easily. Promising review:"I use my computer light to moderately for email, social and business-related tasks and wasn't sure the purchase is justified. But instantly, it was *such* an improvement. I didn't realize how slow my other computer had become. For me at least, this feels lightning fast, which saves so much time. I'm not waiting for anything, and the battery life is phenomenal. I've been using it lightly for a few days and have not had to charge it, and it still has more than 50% battery life left. I could travel for a weekend with no charger and be good to go." — Dr. Rayna 3. A high-velocity ionic Shark hair dryer for 20% off if your hair has suffered enough heat damage from previous dryers but you refuse to air dry because you might unleash a frizz monster. This won't cause heat damage to your hair because it never reaches or approaches hair-damaging temperatures. It's designed for wet-to-dry styling, dries super fast, and it won't make your hair frizzy! You'll get different attachments based on your hair texture/SpeedStyle chosen. Promising review:"LOVE IT! My hair holds onto water, even if I squeeze as much out before drying. I used to hate hair-washing days because of the drying process. It would take me almost 40–45 minutes to dry my mid-long hair. It's so much quieter than my older name-brand model. So much lighter, which for someone who is older and starting to have difficulty in holding a drying up in the air for long periods of time. I love the three setting options, but I typically use the 2/2 for the first 10 minutes of drying and then 1/2 for the straightening/drying process. My hair is less frizzy. Honestly, my hair looks so much healthier, softer, silkier. I also use the cool burst at the end. It now takes me about 20 minutes to dry my hair." — Grace 4. A Greenworks combo kit including a mower, blower, and string trimmer for 34% off (the best price it's ever gone for!) that'll help you stay on top of your home's curb appeal this spring and summer. The mower features 7-position height adjustment and a brushless motor. The lightweight blower can be used for up to 20 minutes on a single charge. And last but not least, the string trimmer features a 12-inch cutting path. PSA: Some reviewers have issues with the battery life — one reviewer recommends not leaving this to charge after powering it up to save the battery life, and another reviewer had a good experience with customer service when dealing with swapping out faulty batteries. Promising review:"I have mowed my lawn four times now, and I am impressed with all three items. The mower cuts just as good as any other mower I have owned, but much quieter. It has a large grass bag, which is nice if you bag like I do. The weed eater works great, but I find it awkward to edge with because of the handle. The leaf blower works very well, plenty of power and no issues. I have an average size yard and I have had no issue with battery life, like others have posted. I keep trying to run the batteries down to keep the programmed charge, but have yet totally drain the batteries. I know a lot of people who have bought Egos and after comparing notes with them, my Greenworks is just as good as their more expensive brand. I am thrilled with my purchase." — Clarence Mabbitt 5. A full-size NutriBullet blender for 36% off (which is the cheapest you can get it for!) so you can take advantage of all the amazing spring-y produce for sale at your local farmers' market. Get ready for all the smoothies, soups, sauces, and nut butters you're about to make with this three-speed gadget! You'll get a 1200-watt motor base, a 64-ounce blender pitcher with lid and vented lid cap, a tamper, a 32-ounce cup, a 24-ounce handled cup, two to-go lids, an easy-twist extractor blade, and a recipe book. Promising review:"I bought this to test after my Vitamix broke down and it is absolutely fantastic. Love the smoothie container it comes with. I haven't used it for anything else, but I do make smoothies daily and it blends everything — frozen berries, celery, kale. It's also quieter than most blenders I have tried. Highly recommended." — Pixie 6. The cult-fave Cosrx's snail mucin repairing essence for 36% off that may seem like it would give you the ick, but is totally worth adding to your routine. No snail-like results here: Just pat it in, and you'll be appreciating the moisture boost right away. Reviewers say it helps with acne, inflammation, peeling, fine lines, and more! Promising review:"This product is everything everyone says it is and more. If I could recommend one product that is the key to glass skin, it would be this. It gives an immediate glow, and makes the skin look so supple and healthy. The texture wasn't off-puting for me, but it is a bit slimy and stringy when you first pump out the product. It absorbs pretty quickly and doesn't leave a sticky residue, and it is unscented. Can't say enough good things about this product and the brand. You need this product in your life!" — Sarah Deeb 7. A Furbo pet treat camera for 34% off that'll allow you to keep an eye on your pupper when you're not home. It has 2-way audio so you can tell Spot what a good boy he's being while you have Furbo toss him a treat. It'll even send push notifications to your phone when he's barking. Promising review:"This has been a game-changer for me! Being able to check in on my dog while I'm away gives me such peace of mind. The rotating feature lets me see the whole room, and the night vision is surprisingly clear. I really appreciate the barking alerts—it's nice to know when my pup is getting restless. The two-way speaker is a favorite; I can talk to my dog and even toss him treats from my phone, which he loves! The app is super easy to use, making it simple to keep an eye on him. Overall, this camera has made it so much easier to stay connected with my furry friend when I'm not home. Highly recommend it for any dog owner!" — Amber T White 8. Crest 3D Whitestrips for 35% off — they're about $2 more than they were for Cyber Week, but still an irresistible price if it's time to stock up. They have a no-slip design that'll mold to your teeth and help lighten those coffee and magic potion stains you thought would be there for a life. You'll get enough strips for 22 days of treatment, which should help your teeth get up to 20 levels whiter! It comes with 44 strips total: enough for 20 regular treatments and two one-hour express treatments. Promising review:"I haven't used Crest White Strips in over 5 years. Since then my teeth have stayed really white and I frequently get compliments or questions on how I get my teeth so white. I decided to get a box to boost the whiteness of my teeth. Wow, I was shocked on how much these have improved! Before the strips were really flimsy, hard to remove from the package and were really hard to keep on your teeth — the old ones would slip or bunch up. These are such an improvement! The new strips remove easily from the plastic they are on. The strips are REALLY adhesive! These will not budge! Since I've purchased I have only used about 4 times and I can already notice a difference. Other people have noticed too. I think these are well worth the money and work as good as a professional treatment, I have had friends who have done professional treatments and their teeth are not as white as mine. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants a brighter/whiter smile!" — Vanessa5o5 9. A set of FIVE (!!!) of Blink outdoor security cameras for 50% off so you can watch over your yard with easy-to-install tech that's wire-free and connects with the Blink app on your phone. You get 1080p HD live view, infrared night vision, enhanced motion detection, and crisp two-way audio. Plus, the included AA lithium batteries offer up to two years of battery life! Promising review:"These have been amazing. Really easy to set up, and the app is simple to use. A great option for home security. The video quality is superb and the motion detection can be set to only certain areas in the camera field! Perfect for our home and yard." — Brandon Griffin 10. An 8-in-1 Cuisinart air fryer and toaster oven for up to 39% off because it's got you covered from breakfast (perfectly toasted toast!) to dessert (deliciously baked cookies)! It can also grill, broil, and warm foods. Promising review:"I had a convection oven before but did not use it much because it was smaller than this and it only did convection baking. This new oven does all kinds of cooking, toasting, convection baking, regular baking, air frying, and even grilling. It includes some nice large baskets and a heavy metal grill. This new oven is wider and higher and fits up to 3-pounds of food, including a whole chicken. It is fairly easy to clean. I have not seen rust. I don't get the outside of the oven wet. I like the regular baking feature because it was hard to figure out how long to bake on convection baking. It will fit a loaf pan for quick bread or meatloaf but won't fit a huge dutch oven that I bought. I use a bigger oven for that. It also fits a 12-inch pizza, although I like to cook those individual pizzas. My favorite thing to bake is six muffins from mix. That muffin pan fits great in this oven. The taste is as good as a regular oven, but it uses less energy. It fits nicely on my counter and I sure like having it." — AS 11. A slim, 85-inch Samsung Frame TV for 42% off (its lowest price to date!)— if you don't want to waste wall space on a regular TV, this is a must. You can display classical paintings, photographs, and modern art with the click of a button on the anti-reflective matte screen. This 4K TV offers brilliant colors and bold details. You'll feel like you're actually in The Office. Amazon 12. An Amazon Kindle Scribe for $80 off (its lowest price yet!) — this handy gadget isn't only perfect for reading on the go, but it also serves as a digital notebook! You can journal, sketch, and even import documents and take notes right on your PDFs. Promising review:"I was hesitant to get the Scribe when it was first released, but took the plunge on this recent update and am glad I did. Of course the large screen is wonderful, especially for us older readers. What has really happily surprised me is the notes features. Writing on this is effortless, and the responsiveness is smooth as butter. I also own the latest generation iPad with the new pencil pro, but much prefer the writing experience on the Scribe. To me this is much closer to writing on paper, and I love the included variety of layouts for notes, from wide and narrow ruled pages, to dotted and bulleted and more. The AI features do require WiFi connection, but that's par for the course and not a limitation in my opinion. As for the AI performance, so far it's done a prefect job of translating my poor handwriting into neatly typed text. When reading, I find it much easier to use the pen to look up words and highlight text. The accuracy is much better than using my finger." — Lou1492 13. A Dyson V8 Plus cordless vacuum for 30% off (that's $140 off, a good deal for this model and the cheapest it goes for outside of Cyber Week) that's lightweight, powerful, and capable of capturing ~99.99% of particles~. Plus it comes with a hair attachment to pick up pet fur and shed human hair too! Promising review:" Best vacuum for pet hair. After going through many different makes of vacuum cleaners, I have finally found one that works for the fur of our long-haired dog. I had heard how great the Dyson series of vacuums were, but was always put off by the cost. Finally, after being frustrated by other brands which were effective for a period but then became more useful as doorstops than as a cleaner, I made the decision to "bite the bullet" and spend the extra money on the brand-name vacuum. The first time I used my Dyson, it picked up handfuls of fur from areas that I thought were clean. The carpets look cleaner, and hardwood floors pristine. Suction is strong even on the lower setting to make floors look like new. Emptying the canister is as easy as could be. Battery life is sufficient to clean my small home. I love that by placing the Dyson in the wall hanger it attaches directly to the charger. No searching for charging cords, or charging/change detachable batteries. My Dyson is always ready and charged whenever I need it. It is neatly tucked away, taking up little room. Being an older person, I appreciate the fact that the Dyson is lightweight and easily maneuvered. It is light enough that when the head is removed and used separately, makes cleaning our carpeted stairs easier than ever. In summary, I love my Dyson, and would recommend that the extra cost is well worth it. You will save yourself the frustration of purchasing multiple machines which are not effective. and which will end up costing more in the long-run. My only regret is that by thinking of the cost I was actually denying myself the "pleasure" of a cleaner home. I don't worry about how much our beautiful dog sheds, and can enjoy her playful personality." — Rosey Posey 14. A sleek stainless steel Cuisinart ice cream maker for 32% off that'll effortlessly make you smooth, consistent, and tasty ice cream while you busy yourself with housework (aka Netflix marathons). Promising review:"This has been a great addition to my kitchen. It's very easy to use, even for someone who's new to making ice cream at home. One of the features I appreciate most is how simple it is to clean after use — it doesn't require much effort at all. It's also worth mentioning that the machine is not noisy, which makes the experience more enjoyable. In just 25–30 minutes, it produces delicious ice cream with a smooth texture." — Yisel 15. Amika's Soulfood Nourishing Mask for 25% off, making it only 38 cents more than its lowest price ever on Amazon. This thick potion uses the power of sea buckthorn and jojoba seed oil to bring dry strands back to life in just 5-7 minutes. According to the brand, this mask is suitable for all hair types ranging from 1-4c. Promising review:"I use the Amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask every three days, and it's been a game-changer for my hair. After shampooing, I leave it on for about 10 minutes in the shower (after conditioner), and the results are amazing! My hair feels incredibly soft, looks super shiny, and just feels healthier overall. I've always loved Amika products, and this one did not disappoint. It smells great, doesn't weigh my hair down, and has made such a difference in the look and feel of my hair. Highly recommend!" — Sivia 16. A sleek, open-top self-cleaning litter box for 37% off (the cheapest you can get it for outside of Cyber Week) that is super quiet and has an app that'll help you keep track of your cat's habits as well the box's litter levels so you know when it's time to add more. It'll also help you keep your home smell-free by enclosing waste in an odor-blocking bag with just a pull. Promising review:"I cannot believe I waited so long to buy this. It has literally changed my life! I went with this one because I have two giant cats who do not like enclosed litter boxes, so the fact that this is open-topped made for a very easy transition for them. The app is great. We have to empty the bin every 5–6 days, and the amount we are saving on litter alone because of the self cleaning will easily make this pay for itself within a year. There is absolutely zero odor. I don't know how this magical contraption does it, but I would swear that Tinkerbell herself pixie-dusted it. My cats are happy, my nose is happy, I am happy. Don't wait another day to buy this gem!" — Natalie K 17. A Tempur-Pedic Memory Foam Symphony Pillow for 60% off that'll adapt to the shape of your head and neck for ultimate support and comfort. Plus, it has one side that is gently arched to better support back sleepers *and* on the other side is a flatter design for stomach and side sleepers Amazon Promising review:"This pillow gives great neck support. This pillow is also soft and comfortable. The only downside is, I have to race to get the bed before the dog takes it." — peppe 18. A FlexiSpot electric standing desk for up to 35% off (its lowest price yet!) if you're ready to go all-in on that sit-to-stand life. With just the push of a button, it'll raise itself up — and since you can save up to four preset heights, you can literally hit the button, walk away to get a coffee refill, and come back to your desk all ready to go for a standing work sesh. Promising reviews: "This desk is a lifesaver. It's sleek, solid, and lifts and lowers with ease. It will be the perfect addition to your workspace." — Rebecca Jeanette "After assembling it, I am thrilled I chose this desk. With a press of a button, I can raise and lower it to appropriate heights for either comfortably sitting or standing (I'm 5'10"). The material itself is very sturdy. There are NO drawers, which, after 20 years of having the other home desk and having desks at work, I realized that drawers do nothing more than collect and store junk. Can't do that with this desk as this desk encourages minimalism and storing that junk somewhere else." — David Taylor 19. A single-serve Nespresso machine for 41% off so you can have a deliciously caffeinated beverage right at home. It can brew four different cup sizes, and it comes with a milk frother! 20. The better-than-ever Belif Moisturizing Bomb for 26% off (plus another 5% off when you clip the coupon!) — it has a new formula that adds peptides and ceramides to help improve skin elasticity and protect the skin's barrier. Oh, and did I mention it moisturizes for up to 48 hours?! Amazon Promising review: " Licensed esthetician review here! I LOVE this product!! I use it along with so many of my clients. If you've ever heard of or been told you needed a functional hydrator, this is it! It doesn't just sit on your skin. It actually soaks in and I can tell it's hydrating the second layer of skin unlike most moisturizers on the market. It has a softening effect on the skin. It feels very rich and thick, making it seem super luxurious." — Elyssa 21. A super cute silicone toddler plate for up to 74% off if your little one is learning to self-feed, but they're still quite the messy eater. It's even sectioned so you can separate wet and dry foods! 22. A pair of Beats Studio Pro headphones for 49% off (the cheapest they go for outside of Cyber Week) with noise-cancelling, personalized spacial audio, and up to *40* hours of battery life so you can enjoy immersive sound for hours and hours — without spending hundreds on similar headphones. Promising review:"My hair is on the "bigger" side, so headphones tend to become uncomfortable after an hour or two of usage. However, t hese are so comfortable and light that I often forget I've got them on. I'm by no means an expert on this topic, but the sound quality these headphones provide is unreal. When listening to my favorite songs, I pick up on background instruments I was previously unable to. It's just so amazing to be able to listen to music like this. The noise cancellation is also top tier. Even in a crowded room, nouse just disappears with the press of a button. Transparent mode works extremely well, too. I love being able to hold a conversation while still being able to hear my music. I HIGHLY recommend these headphones for anyone looking for a more budget-friendly alternative to more pricy competitors." — Shanae Price: $179.99 (originally $349.99; available in four colors) — and shop all the Beats deals on Amazon here. 23. Or a pair of Sony XM5 wireless headphones for 38% off (that's $150 off — a new lowest ever price) with advanced noise cancellation reviewers call " phenomenal" and " top-tier", a lightweight design for comfort, and 30 hours of playback on a single charge (and 3 hours of playback with only a *3 minute* charge) so you can enjoy immersive sound for hours and hours. Promising review:"These headphones may honestly be the best purchase I've ever made. I recently started a new job in a busy office building. I have very sensitive hearing, which means that I get distracted SO easily. I can't focus at all whenever there is noise around me. So, I decided it was time to invest in some high-quality comfortable headphones. I wear these headphones for about 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Believe me when I say that I have never once felt uncomfortable while wearing these. The material is soft and lightweight—perfect for all day use. The controls are intuitive, too. My favorite feature of the headphones is that they turn into a microphone whenever I'm talking to someone, which means that I don't have to take off my headphones every time I want to have a conversation. I can also quickly let noise in (like an announcement from my manager) by placing my palm over my right ear. This has come in handy many times! The battery life is incredible, as is the sound quality. The noise cancellation technology is [so] good. I am seriously impressed by all of the amazing technology that is featured within these headphones. Thank you to Sony for saving me at work!!!" — Rachel Promising review:" Gifted these to hubby for Christmas. I read all of the reviews, but was a little nervous about the price. Worth every penny. The noise canceling feature is on point. If you are wearing them and take them off, the music or program pauses. The sound quality is pristine. Best investment" — LadyShade Price: $249.99 (originally $399.99; this price is available for the silver and smoky pink colorways; the black and midnight blue colorways are $71 off) — and shop all of the Sony deals here 24. Promising review:"Amazing fitness tracker with so many features! I am absolutely loving my Fitbit Inspire 3! The stress management feature has been a game-changer for me, helping me stay on top of my mental health. The workout intensity tracking is also super accurate and motivating. I've been wearing it to bed and the sleep tracking has helped me identify patterns and improve my sleep quality. The 24/7 heart rate monitoring gives me peace of mind, and the Midnight Zen/Black design looks sleek and stylish. The included S and L bands are comfortable and easy to swap out. Overall, I'm so impressed with this device and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive fitness tracker!" — Yuda Price: $69.95 (originally $99.95; available in three colors) and shop all the Fitbit deals here 25. A basic Zojirushi rice cooker for 33% off (the cheapest it's been since last July) — reviewers love this Japanese brand's rice cookers that last for years — even decades. You'll get *perfectly* fluffy results every time, without having to babysit the stove or worry about cook times. And tons of reviewers love the more basic models like this one so much, they end up upgrading to the fancier ones a few years later! Promising review:" UPDATE: It's been 5 years with the new as reliable and functional as the original. No changes to my original comments. I generally make only 2-4 cups of rice at a time. I've made up to 7 cups without the "splatter" described by others. Maybe if I made 9-10 cups it would, but you could cover the weep hole with a small cloth. I'd recommend buying the bigger size if you are concerned. Still very happy! I purchased my first Zojirushi rice cooker over 25 years ago while stationed in Japan. The cooker worked unfailingly for over 25 years until this year. As I searched for a replacement — reviewing the multitude of complex rice cookers — I realized what I wanted was the same cooker I had. This is the model! I wanted it to cook rice correctly in a timely manner. I'm not a rice Japanese take it to an art form, so maybe the more complex machines result in a better dining experience. For me, this rice cooker delivers fluffy, perfect rice every time. I tend to cook about 3 cups (dry volume) rice each time. Add water, add rice, flip the lever to cook and in about 20-25 minutes I have great rice for dinner. If that's what you need, then this is the product. Lid is glass and has a small weep hole. I read that this hole spits and made a mess. This is NOT my experience at all. In fact, my old lid (light aluminum, no hole) occasionally caused a small mess. This does not. I've had this product now for 3 months. It's a simple cooker that works perfectly and exactly like the one I had for 25 years. Very, very happy." — D Robert Price: $39.99 (originally $59.50) and shop all the Zojirushi deals here 26. There's also a shock-absorbing deck and a high-performance cushioning pad to help reduce impact on the knees and ankles. Promising review:"I bought this walking pad and we are obsessed! It was already set up when we took it out of the box so there was not much to do. Super easy to work with. The size is perfect. We have it in our bedroom but can definitely move it around between rooms. It marks down the distance you walk as well as the calories and the time. We also really like that is not bulky or anything like that. It's a super sleek and aesthetic model and really think it's a great product for its price. I can totally see us working out (walking long times) on there and no need to be going to the gym anymore." — Cynthia Locke Price: $119.98 (originally $171.84) 27. Very well made." — Tim Sperry Promising review:"Anytime you find Ninja cookware on discount buy it. I have Ninja products that I've had for 10 years that are still awesome. They dissolve evenly and work effectively to maintain proper chlorine levels. I also appreciate that the tablets are individually wrapped, which makes them easy to handle and keeps them fresh. For the quality, the price is fantastic. These tabs are a great value and do an excellent job of keeping my pool well-maintained. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable and affordable chlorine option!" — Belinda T Price: $108.80 (originally $148.99) 31. I can run my Bosch radio, power my phone, charge multiple batteries, and run either my hole hog or air compressor all at the same time. On heavy-use days, it'll last two full days. If all I'm doing is charging batteries and running the radio, it'll last four or five days. I just take it home and plug it in and it's ready to go in a couple hours. Comes with a 12-volt charger and has a plug to use solar as a charger also. I love this product! Love this thing and wish I purchased sooner!" — Amazon Customer 3. A 2024 13-inch MacBook Air for $300 off (its lowest price!) with the ultra-fast and ultra-powerful M3 chip. It's surprisingly lightweight and just half an inch thin, so you can tote this to class and the library easily. Amazon Promising review:"I use my computer light to moderately for email, social and business-related tasks and wasn't sure the purchase is justified. Rayna 4. It now takes me about 20 minutes to dry my hair." — Grace 5. I am thrilled with my purchase." — Clarence Mabbitt 6. A full-size NutriBullet blender for 36% off (which is the cheapest you can get it for!) so you can take advantage of all the amazing spring-y produce for sale at your local farmers' market. Highly recommended." — Pixie 7. You need this product in your life!" — Sarah Deeb 8. Highly recommend it for any dog owner!" — Amber T White 9. A set of FIVE (!!!) of Blink outdoor security cameras for 50% off so you can watch over your yard with easy-to-install tech that's wire-free and connects with the Blink app on your phone. Amazon You get 1080p HD live view, infrared night vision, enhanced motion detection, and crisp two-way audio. The accuracy is much better than using my finger." — Lou1492 12. I don't worry about how much our beautiful dog sheds, and can enjoy her playful personality." — Rosey Posey 13. Don't wait another day to buy this gem!" — Natalie K 14. A Tempur-Pedic Memory Foam Symphony Pillow for 60% off that'll adapt to the shape of your head and neck for ultimate support and comfort. Plus, it has one side that is gently arched to better support back sleepers *and* on the other side is a flatter design for stomach and side sleepers Amazon 15. Can't do that with this desk as this desk encourages minimalism and storing that junk somewhere else." — David Taylor 16. I HIGHLY recommend these headphones for anyone looking for a more budget-friendly alternative to more pricy competitors." — Shanae 17. Best investment" — LadyShade 18. Very, very happy." — D Robert 20.
