Raytown man killed in Saturday afternoon crash: MSHP

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Troopers are investigating after a 56-year-old Raytown man was killed in a rollover crash Saturday afternoon. According to a , just after 3 p.m., officers with the Raytown Police Department and troopers with MSHP were dispatched to the area of 53rd Street and Maywood Avenue on reports of a crash. Gladstone home explosion leaves one dead, cause still unknown Investigations revealed that the 56-year-old man had been driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala when he drove off the left side of the road and overturned. MSHP said the man was taken to Centerpoint Hospital, where he reportedly died just before 3:45 p.m. At this time, the man's identity has not been released by law enforcement. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Raytown Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 75-year-old man who left a veteran's hospital before receiving medical care. Hayden is described as being 6-feet tall, Black male, with gray hair and brown eyes. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An investigation is underway after two men were shot outside a bar early Sunday morning in Raytown, Missouri. The Raytown Police Department said that just before 1 a.m. on Easter Sunday, officers were called to the Silver Fox bar, near Ditzler Avenue and East Gregory Boulevard, on reports of a shooting. It was also determined that the shooting had happened outside of the business, near the parking lot. Police have not provided an update on the victims' injuries or their condition. RAYTOWN, Mo. – Raytown police are investigating a kidnapping that occurred at QuikTrip on Sunday. Police are looking for a possible 2019 white Dodge Journey. The vehicle may be a few years older. The vehicle left QuikTrip, located at 9323 E 350 Highway, around 4 p.m. on Sunday. It was last seen heading south towards towards Elliott Place and 7311 Maple Drive. The suspect entered the backseat of the Dodge Journey, putting the female at gunpoint. The vehicle left southbound with their hazards on. It's unknown if the suspect and victim know each other.
