Jalen Brunson reveals what roommate and fellow Knick Josh Hart's ‘Real Housewives' tagline would be

Jalen Brunson and fellow New York Knicks star Josh Hart are keeping it real – off the court. The New York Knicks superstars, Villanova alums and former roommates, have electrified the Big Apple, leading the Knickerbockers to the Eastern Conference Finals in June, the first time since 2000, and now they're game to talk reality TV. In their offseason podcast 'Roommates Show,' Brunson and Hart channel their inner 'Real Housewives' and get into a heated discussion on reality TV show 'Love Island.' 'Josh's 'Real Housewives' tagline would be, 'I'm just vibing,' that would be his tagline,' Brunson told The Post of the shooting guard whom he played college basketball with for two seasons during the 2016 NCAA national championship at Villanova. 8 In their offseason podcast 'Roommates Show,' Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart channel their inner 'Real Housewives' dishing on reality TV. Courtesy: Medium-Rare The kicker? Hart doesn't even watch reality TV, he told The Post — only making an exception for 'Love Island,' a hot topic of discussion in their latest podcast episode. In the last episode of their podcast, Hart, Brunson and their college roommate and co-host Matt Hillman unpacked their affinity for the reality competition (Spoiler alert: Hart is not a super fan). 'I'm kinda watching it and I'm also on my phone,' he said on the last podcast episode Thursday, confessing 'I'm not really a fan of anyone in particular. I rocked with Taylor [Chmelka]. Then America kicked him off because there was haters.' 'I don't watch reality shows,' Hart admitted to The Post (Brunson called him out as a 'weirdo' for it). 8 Brunson, who grew up in New Brunswick, New Jersey, told The Post 'The Jersey Shore,' is still the GOAT [greatest of all time] in his book. Charles Wenzelberg / New York Post Brunson, meanwhile, who grew up in New Brunswick, New Jersey, confessed: 'The Jersey Shore,' is still the GOAT [greatest of all time] in his book. 'My favorite reality show of all time, possibly one of my favorite shows,'' Burnson revealed 'I could watch that on repeat.' The point guard, listens to Justin Bieber as his pre-game routine, a tradition that started when he played ball back at Villanova, which he's said leads him to win. He also said he can't stop listening to a particular song off of Bieber's new album, 'Swag.' 8 Brunson, who listens to Justin Bieber as his pre-game routine, told The Post he's been loving Justin Bieber's new album: 'The first song right now is probably my favorite. Tickets go on sale Friday for a live taping of the 'Roommates Show,' in Central Park on September, 6 at Rumsey Playfield. The show will feature two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning, comedy legend Ben Stiller, and a musical performance by Ferg at the block party that mixes hoops and music. Thousands of Knicks fans are expected to gather, harkening back the energy that powered the city back in March during playoffs. 'Everything about the season was fantastic, obviously ending short was the only downfall of it. The love we got, everything that had to do with the season, the fans, was so appreciated. My favorite part of the whole thing was the fan interaction, but in Boston the streets were flooded. It was a really cool sight to see. When we're playing well the energy is electric,' Brunson said. 8 Brunson and Hart electrified the Big Apple, leading the Knickerbockers to the Eastern Conference Finals in June, the first time since 2000, and now they're game to talk reality TV. 'The Roommates' podcast, they said, is a chance for them to call the shots on topics they want to be unfiltered about. 'There's so many narratives that take place in the media, this is one way we can control our narrative about the topics we want to talk about,' Brunson told The Post. 8 Brunson said of the Knicks fandom: 'Everything about the season was fantastic, obviously ending short was the only downfall of it. Still, Hart says not everything is an open book. 'There's definitely stuff that is off limits – normally we say things that come to mind and have fun with it. Somehow 75% of the things I say get edited out unfortunately. They try to mute me a little bit,' Hart joked. 8 Hart (left) joked to The Post of the 'Roommates Show' podcast Somehow 75% of the things I say get edited out unfortunately. Charles Wenzelberg / New York Post Brunson and Hart helped pick the number one over FaceTime, and a day later New York beat the Pacers, ending Indiana's series lead to 2-1 games. 'It's an amazing feeling. It's really cool to be involved in that,' Brunson said. 'It was cool, at the same time it was weird. It's a blessing to have that kind of love around the city.'

Jeff Bezos has been weighing a possible acquisition of CNBC: sources

Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos has been weighing a possible acquisition of CNBC, The Post has learned. The 61-year-old e-commerce magnate has signaled interest to business associates in buying the cable network — home to 'Squawk Box' and 'Mad Money with Jim Cramer' — after it is spun off by NBCUniversal parent Comcast later this year, according to a person familiar with Bezos' thinking. CNBC would 'align well with his interests,' said another source close to Bezos, who noted that the network could serve as a credible 'neutral voice' in his media portfolio — a major plus following Bezos's headaches as owner of the left-leaning Washington Post. Advertisement 5 Jeff Bezos is interested in buying CNBC after it is spun off from Comcast and is part of the publicly-traded Versant, sources said. Getty Images for The New York Times The Amazon founder has weathered months of headline-grabbing chaos at the iconic newspaper, which has been mired in losses, layoffs and staff protests over his moves to shift the paper's coverage in a more centrist, pro-capitalist direction. A rep for Bezos declined to comment. Advertisement Comcast, meanwhile, plans to spin off its struggling cable assets — which also include MSNBC, USA Network and E! — by the end of the year. CNBC will become part of a publicly-traded company called Versant, which will be run by a handful of NBCUniversal execs led by Chief Executive Mark Lazarus. Sources close to Comcast told The Post that Bezos has not approached the cable giant headed by CEO Brian Roberts. Another source close the situation said Versant plans to grow CNBC, not sell it. 5 CNBC is known for business programs such as 'Sqwak Box' co-hosted by Andrew Ross Sorken (L), Becky Quick (center) and Joe Kernen (right). Stefanie Smith/CNBC Advertisement Versant declined to comment. It is unclear how much Bezos — currently ranked as the fourth richest person in the world with a net worth of $241 billion, according to Forbes — would be willing to pony up for CNBC. Comcast does not break out financials for its cable assets but recently said the soon-to-be spun-off Versant generated about $7 billion in revenue last year. Buying CNBC would be tricky. There is a two-year period in which Versant could not engage in selling major assets like CNBC or even the entire company without major tax implications, sources told The Post. Advertisement 5 Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sanchez were seen relaxing at Club 55 on Pampelonne Beach in Saint‑Tropez. Best Image / BACKGRID A source close to the situation said the company won't likely jeopardize the tax-free nature of the spinoff. Late last year, Comcast announced it would hive off its cable assets and keep NBCUniversal's NBC broadcast TV network, 'Real Housewives' home Bravo, its film and TV studios and theme parks, as well streaming service Peacock. Bezos bought the Washington Post from Warren Buffett in 2013 for $250 million, but the paper since has been dogged by steep losses as subscribers have fled. 5 Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos leaving Le Club 55 in Saint Tropez. Spread Pictures / MEGA The Amazon founder has been vacationing with his new bride Lauren Sanchez in the South of France. They were spotted Tuesday leaving glitzy beach club Le Club 55, not far from where the mogul's mega-yacht, Koru, dropped anchor. Bezos' desire to expand his media empire follows a flurry of headlines in recent weeks that he was interested in buying Vogue magazine for Sanchez, a former TV reporter — or even the fashion glossy's parent company Condé Nast. Over the past year, Bezos and Washington Post CEO Will Lewis have tried to move the Beltway broadsheet more to the center — to the dismay of staffers. Advertisement 5 Bezos' changes at The Washington Post have sparked anger from staffers and readers alike. More than 300,000 readers have canceled their subscriptions to the left-leaning paper last year. REUTERS Bezos' decision to kill the newspaper's endorsement of Kamala Harris for president shortly before the election in November sparked a revolving door of high-profile departures. More than 300,000 readers canceled their subscriptions. The uproar continued after Bezos ordered the outlet's opinion section to focus on 'personal liberties and free markets' — a more neutral topic — rather than weighing in on politics and other issues. The directive led to the resignation of Opinion Editor David Shipley, followed by the departure of longtime columnist Ruth Marcus. On Monday, Pulitzer Prize-winning opinion writer Jonathan Capehart announced he accepted a buyout.

Authorities were alerted and swiftly responded," the couple said in a statement. "We appreciate everyone's heightened concern in light of recent criminal activities in our area, but we are safe." The pair purchased the Encino home in 2020. 'Real Housewives' star Teddi Mellencamp shares Edwin Arroyave divorce update amid cancer battle Mellencamp filed for divorce from Arroyave, a home security entrepreneur, in November of last year. The estranged pair pressed pause on their split and are on good terms as she battles stage 4 melanoma. Mellencamp shared earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in her brain and lungs. "I think it's really hard being in a place where, I kind of am in denial of where I am physically," Mellencamp told co-host Tamra Judge during an episode of "Two Ts In A Pod," the podcast she helms alongside her fellow "Real Housewives" star. "And when other people are not in denial, it's hard," she added. Teddi Mellencamp previously told USA TODAY that a positive mindset has been key to her journey. "I'm feeling positive, but I also would say that my mood and my overall energy level shifts by the hour," she said in May. "There's moments of fear and there's moments of whatever, but as long as I'm moving my body and taking action, then I seem to be in a more positive mindset." Contributing: David Oliver, Anna Kaufman

Amidst the drama and tension, one housewife, Angel Ndlela, is shining a light on a more positive note. Congratulations are in order as the reality star celebrates a major milestone of becoming a homeowner. On Thursday, July 17, Ndlela took to social media to share the exciting news with her fans. She posted a set of pictures of herself standing outside the stunning home, posing with a set of keys in her hands. She captioned the pictures, stating that she waited for God to make the purchase possible. 'After a sacred season of waiting, God made room. The wait was holy. The reward is home. Faith wrote this chapter, independence sealed it. 🏡🗝️✨,' she wrote. Her industry peers took to the comment section to congratulate the 30-year-old business woman. Congratulations, you should be so proud of yourself,f beautiful 😍🥳🥂'. However, as a housewife on a reality TV show, Ndlela's new home has attracted scrutiny from viewers who expect a certain level of lavishness. With the show's focus on the wealthy lifestyle of its cast members, some viewers have criticised the reality star's home, saying it does not meet their expectations of what a 'housewife's' home should look like. 'I'm sorry but that house isn't up to "'Real Housewives' standards,' said X user @nok2lah_ Another social media user, @THendrix777, asked: 'Isn't the point of these shows to show us opulence and a disconnect from reality?' While @SihleN88853737 commented: 'Yho! I looked at Sorisha, Jojo, and Nonku's houses and then looked at Angel's house and sighed 🥴' Ndlela joined the cast of the popular reality show in 2024 and became the youngest cast member to join the group. Not only is she an established businesswoman who owns a construction company, but she is also making waves in the music industry with her latest collaboration with Funky QLA on 'Umkhuleko' (prayer). The single also features Amapiano sensations Sino Msolo, Sykes and gospel artist Khaya Mthethwa.
