Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce superfans name baby after couple
When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce first got together, fans came up with several combinations of their names, such as Tayvis, Traylor or Swelce, as a moniker for the couple. Now, a set of new parents has taken it one step further and revealed they've given their newborn a name that salutes the couple. On Friday, Liberty Hospital at the University of Kansas revealed a sweet photo of a tot on its Facebook page with a mash-up moniker inspired by the superstars. The hospital wrote in the caption: 'We are so excited to announce the birth of the youngest Swiftie and newest member of The Kansas City Chiefs Red Kingdom. 'Kelce Taylor is officially in her newborn era.' The tyke was swaddled in a white blanket with a big yellow bow on her head, lying next to a red Kansas City Chiefs jersey with the name Kelce on it. A sign just above the infant's head featured an illustration of Taylor in cowboy boots and announced her name would be Kelce Taylor. Fans on social media went wild for the tot's name with one suggesting: 'Send this to the podcast. I'm sure Travis would be honored.' One mom-to-be thought it was a great idea. 'We're having a girl and her surname will be Taylor, I wondering if I can convince my partner to name her Kelce lol.' 'As the mother to a child named Patrick (born 02-02-2020 when we won the first Super Bowl) I support this SO much! And your kiddo will have SUCH a fun name story to tell. I know mine does!!!' A young woman named Kelsey Taylor called it the 'Best name around ❤️.' 'She's going to grow up and be into death metal and hate football lol,' joked another. 'Gosh I hope Travis and Taylor never break up,' wrote one cautious fan.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Fans Name Their Baby Girl After the Superstar Couple: 'In Her Newborn Era'
The baby was described as "the youngest Swiftie and newest member of The Kansas City Chiefs Red Kingdom" A couple had a 'Blank Space' on their baby's birth certificate — and they knew exactly what name to go with. A baby girl was recently born at Liberty Hospital in Missouri, and her parents gave her a moniker inspired by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce: Kelce Taylor. In a social media post on Friday, July 25, Liberty Hospital shared a photo of the baby girl wrapped up and wearing a yellow bow as she was situated on top of a Kelce jersey. Behind her, a sign — which appeared to feature a cartoon of Swift in cowboy boots — highlighted her name, inspired by both the pop star and the football player. 'We are so excited to announce the birth of the youngest Swiftie and newest member of The Kansas City Chiefs Red Kingdom," Liberty Hospital wrote in its caption. 'Kelce Taylor is officially in her newborn era,' the hospital continued. In the comments section, Liberty Hospital added, 'Our nurses say that baby Kelce loves her own special name.' Swift and Kelce, both 35, have been dating since 2023. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently shared several photos on Instagram earlier this week, including sweet snaps that featured the "You Belong with Me" musician. In one image, the pair had their arms around each other on a boat, while another showed them on a group trip to Montana. "Had some adventures this offseason, kept it 💯," Kelce captioned the social media post, which also featured appearances from his brother, Jason Kelce; his mother, Donna Kelce; Swift's brother, Austin Swift, and more. 3rd wedding, 3rd chili cookoff, 3rd straight Super Bowl for Chiefs
DES MOINES, Iowa — Rob and Cindy Terry are not Chiefs fans, but on Sunday before kickoff of the big game the two tied the knot in front of members of the Red Kingdom. 'We both enjoy football; I don't hate his team. He's a Bears fan, I don't care for the Chiefs at all,' said Cindy referencing her Las Vegas Raiders jacket she was married in. 'I would say to have a wedding on Super Bowl Sunday so we can wear our favorite teams and everyone that shows up can wear their favorite team.' Cindy and Rob's original plan was to get married on 05/25/25 at 5:25 p.m. but it didn't end up working out so they figured they would tie the knot sooner. And where better to get married for the third time then at her brother-in-law's Third Annual Chili Cookoff, in honor of the Chiefs attempt at winning three Super Bowls in a row? Beer the top of Iowan's Super Bowl Sunday shopping list 'I'm no good at remembering dates per se,' said Cindy. 'So, when the Super Bowl comes around whether it's going to be on February 3rd, the 5th, the 11th, at least it'll be the Super Bowl. Then I'll know it's my anniversary. So whatever today's date is, don't care. It's the Super Bowl.' The wedding has been planned for three weeks, but this morning the couple had to audible to find a new ordained minister. 'His (Rob's) brother was supposed to do the ceremony. He's an ordained minister,' said Cindy. 'Well, he tumbled down the stairs this morning and broke his ankle, so he went by ambulance to Newton. So, somebody dug up this minister over here, I don't know who she is but it's nice she came on such short notice.' And even though it's the Chiefs chance to do something that has never been done in the league… the couple cut a cake decorated half Raiders, half Bears in true NFL fan fashion.
