Man wins $2 million on lottery scratcher sold at this Alameda gas station

Other winning tickets announced this week by the California Lottery were sold in SoCal.
ALAMEDA, Calif. - A lucky Bay Area lottery player won $2 million on a scratcher ticket bought at an Alameda gas station, the California Lottery announced this week.
Renato Escudero bought the Instant Prize Crossword scratcher from an ARCO located at 1260 Park Street.
He is one of five recent winners highlighted by the California Lottery on Thursday.

The other four winning tickets were purchased in Southern California, in Cathedral City, Costa Mesa, Buena Park and Inglewood.
Just last month, two Bay Area residents took home millions from winning scratcher tickets bought in Mill Valley and Santa Rosa.
In December, a lottery ticket sold in Shasta County matched the six winning Mega Millions numbers for $1.22 billion.
