Nobody's Child moves into resale with eBay and Reskinned
Nobody's Child's expansion isn't reserved for store openings as the women's fashion brand is now moving into the resale space. Given that the label prides itself on designing pieces to be 'loved, worn, and cherished - for years, not just seasons', it described the latest move as a good fit. 'That's why [we're] making it easier to pass on, repurpose, and re-love your clothes exclusively on eBay with Reskinned', it announced Thursday (15 May). Over the last month, Nobody's Child said it has been busy gathering donations, including pieces from its own team. Now these styles are ready 'for their next chapter' becoming available to shop exclusively on both platforms. It said pairing eBay's reach to millions of customers with Reskinned's expertise in garment repair, resale and recycling allows the combo to help extend the lifecycle of Nobody's Child garments while supporting the brand's own circular fashion model. 'Our mission has always been to design beautiful clothes with a conscience,' said Jody Plows, CEO of Nobody's Child. 'By partnering with Reskinned and eBay, we're taking that promise even further giving our customers the power to contribute to a circular fashion economy.' Kirsty Keoghan, global head of resale fashion at eBay, added: 'The pre-loved fashion market is booming, fuelled by savvy Gen Z shoppers looking for high quality pieces at great prices. By bringing an incredible brand like Nobody's Child onto the eBay marketplace, we're demonstrating how we're making circularity for fashion more accessible – for both brands, and for buyers.'
