The veteran analyst specialises in covering the WWE and frequently shares his frank opinions on the product on social media. Speaking to Indiatimes, he revealed that Rey Mysterio is expected to return to in-ring competition in August. This suggests that he is likely to miss SummerSlam, which is slated to be held on August 2 and August 3. Rey Mysterio tore his groin and busted his eardrum right before WrestleMania 41 in April. The groin injury occurred during a tag match on SmackDown. He also injured his eardrum around the same time. He later underwent surgery for the same. This injury forced him to miss WrestleMania 41, where he was to take on El Grande Americano in a grudge match. He was replaced by Rey Fenix in the bout, who lost. Rey Mysterio made his unofficial return to WWE programming at Worlds Collide in June and appeared during the opening segment. He, however, was not cleared to compete at the event. He may also resume his feud with El Grande Americano.

What is Dominik Mysterio's Net Worth in 2025? Is it Bigger than Rey Mysterio's?
Dominik and Rey Mysterio (Image via WWE) The Mysterio family has produced some of the most remarkable names in wrestling history. The stalwarts representing the clan in WWE are Rey Mysterio and his Dominik Mysterio. Although Dirty Dom is no longer on good terms with his 'deadbeat dad', the duo continued to carve out their individual legacies. Rey Mysterio proved himself to be, arguably, the greatest luchador of all time. On the hand, Dominik Mysterio broke away from his father's shadow and made his own name in WWE. So, it is interesting to see which Mysterio has attained financial supremacy over the other. Is Dominik Mysterio's Net Worth more than his father Rey Mysterio in 2025? According to sources like Celebrity Net Worth and Sportskeeda, Dominik Mysterio's WWE career has made him a staggering fortune for someone who is still on the rise in the global juggernaut. As of 2025, his net worth stands close to $2 million majorly coming from his WWE contract, merchandise royalties and other. On the other hand, his father, Rey Mysterio has been a part of the wrestling business for close to three decades and is a WWE Hall of Famer. As of now, his net worth is estimated to be $10 million. So that would mean that his estranged son is far behind his father's wealth. However, Dirty Dom is only five years in WWE and achieving a $2 million feat is also very much impressive. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Brain tumor has left my son feeling miserable; please help! Moreover, he has even collided against his father in a singles match at WrestleMania 39. Both superstars are currently a part of Monday Night RAW. While The Master of the 619 has only a few years left, Dominik Mysterio experienced major success this year. Tony Khan should learn from WWE's mistakes as AEW 2025 All In gets ready for its third annual event
Tony Khan has been a messiah for All Elite Wrestling, shaping the brand into one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world. While is still the big fish in the sea, AEW is making sure to mark its own authority, with many veteran WWE stars having joined the promotion after leaving the Stamford-based promotion behind. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Since its inception in 2019, AEW has marked many events like the WWE, and with its annual event All In coming at fans rapidly, Tony Khan should consider a few things. What Tony Khan could learn from WWE's mistakes? Remember how Rey Mysterio was going to fight El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41? After Americano disrespected Mysterio's LWO partner Dragon Lee and unmasked him, decided to challenge Americano to a one-on-one fight at WrestleMania 41. But unfortunately, he revealed during the preshow for WrestleMania 41 that he had not been medically cleared to fight. This happened because he got injured the night before the Show of Shows at SmackDown and then had to pull out of his match against El Grande Americano, which was one of the most anticipated fights of the weekend. Rey Mysterio (Image via WWE) Another similar and more recent incident occurred when Liv Morgan got injured during a match against Kairi Sane on Monday Night RAW. With her having an important fight coming up against Nikki Bella at the time, as the two were supposed to fight each other on Evolution 2025, having Morgan go through such an intense match was a risk, which unfortunately did not pay off, and now she will be out with her shoulder injury for months. With All In: Texas happening on July 12 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, which is basically WrestleMania for AEW, Tony Khan should learn from WWE's mistakes and not have his wrestlers who will be the main attraction for the big night, perform any intense fights beforehand, which might cause issues like an unfortunate injury before the main event. PAC is already set to miss out on 2025 All In because of a leg injury, fingers crossed, no one else will be missing from it. Also Read:

Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio: Net Worth Comparision, Current Salary, Contract Status and More
Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio (Image Source: Getty) Both Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio have made it to WWE, but their paths could not be more different. Rey has been a pro for over 30 years, while Dominik has made a name for himself after debuting in 2020. With both of them practically staples now on WWE programming, it kind of has everyone wondering exactly how well the duo is doing, what they're getting, and on what sort of deal. Here is a complete breakdown of how father and son go head-to-head. Rey Mysterio's finances and contract status Rey Mysterio's current net worth as of 2025 can be estimated to be around $10 million. A lot of this wealth comes from his decades of interning in WCW, WWE, and other global organizations. He has a base salary with WWE of around $174,000 a year, along with additional income from sales of merchandise, licensing deals, and bonuses from special events. Rey is still active and still signed to WWE in the SmackDown brand, even as a WWE Hall of Famer. He is under contract through at least the middle of 2025. Dominik Mysterio's wealth, salary, and contract update Dominik Mysterio, despite being a relative newcomer to WWE, had built an estimated fortune of approximately $2 million. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 드디어! 2025년 최고의 전략 게임을 무료로 플레이하세요! Raid: Shadow Legends 플레이하기 Undo His yearly salary, now around $350,000, indicates his growing worth on the WWE roster. Especially after he won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41, Dominik, with the increase in pay-per-view bonuses and merchandise sold, has made a considerable amount of money. By his return in 2023, Dominik had signed a new WWE contract that is speculated to extend over a multi-year period, which may see him with the company until or around 2028. While specific details aren't immediately available, his new deal probably features performance incentives and a few increases at strategic points along the way. Dominik lives in Chula Vista (in the upscale part that Rey lives in) and owns the BMW 3 Series and BMW i8 (in the alias sets). Oddly enough, Dominik's earnings from wrestling go back to when he was just a child. He earned around $5,000 per segment, reportedly, when he was used early on in storylines in the mid-2000s. Final comparison and what lies ahead Rey Mysterio is still the richer of the two, with decades of experience and a name that keeps raking in the coin on T-shirts and brand deals. Dominik, however, is still getting started. That base salary is also higher than expected, but WWE is investing in his future as a superstar.
