Four suspects charged after kidnapping and robbery
Four males have been arrested after kidnapping a London man. The 20-year-old victim was at a gathering in an apartment in the 500 block of Richmond Street on July 13, when a group of individuals confronted him at approximately 2:30 a.m. After interacting until approximately 6 a.m., the group forced the man out of the apartment. One armed suspect uttered threats and assaulted the victim before he was transported in a vehicle throughout the city. After the suspects stole property from multiple locations and banking institutions, they released the victim at approximately 7 a.m. He sustained minor injuries. The four suspects, all in their early 20s, were charged with kidnapping, extortion, armed robbery, pointing a firearm and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon. They are expected to appear in court on Friday.

$50,000 lottery win for Chatham man
A Chatham man has won $50,000 on the Instant Sonic Multiplier scratch ticket. The $10 ticket offers a top prize of $250,000. Robert Gordon-Kay bought his ticket at Richmond Convenience on Richmond Street in Chatham. No further details were provided on what he plans to do with his winnings by the OLG.

Downtown London employee stabbed, suspect charged
According to London police, a man has been charged after a stabbing in the downtown core Monday. The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 500-block of Richmond Street. Police say a man was loitering at the back of a downtown establishment and was asked to leave by staff. That's when the suspect male allegedly brandished a knife and proceeded to stab an employee before leaving the area on a scooter. A London police officer provided immediate first aid to the victim, and he was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Through their investigation, police were able to identify and arrest the suspect. A 33-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault and breach of probation. The victim remains in hospital. The accused remains in custody and is expected to return to London court Friday in relation to the charges.

Police seek suspects involved in downtown carjacking, assault
London police are looking to identify several suspects involved in a downtown carjacking that occurred on May 11 in the 600-block of Richmond Street. (Source: London Police Service) London police are looking to identify several suspects involved in a downtown carjacking. The incident happened around 4 a.m. on May 11 in the 600-block of Richmond Street. According to police, a man was assaulted by an unknown woman after leaving a business. The victim proceeded to walk away, but was followed by four additional unknown women, and all five women allegedly began assaulting him. The victim eventually was able to run away to safety, but when he later returned to his car, police say one of the women approached the driver side door with a male and pulled the suspect out of the car. Then, the male suspect and two female suspects continued to assault the victim while another female drove off in the victim's car, according to police. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assaults. The stolen vehicle was located the following day on Bedford Road. Anyone who may be able to assist police in identifying these suspects is asked to contact London Police Service.
