Advertisement Ricky Saints spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard at WrestleMania Media Day about his feud with Ethan Page, who, like him, left AEW to join NXT. There are some similarities between the two, but their personalities are very different. Despite that contrast, Saints said their dynamic brings out the best in each other. 'Polar opposites attract, of course, and I'm no stranger to Ethan. We have met before on the indies and other places, things of that nature, so I think having that chemistry only creates the best types of matches and outcomes,' Ricky Saints said. Ricky Saints is focused on the present Plenty of things come to mind when fans think about Ricky Saints' career. This ranges from his various title wins to his AEW exit to his new name in NXT, among other topics. Is there anything that Saints wants fans to focus on more, or something that he feels deserves more attention? Advertisement 'I think it's just really focusing on my current work right now, and stuff that I'm trying to do currently,' Ricky Saints said. 'I would just focus on the effort I'm putting out there right now.' In closing, Saints was asked if he had a message for Page ahead of Stand & Deliver, so he offered a simple preview of what was to come. 'Hey, bud, you're gonna lose,' Saints said. Ricky Saints On Leaked Royal Rumble Footage: I Don't Accept Weird Behavior, I Should Have Sued

Ricky Saints reflects on his Royal Rumble visit being leaked online. Saints, then known as Ricky Starks, attended the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble to support his friend Cody Rhodes. Starks, who was under contract with AEW, was confirmed to be backstage after security footage of him was leaked online. The incident drew a considerable amount of attention due to Starks' AEW status, although Starks didn't actually do anything wrong. Advertisement Saints appeared at WrestleMania 41 media day, where Ten Count Media's Steve Fall asked Saints how he felt about the way the footage was leaked. Saints said that he doesn't accept the mentality that it's 'part of the wrestling business' and won't tolerate weird behavior. Ricky Saints initially didn't understand the gravity of the situation 'You know, at the time, I thought it was kinda weird and dumb. I didn't really understand the significance of it until the following day. But, I think stuff like that is kinda crazy. I think certain people overstep a line doing that type of stuff and there's nothing to gain from it. There is an intent behind doing stuff like that, [but] it is what it is,' Ricky Starks said. 'I don't regret anything like that, I didn't do anything wrong. It's just very odd, a very odd situation that anyone could [try and justify it by saying] 'that's the industry you're in. You've got to get used to it.' I don't accept any type of weird behavior, whether it's at an airport, whether it's security footage,' Starks continued. 'I don't accept any of it just because of 'the industry' that I'm in or because of the status that I have. We're all people that should have some type of decency amongst us. I should have sued. I should have sued [The Alamodome].' The post Ricky Saints On Leaked Royal Rumble Footage: I Don't Accept Weird Behavior, I Should Have Sued appeared first on Wrestlezone.
