Prepare for possible route detours, CATA says
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Heavy snow is expected to fall this afternoon and many mid-Michigan counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory until 7 a.m. Thursday morning.
The Capital Area Transportation Authority reports that 13 routes may experience detours due to weather. Buses will display 'On Snow Detour' and will pass through regular bus stops on affected roads.
Before riding, CATA says to be prepared and check to stay up-to-date on alternative routes. If routes return to normal, people will receive a two-hour notice via Rider Alerts.
Routes that could experience snow detours: 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 22, 23, 24 and 26
