RR by Rizman Ruzaini marks 20 years with ‘Rebirth: Vol.1 – Gratitude', reintroducing line with a bold push into affordable luxury
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 — Two decades in, RR by Rizman Ruzaini is hitting refresh with its Fall/Winter 2025 collection, Rebirth: Vol.1 – Gratitude — a sleek new chapter for the label as it steps boldly into the affordable luxury space. Drawing on the symbolism of the lotus flower and grace through adversity the collection blends familiar RR elegance with clean, modern lines. Think structured yet fluid silhouettes, elevated everyday pieces, and a debut appearance by denim in deep navy, paired with a palette of black, white and cream. 'This is not just a seasonal drop. It's a reintroduction of RR by Rizman Ruzaini,' said co-founder Rizman Nordin. 'We're speaking to a new audience — one that values craft, identity and intention.' The RR monogram makes quiet appearances as subtle motifs and graphic details, tying each piece back to the brand's DNA. Metallic accents in silver and gold thread through the looks in embellishments, hardware, footwear and accessories adding light without overpowering the minimal aesthetic. The RR monogram makes quiet appearances as subtle motifs and graphic details, tying each piece back to the brand's DNA. Co-founder Ruzaini Jamil described the collection's mood as 'calm, dignified, and aware,' adding: 'The lotus is more than a design symbol; it's a philosophy. This collection is our way of saying thank you to the women and men who've made us part of their lives for the last 20 years.' Originally positioned as the entry line to Rizman Ruzaini's couture world, RR now stands on its own alongside international names like Sandro, Maje, Theory and Coach — offering design-forward pieces with accessible price points for Southeast Asia's growing class of style-conscious shoppers. Three Jakarta outlets are also set to launch later this year. The next instalment, Rebirth: Vol.2 – A New Home, will debut at Jakarta Fashion Week in November — marking the brand's first major showcase in Indonesia.

Magnum's Strawberry Panna Adds Flavour To KLFW 2025's Most Indulgent Week Yet
Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2025 is back and louder than ever, strutting into town from 4th to 10th August with over 55 designers, bold collaborations, and a whole lot of flair. But this year, the buzz isn't just about fashion. It's about flavour. Enter Magnum Strawberry Panna. Dressed in premium Belgian chocolate and swirled with luscious strawberry ribbons, this ice cream moment is making just as much of a statement as the looks on the runway. With KLFW's signature monochrome show structure taking over KLCC Park's Esplanade once again, the event is pulling in a crowd of industry insiders, influencers and fashion fans. And nestled right in the middle of the stylish chaos is the Magnum booth – ready to serve cool pleasure in the heat of all that style. Customise Your Indulgence With 'Make My Magnum' For all seven days of KLFW, guests can swing by Magnum's 'Make My Magnum' bar and craft their own frozen creations. Dip it in rich Belgian milk chocolate, top it with strawberry pieces, and finish it off with your choice of crunchy, sweet flair. It's the perfect snack with a side of style. Because just like the show schedule – featuring a mix of returning icons like Rizman Ruzaini, Mimpikita and Ezzati Amira and fresh faces like ShazNash, HUNTILANAK and MOKJY – no two Magnums look the same. Strawberry Panna: Dessert Meets Design This isn't your average ice cream. Strawberry Panna is a full-on fashion experience. Think creamy panna cotta ice cream laced with fruity strawberry swirls, wrapped in that signature chocolate shell with real strawberry pieces for texture and a little extra drama. Every bite is a layered surprise. Just like a well-curated runway look, it's bold, it's unexpected, and it knows exactly how to work the crowd. Fashion Week Fuel That Fits the Scene Between fashion talks, front row flashes and back-to-back shows, a quick indulgence goes a long way. Whether you're catching Sofia Iman's big debut on day one, vibing with the Larney x Afiq M collab on Sunday, or standing in line with your best street style pose, Magnum Strawberry Panna delivers a cold moment of bliss when you need it most. KLFW might be fashion's biggest week in Malaysia, but a well-timed dessert? That's your secret weapon. Fashion x Flavour Just Makes Sense KLFW has always been about pushing the culture forward. This year's show space includes a full arrivals hall, livestream-ready LED panels, and some of the country's biggest names in design. It's supported by heavy-hitting sponsors like Suria KLCC, KLCC Holdings, L'Oréal Paris, Poh Kong and MOCCONA, with official hotel partners like Mandarin Oriental and Traders Hotel KL. Among that power list of collaborators is Magnum – proof that fashion and indulgence go hand in hand. Because why just walk the walk when you can snack your worth too. Don't Just Dress To Impress – Indulge Like You Mean It KLFW 2025 is a celebration of expression, diversity and all things bold. And Magnum is serving up flavour that fits right in. Strawberry Panna is the ice cream equivalent of a killer accessory – satisfying, layered and unapologetically extra. So while you're making plans to catch the next big name or show off your OOTD at KLCC, make sure you swing by the Magnum booth. Crack into Strawberry Panna. Take that bite. Serve your flavour moment. Because true style isn't just worn. It's savoured.

(Video) Rizman Ruzaini Makes Cannes Film Festival Debut With Stunning Pink Ensemble
Malaysia's very own Rizman Ruzaini continues to make a name for itself in the global market! The homegrown fashion label recently made a jaw-dropping appearance at the Cannes Film Festival with Norwegian-Somali model Rawdah Mohamed! Last weekend, Rawdah walked the red carpet at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival for the movie 'Die, My Love', starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. The model turned heads with her pink ensemble, complete with a matching hijab. Rawdah kept the jewellery simple, sporting a necklace from the French luxury jewellery house Boucheron. Netizens and fashion magazines praised the look for being modern and modest, with many praising the hijab. As it turns out, the dress was a custom design by Malaysian designer duo Rizman Ruzaini. Through its Instagram account, the fashion house described the custom look, 'A sculptural study in silhouette and silk, the rose pink ensemble featured a svelte buttoned-back bodice flowing into a dramatic flared skirt, masterfully gathered at the hips for graceful movement and form.' Meanwhile, the matching heels were from the Indonesian brand Buttonscarves. Many Malaysians have reacted to Maison Rizman Ruzaini's Cannes debut, congratulating the designers on their recent milestone. Stars like Malaysian actress Siti Saleha and Indonesian actress Raline Shah also send their praises and love to the homegrown fashion label. Rawdah also loved the custom piece, writing on her Instagram, 'What an honour to wear custom Rizman Ruzaini. Thank you for making me feel one of a kind.' The model also shared more photos of herself in the dress, taken at her hotel before walking down the Cannes red carpet. Renowned fashion and lifestyle magazine Marie Claire also highlighted Rawdah's look in an Instagram video for their Marie Claire Arabia edition. Fans also praised the 34-year-old and her dress, saying she looked like a princess and a ballerina in the pink custom piece. While this was Rizman Ruzaini's first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, the fashion house has appeared at other film festivals. We hope this opens up more opportunities for the brand to appear at international events and red carpets! Check out Rawdah's look in motion below: Sources: Instagram (1)(2)(3)(4)
