'I'm just the guy who lives next door', Hael Husaini, stays rooted to the ground and believes in being humble despite his many successes
Meet Hael Husaini. A Malaysian musician, singer, composer, writer and brilliant in his work too. And these days success just seems to follow him everywhere. Undoubtedly, his song last year's top hit 'Diam' was incredibly mesmerising and the lyrics just jived with just about every other guy in town. It held a meaning that most of us go through that experience in life. So memorable has been the success of the song, Hael even has released a special edition of the song on Thursday (May 1). Also not to forget partnership with songstress Nadeera and long time writing partner Iqie Hugh. Together, they seem to weave magic after magic in the local music scene these days. The trio's current "Meriah Lain Macam" for the Raya festival is simply stupendous, to say it right. Over 1.87 billion hits in media and social streaming platforms and being ranked No.1 in so many charts. Breaking records just about everywhere and also a superb 16 million-plus hits in You Tube alone. Hael and Iqie known for their intense melodic tracks, hard hitting guitars background and the ability to jump genres with ease are right now and by far, the flavour of Malaysian music. And yet, despite his successes, he just prefers to stay humble about it all. "It just wonderful to be recognised for your work. I'm very humbled by all the attention actually. But my aim has always been the same. I became a singer to help people in their life. To give inspiration to all my friends and also the younger guys. "There is too much hurdles for youngsters in this age and time. I always hope and pray that my songs help them improve their lives, even by just a little bit, and when that happens, It make me a happy and contended musician," said the ever-humble Hael. And on his soaring career which sees Hael currently high in the top tier, the 38-year-old crooner prefers just to be cool about it. "Me a star, no ... no. Really, I'm just your everyday guy who just want to do well in his career. Your next-door neighbour who always willing to help the young ones," said Hael. "I feel blessed when many fans love my songs. It is indeed, very gratifying, to know your song is played in houses,cars and offices. Many people helped me in my career - My family, good friends, record producer Rocketfuel and also Astro. I'm very grateful to all of them and my many fans who have given me so much of love and support," said Hael. That so down-to-earth demeanor of himself is also a big reason that he believes also big factor of his success story. "You know, as I said many times, being able to help and motivate youngsters and they love your work, is indeed the greatest reward for me. And I hope they continue to support me throughout my career," said Hael. The singer is also spreading his creative wings by establishing his own production company - Huge House Entertainment, which has been operational since last year. "I hope this new venture will help young and upcoming singers to achieve their dreams. Of course, the ultimate goal is push our Malaysian into the international arena. "There many talented singer out there and I hope I can help and work with them in achieving our goals," added Hael. This writer has always been impressed with Malaysia's star singer. And with such an amazing humble attitude, by far, it will be no surprise if Hael keep continuing his upward trend in the Malaysian music scene for a very, very long time.

Stars continue to glitter for Malaysian super duo Hael Husaini-Nadeera Zaini as their blockbuster Raya song goes above 1.87 billion in social media & streaming platforms
It seems nothing seem to stop the magic combination Hael Husaini and Nadeera Zaini. They have had hits after hits and success after success over the last 15 months and it just does not seems to stop. Their Hari Raya hit 'Meriah Lain Macam' is by far the easy champion for this festival season. This tune is again written by the amazing writing duo of Hael Husaini and Iqie Hugh, these two long-time friends who form an incredible partnership that has composed many top songs. At press time, the fun and uplifting 'Meriah Lain Macam' has turned in an incredible 1.87 billion in social media and streaming platforms. It is also the No.1 hit song in Malaysia and Brunei and returned a tremendous 16 million hits in YouTube. It is also hitting the charts in Singapore, Indonesia and even other parts of South-East Asia. It is also the No.1 trending song in YouTube for 33 days in a row and also the top boy in Carta RIM (Malay Section - The Official Malaysia Chart), No. 1 in YouTube Malaysia, YouTube Brunei and also the prestigious Billboard Malaysia chart. The song which is about a wife-husband pair's zany but happy preparations for the the Hari Raya festival. Music label Rocketfuel Entertainment had made the official announcement of the hit song during a special Hari Raya Open House event in Kuala Lumpur which was attended by their top artistes, special guests and also the media members. "For me going home for the Raya holidays is always the best time of the year. It always has been 'Meriah Lain Macam (a special kind of happiness)" said Hael during the Hari Raya event. "I'm so glad I have a chance to write a song that gives me a chance to share that experience and at the same the extreme excitement of waiting for the big day and journey back home to share the fun with my family," added Hael, now among the most accomplished musicians in the country. "As usual it is always fun working with Iqie and Nadeera. I expected a good run but seriously, never have I expected such a stupendous reception. I thank everyone - the fans, my team, my family, Rocketfuel and also Astro. They have done so much in pushing this song to this unthinkable level. "It is also very gratifying that people from all kind of races are loving this tune. From the bottom of the heart, I'm just so humbled by the reception, It has been incredible and I'm so grateful I'm part of the who gang involved in the song and also the video. "It's so wonderful that it is the Hari Raya 'playlist' in many houses and cars and even offices. I thank all for their support. It is just so incredible. What a ride," said the ever-so down-to-earth singer. As for Nadeera, she added another feather to blossoming achievements, when also released her own Hari Raya tune 'Dam Dim Dum Raya' besides the super-hit composition with Hael. While 'Dam Dim Dum Raya' was not a big hit like 'Meriah Lain Macam', it still returned a respectable 800,000 hits in YouTube. Nadeera, also said she was just humbled by the whole experience and said she will always have special thanks to Hael and Iqie. "Them (Hael and Iqie); They are the best big brothers one can have. I owe Hael so much too. For having me sing his compositions are indeed a big honour for me," said Nadeera. "And 'Meriah Lain Macam' is just a big wow. During the event, both Hael and Nadeera even had more reasons to celebrate. Both released a special version 'Diam' and 'Bukan Lagi Kita' their super top hits from 2024. The special versions was available from Thursday (May 1) in all streaming platforms. Meanwhile, music label Rocketfuel also had other reasons to celebrate. Their other Raya song 'Nyam Nyam Ketupat' was another big hitter and has returned impressive numbers too. The song which had the combo of Zizan Razak, Wani Kayrie, Dinda Dania dan Miss Alvy, had a combination of cheeky and happy lyrics that won over many fans. It also had more than 8 millions hit in YouTube was No.3 in the list of 'Most Streamed Malay Singles In Malaysia' list. Even Olympic badminton champion and top star shuttler Vivtor Axelsen used the song as his background in one of his TikTok postings. In an official press statement, Rocketfuel promised that they will continue to offer the best of music that the country can offer as they seek to further improve their compositions.
