The Eagles Sphere residency picks up in September. How much are tickets?

In July 2023, The Eagles announced that they were embarking on a multi-year farewell run where they'd play venues all over North America. 'Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed,' the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers shared in a statement, two summers ago. 'But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle.' Advertisement Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Vince Gill, Deacon Frey, Timothy B. Schmit and co. proceeded to play arenas all over the US up until February 2024. Shortly after, they broke the news that they were conducting a Las Vegas Sphere residency. 13 months and 32 shows (!) later, the '70s hitmakers may actually be approaching the end of the 'Long Goodbye.' At the time of publication, they have 12 more concerts scheduled from September through October 2025…and then that's it. As of now, there's nothing else in the books. Advertisement Thankfully, if you want to see the 'Hotel California' band live, tickets are available for all remaining Sin City gigs. Based on our findings, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $377 including fees on Vivid Seats for their Halloween show. Other concerts have seats starting anywhere from $393 to $465 including fees. Yes, we know that's expensive. However, it's hard to put a price on seeing a bucket list group like The Eagles live. Not only do they throw an out and out hit parade — 'One Of These Nights,' 'Lyin' Eyes,' 'Take It To The Limit,' New Kid In Town' and 'Life In The Fast Lane' is just a taste of what you'll get at their live show — but Sphere also provides a hair-raising optical spectacle. Advertisement 'The way the Sphere screen truly envelops the stage allows the crowd to be transported both musically and visually, and the Eagles' show took a journey from under the sea to above the clouds (with some terrestrial stops in between),' Billboard raved in a review of a September 2024 concert. 'Some of the most stunning visual displays included a couple's gorgeous underwater choreography for 'The Boys of Summer'; a towering cityscape growing over the crowd before collapsing down into the ground for 'In the City; and a bus driving all the way into the cosmos and into a meteor shower for 'Take It to the Limit.'' Sound like the bucket list show of the century for you? For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about The Eagles' Las Vegas Sphere residency below. 'Heartache Tonight' The Eagles band members When you've been 'taking it to the limit' since 1971, there's bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group. Still, after 50+ years together, 78-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the '80s smash 'Boys of Summer), continues to head the group. Advertisement At all Sphere dates, he's joined by 77-year-old Joe Walsh (who also fronted The James Gang), 77-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey's 30-something son, Deacon. Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed away in 2016) and Randy Meisner (died in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn't played with the band since 2016. As for guitarist Don Felder, he tours with Styx and REO Speedwagon's Kevin Cronin, although The Post reported he suffered a medical emergency at a show earlier this year. Over the course of the group's half-century together, The Eagles have received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums. American Idol Just Made Some Major Cuts, And I'm Not Surprised To Hear Carrie Underwood Had A Tougher Time With It

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. When American Idol airs live Sunday on the 2025 TV schedule, we'll kick off the finals of its 23rd season, with the Top 14 taking the stage to honor the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. It was not an easy road to pare the 144 contestants who made it past auditions down to just 14, and it sounds like Katy Perry's replacement, Carrie Underwood, may have struggled more than her counterparts when it came to sending artists home. On the April 21 episode — which included a huge Ryan Seacrest gaffe that might have already had Carrie Underwood upset — the field was cut from 20 singers down to 14. Fan votes determined the first 10, then Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan were tasked with picking the last four. That meant crushing six artists' dreams all at once, which the Season 4 champion said was nearly too much for her. Underwood told USA TODAY: My brain was almost like: 'Six! I can't do it!' We were pretty much aligned; there were a couple of concessions that had to be made, but all in all I think we're happy with how it turned out, other than six people had to go home, which is a huge jump. Coming back to American Idol as a judge 20 years after she won the show has been quite the nostalgia kick for Carrie Underwood, and you have to imagine she's recalling how it felt for her fate to be in the hands of the three people on the other side of that table. It's absolutely no surprise that she would find this first big elimination tough, especially on live TV. While she appeared to downplay the drama, saying they were 'pretty much aligned,' and ultimately happy with the singers they chose to move forward, Lionel Richie painted a slightly more hectic picture of the decision that had to be made in the time of one commercial break. He said: The 2½ minutes was: 'Come on, Carrie. Give us the answer.' (Underwood said) 'I don't want any of them to leave!' 'Carrie, we've got a minute left. What is the answer?' This is her first time around, and she's on this side of the judges' table. Luke Bryan agreed that quick decisions had to be (and were) made. He said there were two contestants who they all agreed on to advance, but choosing the other two out of the eight remaining hopefuls proved to be pretty difficult. In the end, considering their "whole body of work" up to that point in the show, Josh King, Ché Chesterman, Desmond Roberts and Amanda Barise got the judges' nods. The six less-fortunate singers included Baylee Littrell (son of Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell) and Zaylie Windsor, who Carrie Underwood had compared to Taylor Swift during her audition. I'm sure the eliminations aren't going to get easier from here on out, but we'll have to see how Carrie Underwood handles it all. The finals kick off at 8 p.m. ET April 27 and continue Monday, April 28, on ABC and streaming the next day on Hulu.

The Browns bring in Journey for a concert before the start of the NFL draft

CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Browns took a Journey to the first night of the NFL draft. As if having a top-five pick didn't create enough interest, the Browns decided to reward their season ticket holders by bringing in Journey for a concert at Huntington Bank Field before the picks began. Brent Rossi, the Browns' chief marketing officer, said the talks about doing something beyond the usual draft party began at the end of last season, when the Browns finished 3-14 and secured their 14th top-10 draft pick since returning in 1999. In a third-party survey, the Browns found the top three rock bands by season ticket holders to be Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and Journey. Since there's no hope for another Zeppelin reunion and the Stones played in Cleveland last year, the option ended up being Journey. 'When you have a chance to marry one of the NFL's tentpole events with a band like Journey, it was a no-brainer for us in something that we wanted to do for season ticket members, especially showing so much loyalty over the last decades and last year when the product on the field didn't live up to expectations,' Rossi said. It's not the first time an NFL team has tried to bring in a big act for the draft. The Los Angeles Chargers had Snoop Dogg at SoFi Stadium in 2022 during the first round. Season ticket holders received free tickets equaling the number of seats in their account. The Browns said final attendance was 25,081. Fans were tailgating in the parking lots before the concert started. Cleveland also had a first-round pick for the first time since 2021. They sent three first-round selections to Houston in the Deshaun Watson trade and signed him to a massive contract in what is on pace to become one of the worst trades in NFL history. Journey came on at 6:45 p.m. and was expected to play for 90 minutes, finishing their set right before the Browns were supposed to go on the clock with the second-overall pick. Cleveland, however, made a trade with Jacksonville and moved down three spots to fifth along with adding picks in the second and fourth rounds and the Jaguars' first-round selection in 2026. It took only three songs for the 2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees to play what could be the theme tune for all the teams this weekend and a franchise that has had only four winning seasons since 1999 — 'Don't Stop Believing.' The Browns have tied into the city's rock heritage in recent seasons, including a guitarist in the Dawg Pound bleacher section during games. Last year, the team honored the Rock Hall's Class of 2024 during a game. Foreigner, who was inducted that weekend, performed at halftime. ___ AP NFL:
