Amazon slashes price of robot vacuum with thousands of five-star reviews
Shoppers who snap up this deal can say goodbye to dragging a heavy vacuum around the house
At the end of a long work week, housework isn't an appealing prospect. However, new tech is making it a whole lot easier - and shoppers are taking notice of new advancements for home maintenance.
Robot vacuum cleaners are one of the gadgets that have become popular, but they can be quite expensive. Those in the market for an automated vacuum are in luck, as they can get the eufy L60 Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £269.99 down from £349.99 on Amazon - a 23% saving.
Dealing with tangled hair in vacuum rollers is one of those little chores nobody enjoys, and that's where the detangling tech with the eufy vacuum comes in - it cuts through hair that wraps around the roller brush, meaning shoppers don't have to pull it out by hand anymore.
Another great feature is the self-emptying base. It uses powerful suction to pull dirt and dust into a 2.5-litre bag, which means buyers can go up to two months without emptying it themselves. Shoppers just get to let it do its thing and forget about any daily clean-ups. With 5,000 Pa of suction power, it doesn't mess around. Another option could be the Living and Home Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £165.88 at Debenhams, which comes in a cute baby pink colour and can be controlled by mobile app, remote control, or a switch on the top.
The eufy L60 has a high 4.4 out of 5 star rating from a total of 1,975 reviews on Amazon. One shopper wrote: 'One of the best things I've ever bought!'
Another person said: 'We have a very hairy German Shepherd, so I had my doubts that the L60 model would be sufficient. It works very well, making daily life a bit easier. The app works well and the hoover creates a very good map of the house. You can send it to clean everywhere or set up zones.'
Not everyone was as impressed though, with one customer writing: 'It is very noisy and the dust bin is too small.'
