Lady Gaga delivers chilling warning as she makes her Wednesday debut in new season two trailer

A familiar face is making her Wednesday debut. Lady Gaga delivers a chilling warning in the latest trailer for the second part of season two of the hit Netflix series. Gaga, 39, doesn't physically appear in the new sneak peek but her voice ominously ends the trailer, seemingly cautioning Wednesday (Jenna Ortega, 22) about the consequences of her actions. 'Beware - there will be a price to pay,' Gaga whispers in a haunting tone. Gaga is set to play Rosaline Rotwood, a 'legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday,' the streamer previously revealed. The new trailer begins with Wednesday awakening at a hospital and meeting her spirit guide, the late Principal Weems (Gwendoline Christie). 'Principal Weems!?' a perplexed Wednesday says before Weems offers her a sponge bath. 'What kind of hell is this?' she continues. 'This isn't hell Miss Adams. But I understand the confusion,' she informs Wednesday. 'If I'm not dead, then why are you here?' Wednesday asks. 'Because I am your new spirit guide,' she tells Wednesday. 'Surprise!' Meanwhile, Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan) is still on the loose - and is targeting Wednesday and Enid (Emma Myers). 'I'm going to fix it,' Wednesday tells Enid. 'Fix it!? You're the reason he escaped!' Enid replies. 'She's got a point,' Wednesday's new spirit guide says, earning a rebuke from her mentee. 'Stay out of this!' Wednesday replies back sharply. 'Who are you talking to?' Enid asks. 'No one,' Wednesday responds sternly. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman also return as Wednesday's parents, Morticia and Gomez Addams, respectively. 'Every family has dark chapters, Wednesday,' Morticia informs her daughter. 'If there's ever a time to unburden yourself with the truth, now is it,' Wednesday says, seemingly in reference to her parents. The second part of season two will debut on September 3. Netflix officially announced Gaga's season two cameo during the Tudum 2025 live event back in May. The pop singer lit up the Kia Forum with an 8-minute medley of hits, including her latest single Abracadabra, all in honor of the streamer's smash series Wednesday. Emerging from a coffin marked 'Here Lies the Mother Queen,' Gaga leaned all the way into the spooky aesthetic, surrounded by dancers channeling the Addams Family. She even busted out the viral dance from Season 1, originally performed by the show's lead Jenna Ortega to The Cramps' Goo Goo Muck — which famously went viral when it was mashed up with Gaga's own track Bloody Mary. And in a full-circle moment that brought the house down, Gaga welcomed Ortega herself to the stage. Netflix posted on their X account: 'Welcome to Nevermore, Mother Monster.' They added: 'Lady Gaga will guest star in Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 as Rosaline Rotwood — a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.' The streaming giant revealed the pop icon shot her role in a single day while filming on location in Ireland. Her casting was first leaked back in November. The role of Wednesday Addams in the film adaptations was previously made iconic by Christina Ricci.

Lady Gaga's Wednesday season 2 character could have vital role in new theory

Lady Gaga has been cast in Netflix series Wednesday season 2, but is yet to make an appearance WARNING: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS. Wednesday Addams, portrayed by Jenna Ortega, had quite a tumultuous journey in the first four episodes of season two that were released on Netflix this week. ‌ She was not only troubled by her latest psychic vision predicting the death of her best friend Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers), but she also lost her psychic powers. This left her to unravel the identity of her stalker and a serial killer using traditional methods. ‌ Luckily, with the assistance of her mates and some new faces, she managed to solve the mystery - but something was missing, reports the Express. It's no secret that Lady Gaga has been cast as Rosaline Rotwood in the new series, but she hasn't shown up yet, leaving fans curious about her role. ‌ READ MORE: Wednesday's Pugsley star Isaac Ordonez's life as he opens up on 'unexpected' success A fresh theory suggests that she might assist Wednesday in regaining her psychic powers and guide her in her mission to save Enid. Wednesday told her mum Morticia (Catherine Zeta Jones) that she no longer had a spirit guide for support. ‌ With Goody from the first series no longer present, Wednesday was left to interpret her psychic visions on her own. Lady Gaga's character is described as a mysterious figure, a legendary Nevermore teacher who encounters Wednesday. Rosaline Rotwood could potentially become Wednesday's spirit guide in the second part of the series. ‌ With only four episodes remaining, there isn't much time left for Wednesday to regain her psychic powers. ‌ Deadline revealed that Lady Gaga's cameo role was filmed in just one day, suggesting that if she appears as a ghost, her scenes could have been shot separately from the rest of the cast. Rosaline might pop up at different points in the last four episodes to provide Wednesday with bits of wisdom and advice. Viewers will have to hold their breath until 3 September when the second part is released to discover Lady Gaga's character in the series. Wednesday season 2 part 1 is available on Netflix, with part 2 set to be released on 3 September.

Lady Gaga's new song for Netflix series Wednesday samples one of her greatest hits

Lady Gaga 's forthcoming single in support of season two of the Netflix series Wednesday will borrow from one of her biggest hits. The 39-year-old pop star will have a small role in the imminent installment of the show, and last year she recorded an accompanying musical component — a track called Dead Dance. A source shared with The Sun that the tune samples Gaga's hit Abracadabra, off her latest album Mayhem, which she is currently touring. 'It has already been a massive year for Gaga but she's never been one to rest on her laurels. Dead Dance is all ready to go and fans will love it. 'It's another classic dark pop tune and while it's been made for Wednesday, it perfectly fits into the world of Mayhem,' the insider revealed. According to the publication, one lyric the music artist sings in Dead Dance is: 'When you killed me inside, that's when I came alive.' Per the site, Dead Dance already has a choreographed dance routine that Wednesday producers hope will go viral on social media. Wednesday season two is hitting the streamer in two parts, one of which debuts on August 6, and the other on September 3. An official music video, along with the song, will be released in September when Gaga appears in the show as Rosaline Rotwood, a 'legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday,' Variety reported. The singer-songwriter flew to Mexico to shoot the visualizer with Wednesday director Tim Burton. Gaga and Tim reportedly traveled to the 'haunted' Island of the Dolls in Xochimilco, which is south of Mexico City, to film the video. 'Security was ridiculously tight, with even the mayor's office and police helping keep everything under wraps,' The Sun reported on Tuesday. It was confirmed last November that the New York-bred songstress, born Stefani Germanotta, was added to the season two cast. She filmed scenes in Ireland at the time, with details of her role being kept under wraps. Sources told Variety last year that Gaga's role will be a cameo, despite the production team's efforts to give her a more significant role. Wednesday premiered on Netflix in late 2022, with it quickly becoming a fan favorite. Lady Gaga even participated in the show's viral TikTok dance, which revived her 2011 song Bloody Mary. Then, at the 2023 Golden Globes, Ortega dished to Variety that she hoped Gaga would join the show's second season. 'I'm sure Netflix would love that,' the You star shared.

Lady Gaga just did the viral Wednesday dance ahead of season 2

PSA! Lady Gaga just did the viral Wednesday dance and we are DEAD. Last night, the pop icon took to the stage at the Netflix Tudum event (where she stole the show, btw), the streaming platform's biggest celebration of fandom. As we all know, Lady Gaga is set to make an appearance in season 2 of Wednesday, so it only made sense that her performance paid homage to the show. For those unaware, she will appear as Rosaline Rotwood, a Nevermore teacher, who crosses paths with Jenna Ortega's Wednesday. But back to the performance now, and the singer had the audience in an absolute chokehold from the start. The show began with her emerging from a red velvet coffin before performing 'Abracadabra,' 'Zombieboy,' and 'Bloody Mary' - a trio of pretty fitting songs if you ask us. However, it was the moment when she re-enacted Jenna's (who also made a dramatic cameo, pulling up a chair at the top of a gothic designed table) iconic season 1 dance that made people scream, cry, and throw up. Alongside an army of dancers dressed like Wednesday Addams, plus her butler Lurch and the disembodied hand Thing, Lady Gaga got into character and dramatically put her own spin on the routine. Of course, fans have now taken to social media to obsess over the pop culture moment that will go down in history. In a video posted on X of the entire performance, one fan said: "This feels like the super bowl halloween special omg," while another said: "I DID NOT EXPECT THIS TO BE SERVED LIKE THAT." "Art 10/10," another penned, as a fourth echoed: "buffet style, no crumbs, ate the plates, slayed so hard." OK, Wednesday season 2 cannot come quick enough.
