Dubai RTA offers free parking and extended metro, bus services for Eid Al Adha 2025
Image: X/RTA Dubai As Dubai prepares for Eid Al Adha 2025, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced adjusted schedules and free parking to accommodate residents and visitors during the holiday. The changes apply from Wednesday, June 4, to Sunday, June 8, 2025, with some services resuming normal operations on Monday, June 9. Free parking across Dubai Public parking in Dubai will be free of charge from June 5 to June 8, the RTA confirmed on Monday, aligning with the Eid Al Adha celebrations. However, multi-level parking terminals will continue to be paid services during the holiday. Public transport timings Dubai Metro The Dubai Metro will operate on extended hours during the holiday period. From Wednesday, June 4 to Saturday, June 7, all stations on both the Red and Green Lines will run from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day). Dubai Tram Dubai Tram services will operate from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day) across the same dates — June 4 to June 7. Dubai Bus While regular schedules will continue, RTA advised residents to check the S'hail app for the latest timings. Key changes to intercity bus routes include: Route E100 (Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Abu Dhabi) will not operate from June 4 to June 8. Commuters are advised to use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi instead. Route E102 will operate directly from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, bypassing both Ibn Battuta and Musaffah. Customer Happiness Centres and testing services All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed throughout the Eid holiday. However, the Smart Customer Happiness Centres at the following locations will remain open 24/7: Umm Ramool Deira Al Barsha RTA Head Office Service Provider and Technical Testing Centres All service provider centres will be closed from June 5 to June 7. On Sunday, June 8, only technical testing services will resume at the following centres: Tasjeel Al-Tawar AutoPro Al-Mankhool Tasjeel Al-Awir Al Yalayis Shamil Muhaisnah Full services, including transaction processing and vehicle testing, will resume across all centres on Monday, June 9, 2025.

Public Parking to Be Free in Dubai During Eid Al-Adha
Dubai's RTA has updated metro, tram, and parking schedules for Eid Al Adha. From June 4–7, Metro will run from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Tram from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Jun 03, 2025 Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced revised transit schedules and parking arrangements to accommodate the Eid Al Adha holiday period. From June 4 to June 7, Dubai Metro stations on both the Red and Green lines will operate extended hours, running daily from 5 a.m. until 1 a.m. During the same period, the Dubai Tram service will be available from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. In addition, drivers can benefit from free parking in all public parking areas—excluding multistorey car parks—between June 5 and June 8. This coincides with the official Eid holiday, during which employees across both public and private sectors will be on leave, with work resuming on Monday, June 9. In terms of bus services, Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi will be suspended from June 4 until June 8. Commuters are advised to use Route E101, which will continue to operate normally between Ibn Battuta Bus Station and Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, Route E102 will be altered to run directly from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Zayed International Airport, skipping the Ibn Battuta and Musaffah stops. The RTA encourages all commuters to download the S'hail app for the latest updates and schedules throughout the Eid holiday, ensuring smooth and hassle-free travel during the festive season.

Service provider centres, including technical testing facilities, will be shut from 5th to 7th June. Limited testing services will resume on 8th June at select locations, with all services returning to normal on 9th June. Dubai Metro will run from 5:00 am to 1:00 am (next day) on both the Red and Green lines from 4th to 7th June. The Dubai Tram will operate during the same dates from 6:00 am to 1:00 am. For public buses, riders are advised to check the S'hail app for updated schedules. Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi will be suspended from 4th to 8th June. Dubai public transport timings for Eid Al Fitr
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the working hours for all its services during the Eid Al Fitr holiday for the year 1446H /2025, which will run from Saturday, March 29 to Tuesday, April 2. Regular working hours will resume on Wednesday, April 3. The affected services include Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport, and vehicle testing centres (technical inspection). Vehicle testing centres will be closed from 1 to 3 Shawwal, with regular operations resuming on 4 Shawwal. Customer Happiness Centres will also remain closed during the same period, while Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and RTA Headquarters will continue to operate 24/7 as usual. Metro and Tram: Dubai Metro's Red and Green Line stations will operate as follows: on Saturday, 29 March, from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day); on Sunday, 30 March, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day); and from Monday to Wednesday, 31 March to 2 April, from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day). Public Parking: All public parking will be free of charge during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, except for multi-level parking terminals.
