Raffles Sentosa Celebrates Grand Opening in Lavish Style
Raffles Sentosa Singapore, the city's first all-villa luxury resort, celebrated its grand opening with a spectacular event hosted by The Royal Group, drawing over 500 distinguished guests from business, hospitality, and diplomatic circles. Nestled across 100,000 sq. m. of tropical greenery, the event offered a full immersion into the elegance, gastronomy, and culture the resort represents.
The evening began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a guided journey through the property, which includes five culinary destinations, scenic gardens, and world-class event venues.
Culinary Showcase Highlights:
At Royal China , guests enjoyed signature Peking Duck and premium pork dishes.
IYASAKA by Hashida served firefly squid and caviar on buckwheat tacos—true omakase artistry.
At Empire Grill, 48 chefs crafted an elevated canapé menu over 26 hours, resulting in 6,850 canapés served with champagne and Sentosa Slings.
The Raffles Ballroom, accommodating up to 600 guests, hosted the main event with live performances from soprano Seia Lee, jazz singer Alemay Fernandez, and Erhu soloist Calista Liaw. Guests also explored the resort's grand ballrooms, adorned with bespoke Lasvit chandeliers inspired by Singapore's orchids.
With villas starting at 211 sqm—each with private pools—the resort redefines privacy and personalized luxury.
To mark the occasion, Raffles Sentosa unveiled its 'Welcome Home' experience, a special stay package featuring:
