Meghan Markle 'engineered' her whole wedding to Prince Harry to 'work in her favour'
Reports have surfaced claiming that the late Queen had her 'doubts' about Meghan Markle and now a royal expert has shed light on what he believes was the Duchess of Sussex's plan from day one. One of the closest confidants of the late Queen Elizabeth has reportedly claimed that the former monarch had long-standing doubts regarding the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. The late Queen is said to have been very keen on Meghan at the start of her and Prince Harry's relationship, and the couple have never spoken about the former monarch in anything other than positive terms. The Duke of Sussex was very close with his grandmother, and Meghan has also spoken on how high she held the Queen after the kindness she showed her when she first joined the Royal Family, the Mirror reports. However Lady Elizabeth Anson, one of the late Queen's cousins and close confidant reportedly revealed to an author and journalist, Sally Bedell Smith that even in the run up to Harry and Meghan's wedding doubts started to form in the heads of royals about the bride-to-be. It has been reported that the Duke of Sussex had been rude to the late Queen while discussing the wedding and the former Queen's confidant claims that whilst there was "hope" in royal circles that Meghan was "in love" with Harry, they didn't "quite think" it to be true, adding, "We think she engineered it all." Speaking to The Sun's Royal Exclusive Show, a royal expert biographer Phil Dampier has said in his opinion these claims are trustworthy due to how close Lady Elizabeth was with her cousin Queen Elizabeth. The expert added that in his opinion, this showed that Meghan was using the Royal Family as a "stepping stone" to bigger and better things. He also doesn't believe that she ever intended to stay in the UK permanently as a working royal. He stated: "I think, unfortunately, that confirms what I've been saying or thought for the last few years that, sadly, Meghan never really had any intention of staying in the Royal Family." "She saw [it] as a stepping stone getting married to Harry... to new fame and fortune." "And I think that's what initially Prince William was concerned about. And that's why they fell out. And now we are where we are. But to have this confirmed by somebody so close to the Queen is, is is really dynamite." Meghan and Harry have both spoken out about the fact they really tried to make life inside the monarchy work. When they first announced they wanted to step back as full-time working royals in early 2020, they didn't want to make a full break instead they hoped to represent the crown on a part-time basis. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to continue supporting the Queen, where possible, whilst making their own money. However, the senior royals and their aides deemed the part time working model to be unworkable, and fully cut ties from the Sussexes. As well as stripping them of their royal patronages, Harry's honorary military positions, and their 'HRH' styles. After Harry's prolonged battle with the Home Office regarding the removal of his automatic police security whilst in the UK, he made it very clear that he doesn't feel safe bringing his wife and two young children to the UK without it. Journalist and author Omid Scobie revealed in his biography Endgame that the Duchess of Sussex "never really felt at home" in the UK, and that after everything that has gone on she "never wants to step foot in England again".

Meghan 'had bold marriage plan and William saw right through it,' says expert
After reports surfaced claiming the late Queen long had 'doubts' about Meghan Markle, a royal expert has shed fresh light on what he believes was the Duchess of Sussex's plan from day one One of the closest confidants of the late Queen Elizabeth has reportedly claimed that the former monarch had serious and long-standing doubts about Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. The late Queen is said to have been very keen on Meghan when she and Harry first got serious, and both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have never spoken about the former monarch in anything other than glowing terms. Harry was always very close with his grandmother, and Meghan has also spoken repeatedly about the high esteem she held the Queen in and the kindness she showed her when she joined the Royal Family. However, one of the late Queen's cousins - Lady Elizabeth Anson - who was also a close friend of the former monarch, reportedly revealed to Sally Bedell Smith, an author and journalist, that even in the run up to Harry and Meghan's wedding, doubts began to rear their head in royal circles about the bride-to-be. The Duke of Sussex was alleged to have been rude to the late Queen in a 10 minute discussion about the wedding, and the former monarch's confidant claims that whilst there was "hope" in royal circles that Meghan was "in love" with Harry, they didn't "quite think" it to be true, adding, "We think she engineered it all." A royal expert, biographer Phil Dampier, has now told The Sun's Royal Exclusive Show that in his view, these claims are trustworthy because of how close Lady Elizabeth, who died in 2020, was with Queen Elizabeth. The expert added that, in his opinion, this showed that Meghan was using the Royal Family as a "stepping stone" to bigger and brighter things, and that he doesn't believe she ever intended to remain in the UK permanently as a working royal. "I think, unfortunately, that confirms what I've been saying or thought for the last few years that, sadly, Meghan never really had any intention of staying in the Royal Family," the expert said. "She saw [it] as a stepping stone getting married to Harry... to new fame and fortune. "And I think that's what initially Prince William was concerned about. And that's why they fell out. And now we are where we are. But to have this confirmed by somebody so close to the Queen is, is is really dynamite." Meghan and Harry have both said however that they really tried to make life inside the monarchy work, and that when they announced they wanted to step back as full-time working royals in early 2020, they didn't want to make a full break - instead representing the crown on a part-time basis, and still supporting the Queen where possible, whilst making their own money. However, the senior royals and their aides deemed this half-in-half-out model to be unworkable, and made a full break from the Sussexes, stripping them of their royal patronages, Harry's honorary military positions, and their 'HRH' styles. After a protracted battle with the Home Office over the removal of his automatic police security whilst in his home country, Harry has made it clear that he doesn't feel safe bringing his wife and two children to the UK without it. However, journalist and author Omid Scobie revealed in his book Endgame that Meghan "never really felt at home" in the UK, and that after everything that has gone on, she "never wants to step foot in England again".

You're NOT a typical working mum, Meghan – you've got a nanny & it's so grating when you whine, expert slams
MEGHAN Markle has been slammed by a royal expert for whining about being a typical working mum despite having a nanny. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, admitted in April she had an "amazing" nanny who had helped her look after Prince Archie, aged six, and Princess Lilibet, aged three, for the past five years. 3 Meghan Markle has been slammed for 'overusing' examples of the difficulties of being a mum, despite having a nanny 3 The Duchess of Sussex admitted in April she had an 'amazing' nanny who had helped out the family for the past five years Credit: YouTube 3 Meghan said previously her life of 'juggling' working and being a mum was 'incredibly overwhelming' Credit: Instagram/meghan However, an expert has slammed the mum-of-two for "going on and on" about her life as a working mum, despite her "great privilege" giving her access to helpful resources that much of the rest of the world "cannot afford". Speaking on The Sun's Royal Exclusive Show, Royal Correspondent Bronte Coy said she was "frustrated" by Meghan for "overusing" the examples of her motherly responsibilities. The expert explained: "I have a son, but when I hear people from positions of great privilege - where they can afford nannies and a lot of help - go on and on and on about the working mum thing, it's not the same. "Yes, it's time away from your kid - I definitely understand that aspect - but it's not the same as the working mum idea that a lot of the rest of the world has to deal with. "And so she really leaned into that a lot, and I think, well, is this a struggle that you have a lot?" Bronte added: "You do have help. And also you are at home a lot." "I find that a little bit grating." Meghan had admitted in an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show in April that her nanny would step in to help take her children to school. Her admission came just weeks after the Duchess of Sussex said she felt the "juggling" of working and being a mum was "incredibly overwhelming", adding: "Oh my gosh, I just need a break." Adding to Bronte's points, broadcaster and writer Esther Krakue said Meghan was trying "to be this thing that she's clearly not", in relation to her "influencer" status. There's nothing much left of 'erratic' Harry in terms of a man, he's just watching Meghan crack on Esther explained: "I don't even want to feel like we're beating down on everything she does - I genuinely wish her all the success. "But I feel sad that she feels the need to be this thing that she's clearly not. She's not a chemist. She's not a physicist." "But that's fine - sometimes it's OK to just be pretty and to have good fortune in life and to ride that wave." In response, Bronte added that she felt Meghan would be best suited to returning to her lifestyle space, which "she clearly loves." The expert added: "I think that she, I was always hopeful when she leaned into the lifestyle space, clearly she loves that. "I thought maybe we're going to see a more relaxed, casual, real Meghan - I really had hoped that would work - I thought that was going to be a good idea for her. "I have been disappointed by the output, however. "I think it's just not quite landed for a lot of people, particularly now the show is wrapped up." This comes as the Duchess of Sussex's Netflix cooking show was slammed by an expert for not "being entertaining or informative". Esther Krakue questioned the point of the eight-part series With Love, Meghan, which saw the duchess hosting celeb pals such as Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer. The Netflix series saw Meghan making guest baskets, beeswax candles, and a single skillet spaghetti, filmed at a farmhouse near her £12million Montecito mansion. Esther shared: 'There's nothing there. 'She's very, like - I'm not saying this to be horrible - she is not an entertainer or an entertaining person. 'There's not much personality there. 'I never learn anything from her. I love lifestyle shows. I watch them every day. I don't learn anything. I didn't learn anything from hers. And she's just not entertaining. 'She's not a fun person to be around. 'You don't think this is the person I want to go to the pub with to have a pint with. 'It's very clear that she is not box office in terms of entertainment quality.'
