Unhappy about his inadequate response to actor Nani's congratulatory tweet on winning the Telangana state government's Gaddar Telangana Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film Saripoda Sanivaram, actor SJ Suryah on Saturday tendered an apology to actor Nani. On Saturday, SJ Suryah took to his X timeline and penned a heartfelt note of gratitude that also contained an apology. He wrote, 'Dear Natural Star @NameisNani sir … sorry in between the shoot I tweeted so it was not a proper tweet. 'Just thank you sir" won't be enough for sure …. without you and director Vivek sir support from shoot to this tweet that output not possible…. You are not only a hero on screen, even off screen too. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, starring Nani and S J Suryah in the lead, was an action-thriller that emerged a huge blockbuster, becoming one of the highest-grossing films of the year. The film helmed by 'Ante Sundaraniki' fame director Vivek Athreya also featured Priyanka Mohan, Abhirami, Aditi Balan, P Sai Kumar, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Murali Sharma, and Ajay Ghosh in crucial roles. The film revolved around a man named Surya who fights injustices on Saturday and later, ends up clashing with a corrupt police officer named Daya. Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 Out On OTT; When And Where To Watch Vikram's New Film
Last Updated: Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 boasts a talented bunch of stars including Vikram, SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Dushara Vijayan. Amid much anticipation, Vikram 's Tamil action thriller Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 has finally made its way to OTT. Directed by SU Arun Kumar, the film is currently streaming on Prime Video. It is available in five languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The action-packed drama boasts a talented bunch of stars including SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan and Prudhvi Raj. Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 made its digital debut less than a month after its theatrical release. The makers stepped in with the announcement of its arrival on OTT last week. On Friday, April 18, the official page of Prime Video, dropped a post on Instagram. It featured the film's poster, attached to a side note that read, 'One night. No rules. Only survival. A night that will change everything." A doting father and husband, the protagonist tries to escape the world of crime but a deadly task takes him back to where he left off. What follows next is a tale of bloodshed, betrayal and raw emotion. Interestingly, the makers also announced the movie's prequel, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 1, which is yet to go on floors. The news left many wondering about the title and the director was also quizzed about the same at the audio launch of the film in March this year. Replying, director SU Arun Kumar, revealed, 'It was Vikram's idea. When I first narrated the script to him, I told him that we could make a sequel to this film, and it was a continuation. And he told me to call it a second part, as it would be an apt title. So, he was the reason behind the title." Veera Dheera Sooran faced legal trouble before its release as production company B4U had approached the Delhi High Court due to a contractual dispute with HR Pictures, who bankrolled the Vikram-starrer. Tamil actor Karthi is all set to entertain his fans once again with Sardar 2, where he will be seen reprising the role of an Indian spy. The movie, which will hit theatres later this year, has now released a prologue in Hindi. Sardar 2 will be released in five languages - Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. The movie is a sequel to the 2022 espionage thriller Sardar and features Karthi locking horns with SJ Suryah. The Ponniyin Selvan actor is expected to have a dual role in the film as Sardar and his son Inspector Vijay Prakash. The Tamil teaser was released on March 31. With the prologue being released in Hindi now, it seems that the makers are going all out to promote the actioner. The film will be directed by PS Mithran, who also helmed Sardar.
