SJ Suryah, an actor and filmmaker, celebrated his 57th birthday this Sunday and to make the day more special, several first looks from his new films were unveiled. Apart from this, many of his industry colleagues wished him on the occasion. Wishing SJ Suryah, Vignesh Shivan recalled his time as a junior artist in the latter's film Anbe Aaruyire. Vignesh went on to say that he is grateful to have SJ Suryah as a friend.

On SJ Suryah's birthday, the first look posters for the film Killer were also revealed. While two separate posters have been released, one depicts SJ Suryah in a fashionable outfit with a revolver in hand. In another image, he is pictured carrying Preeti Asrani over his shoulder while clutching a revolver in the other hand. SJ Suryah unveiled posters and wrote, 'EN ANBUM AARUYIRUMAANA Fans & Friends Presenting U the #KillerFirstLook as My Birthday gift to all of U, Tomorrow Morning all of U keep me in your prayers and I will keep U all in my prayers as always sjs."

SJ Suryah is not only starring in the film Killer, but also directing it with his screenplay and dialogue. Suryah's comeback to filmmaking follows 2015's Isai. It reunites him with composer AR Rahman after several collaborations, including 2005's Anbe Aaruyire. Killer is defined as a pan-Indian thriller that combines action, comedy, and romance. Sree Gokulam Movies is producing the film, which marks the company's debut in Tamil cinema, in collaboration with Suryah's Angel Studios.

The Oscar-winning musician recently performed in Washington as part of his Wonderment Tour, a clip from which surfaced online. During the concert, at the Tacoma Dome, the cameraperson zoomed in on the lens over the crowd. Soon, AR Rahman could be heard saying, 'I won't get you in trouble. Don't worry.'
