VISAKHAPATNAM : The Indian Coast Guard Eastern Seaboard successfully conducted the 8th edition of Subordinate Officers' Conclave at Headquarters, Coast Guard Eastern Seaboard, Visakhapatnam on Aug 12 and 13 (through virtual mode). The Inaugural address was delivered by Director General S Paramesh, Director General Indian Coast Guard. The conclave served as a dynamic platform for Subordinate Officers from various units to engage in meaningful discussions on Operational Challenges, Professional Development, Welfare measures, and Innovative Practices to enhance efficiency in Maritime Operations. The theme of this year's conclave, 'Samagamam – Confluence of Ideas,' underscored the importance of Collaboration, Leadership, and Adaptability in fulfilling the service's mandate of safeguarding the Nation's Maritime Interests. Senior Officers addressed the gathering, highlighting the crucial role Subordinate Officers play in Operational Readiness and Unit Cohesion. Indian delegation visits Maritime Security Centre
Muscat - A delegation from the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) of the Republic of India today visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC). The visiting delegation is headed by Vice Admiral S Paramesh, Director General of the Indian Coast Guard. Upon their arrival at the Centre, they were greeted by the Acting Head of the MSC. Members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the centre in the safety of the Omani maritime environment.
