93 ST students lauded in Gumla
Gumla: Deputy commissioner Prerna Dixit felicitated 93 students from ST communities, who secured above 80% in X and XII board examinations, on International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples.
Tribal heroes such as Birsa Munda, Albert Ekka and Telanga Khadia were also honoured on the occasion.
DC Dixit said, "No matter how the situation is, one should not quit studies. Life is full of struggle but only those who possess courage to come out of it, win."
She also distributed 56 bicycles among 17 girls and 39 boys of the SS +2 School.
