Sabah Council of Datuks steps up social impact

Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Council of Datuks (MDNS) has intensified its humanitarian efforts to assist underprivileged communities across the State. Its President Datuk Claudius Roman said aid has been distributed to several districts and rural areas, including Tuaran, Beaufort, Inanam, Papar, Keningau, Paitan and Beluran. 'The MDNS is actively assisting those in need, particularly flood and fire victims. 'We provide essential items such as wheelchairs, beds, mattresses and other necessities for the less fortunate,' he said. The MDNS also leverages the professional expertise of its members, with medical practitioners among them offering healthcare services to beneficiaries. Claudius said this to the media after a courtesy visit on Head of State Tun Musa Aman at the Istana Seri Kinabalu on Tuesday. The visit aimed to brief the governor on the organisation's ongoing activities and plans. The delegation included Deputy President II Datuk Abdul Kadir M.E.
