Married At First Sight star shares health update from her hospital bed after undergoing major surgery
Married At First Sight's Sacha Jones has shared a health update from her hospital bed on Instagram on Thursday after getting a nose job. The TV personality, 29, was left devastated on the show when her TV husband Ross McCarthy left her just two weeks after she moved to Manchester to be with him. Sharing a candid picture on her Stories, she showed off her bruised and swollen face after undergoing surgery. Alongside the post, she penned: 'If you gueseed (sic) nose, you guessed correct'. In separate post, Sacha uploaded a clip which saw her thanking her followers for all their kind messages. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. She said: 'Guys thank you for all your DMs. I actually didn't expect to get any messages about this. 'I'm shocked about how everybody is interested. I'm at my hotel now. Little bit sore. I've been given all my medication and stuff like that. 'I have just been sleeping non stop. I will get back to you all eventually. She's just a little bit achy right now. Love you'. After Sacha's time on the show, MailOnline revealed that she was left heartbroken after husband Ross dumped her within days of the series ending. Ross told Sacha he had fallen in love with her following their TV wedding on the E4 show with the couple's marriage going from strength to strength during filming. Despite the former Miss Birmingham uprooting her life by moving from her hometown Walsall to Manchester in commitment to her marriage, Ross abruptly ended the relationship with little explanation. To make matters worse, Ross, who was the first deaf contestant to appear on the dating programme, went public on Instagram with his new girlfriend, to the shock of both Sacha and E4 producers. A TV source told MailOnline show bosses lambasted the father-of-one for his unkind behaviour in protection of Sacha, who believed their marriage would be long-lasting. An insider said: 'Sacha had an incredible experience filming Married At First Sight UK and she truly thought her marriage with Ross would work. 'She moved to Manchester to be with him but after just two weeks he went cold and ended their romance for good. 'Sacha was devastated and now watching their journey back as the show airs makes processing their breakup even harder. 'Producers weren't happy either… Ross gave away that he and Sacha were no longer together by posting photos with his new girlfriend – he had no problem flaunting his romance despite the fact it would hurt his ex-wife's feelings.' Sacha and Ross married after meeting for the first time at the altar and their bond was quickly established. The painter and decorator was patient with Sacha who told him on their wedding day she is celibate, opting to sleep on the sofa. He even won over Sacha's father by going to a gym session with the bodybuilder, which was significant given the close relationship she shares with her family. After moving into the show's apartment together, Sacha purchased a sign language book to learn more about how to communicate with Ross, who was born deaf and wears two hearing aids.

MAFS star posts from hospital bed amid recovery after huge surgery
A former Married at First Sight cast member has announced that she had surgery in Turkey earlier this week, with reality TV star Sacha Jones sharing the news with fans A former Married at First Sight cast member has revealed that she had surgery this week. The reality TV star is now recovering in hospital following the procedure, with her having shared a selfie on social media since the operation. Sacha Jones, 30 - who was a bride on MAFS UK last year - had announced on Instagram that she would be heading to Turkey. She's since shared with her followers that she had surgery on her nose after arriving in the country days ago. The content creator had kept fans updated on her trip and recently asked them to guess what she was "having done" at Phoenix aesthetics clinic. In an update yesterday, she confirmed that she had opted to have rhinoplasty. Sacha announced the procedure alongside a selfie that showed her lying in a hospital bed. As a follow-up to her previous post, she wrote in the caption of the photo yesterday afternoon: "If you guessed nose, you guessed correct." The photo showed Sacha's nose bandaged up and supported as she lay in bed following the rhinoplasty. The reality TV star, who sported a striped grey top, was seen propped up by pillows as she recovered from the recent procedure. It comes after Sacha teased the trip abroad in previous posts on the platform ahead of the procedure at the clinic. She had suggested to her followers that she would be out in Turkey for seven days in one of her video messages. Sacha shared in the video that she had forgotten that she's an "intense heavy packer". Suggesting that she was struggling to pack everything into one bag, she teased in the clip: "Seven days worth of clothes with all my toiletries as well." Later, in another video, she said it would be her first time abroad on her own. Sacha went on to tease that she could end up spending the "whole time" crying whilst recovering from the procedure, which she had yet to announce then. In the message, she said at the time: "This is my first every solo trip. This is the first time being abroad on my own. So that'll be interesting. But I'm such a baby, I'll probably just be like crying the whole time I'm there in bed anyway." After arriving at her destination, Sacha shared a selfie of herself in a bathroom mirror ahead of the procedure. She wrote in a caption that accompanied the photo: "Op day!!!!" The clinic responded: "Let the nose aesthetics journey begin!" The surgery is the latest update in Sacha's life following her rise to fame on the ninth season of MAFS UK, which aired on E4 last year. She was among the brides on the show and remained a cast member through the entire season. She 'married' Ross McCarthy on the show and the former couple agreed to stay together at the final decision ceremony as the season came to a close. They however have since parted ways and are no longer in a relationship.

Married At First Sight star shares hospital photo as she reveals she's had a nose job after split from groom
A MARRIED At First Sight star has revealed she's had a nose job after posting a picture from her hospital bed. The E4 personality, 29, has opted for cosmetic surgery months after viewers saw her partnership falter on-screen. 5 5 5 Sacha Jones showcased a snap in a blue hospital gown and white medical stockings to her Instagram Stories. She was seen stretched out on the bed and the Married At First Sight 2024 bride added a poll box to ask her followers: "What do you think I'm having done? (If you don't know already.)" Sascha, who was married to dad-of-one Ross on the matchmaking show, then showed an image of her face and nose taped up after the surgery. She went make-up free and left her blonde hair loose as she posed propped up on her pillows. In her caption she added: "If you guessed nose, you guessed correct." The star has been sharing more about her life after her marriage breakdown played out on-screen. Sacha married Ross at the start of MAFS' 2024 series when sparks flew and everything seemed perfect between the pair. The couple then went from strength to strength in their marriage, with them dubbed as one of the strongest couples early on in the programme. Yet cracks began to show and Ross' temper began to flare as they hit a series of bumps in the road. Sacha was keen to move to Manchester to be with Ross, with her even open to leaving her life in Birmingham behind. Yet fans then witnessed the blonde beauty break down on-screen after her renewal vows with Ross, before the dad of one dumped her Her eventual split with Manchester-based Ross then came two weeks after filming wrapped. DIVINE INTERVENTION The Walsall lass then turned to Christianity following her failed MAFS experience. Sacha then stunned fans as she joked she had married again back in January. Mafs couples that have stood the test of time Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby. The pair couldn't keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam's Doncaster home. Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau. Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December. Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: 'I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out - and excited for everything to come.' Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019. Owen recalled: 'I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work. "While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in. 'The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, 'Wouldn't it be funny if I signed up?' 'A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.' Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson. Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna's vegan lifestyle, the show's first same sex pairing are still going strong. They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod. Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: "We're not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship." Yet all was not as it seemed, with the aesthetics practitioner stating she had: "Married our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." Flashing a silver band, she added: "Now guys this is a purity ring and I just wanted to explain that to you. "A purity ring just represents your commitment to God and vowing to stay abstinent until marriage. "They're on your hand as a reminder of your vow to God if you ever get tempted." On MAFS UK, Sacha became famous for her abstinence, as she told Ross she wasn't planning to be intimate with him until their relationship was well established. 5 5

Married At First Sight star reunites with ex just 3 months after shock split
A MARRIED At First Sight UK star has reunited with his girlfriend three months after they split following the dramatic series reunion. During the latest MAFS UK reunion, it was claimed Ross McCarthy had been secretly messaging fellow show star Erica Roberts. 3 3 The Sun later revealed he'd split from his beautician girlfriend Magdalena - but it seems the couple have managed to work things out. Ross and Magda took to Instagram to share highlights from a recent romantic day out together, showing the painter and decorator topless and showing off his buff bod while they soaked up the sun. He joked: 'Out for a romantic stroll… until the bugs joined our date.' It comes after insiders told us how Ross and Madga struggled to make their relationship work previously. A source said at the time: 'Ross and Magda have gone their separate ways after failing to make their relationship work. 'He's removed all of his photos of them together from his social media, and they've both unfollowed each other.' Ross - who was paired with Sacha Jones for the most recent series of MAFS UK - skipped the explosive reunion, but that didn't stop his name cropping up. After the dramatic special aired, Sacha took to Instagram after she was accused of leaking information about an alleged fling between her Ross and Erica. In a long statement, she strongly denied that she was behind the story. "Apparently I leaked the story on Ross messaging Erica, when we was together, calling her beautiful," Sacha said. "I didn't deny it, that's true, but I wouldn't leak it. I don't care that much." Sacha described her time on the show with Ross as 'awful.' She told OK!: 'When I think of my time with Ross after the show, it's just dark. Dark. I can't think of one happy memory after the show. It was awful. The last happy memory I have is going to the first reunion together and putting on a strong front.'
