Local police said that 28 people have been arrested following the events in the city centre after 'showing aggression towards fans of the opposing team'. The force said their investigations are ongoing, warning: 'No one will escape legal responsibility and the police will react decisively and appropriately to the situation'. Sam Dean reports here. 6:29PM Chelsea out to complete the set of European trophies Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of the second of three Uefa men's finals as Chelsea face Real Betis in the Conference League. For what can only be logistical reasons, this game in Europe's tertiary club tournament comes after the Europa League final, with the Champions League final concluding the season on Saturday. Given what Manchester United and Tottenham served up last week though, tonight's contest in Wroclaw, Poland could provide greater entertainment. This is Real Betis' first European final, so it is probably a bigger occasion for the Spanish side as suggested by the respective numbers of travelling fans. Chelsea are already in next season's Champions League, so the only thing at stake is winning a very new, unstoried trophy in a competition in which they financially dwarf the opposition. Nevertheless, win tonight and Chelsea will be the first team to win the Champions League, Europa League, Cup Winners' Cup and Conference League. The Cup Winners' Cup is defunct and the Conference League the least valuable of the four, but it would still be a distinction worth having and a boast to rival fans domestically. Enzo Maresca will be up against a mentor and inspiration in Manuel Pellegrini, who first encouraged him to become a coach while playing for Malaga in 2011 and gave him his break among his staff at West Ham seven years later. Chelsea are boosted by the return of striker Nicolas Jackson, who missed the final league games of the season because of suspension. The club may well look to upgrade on Jackson in this summer's transfer market, but they are a better side with him leading the line. For English fans, the player to keep an eye on in the Betis team is Manchester United misfit Antony, who has found a new lease of life since moving to La Liga on loan. He will have his work cut out against Marc Curcurella.

Netflix Orders ‘Age Of Attraction' Dating Format From Velvet Hammer Media
EXCLUSIVE: Does age matter when it comes to dating? That's the question for Netflix's latest entry into the dating pool. The streamer has greenlit Age of Attraction, a new dating format produced by Velvet Hammer Media, the company behind The CW's The Big Bakeover and Roku's Best Bite Wins. Adams In the series, age is thrown out the window when singles search for their soulmates, per the logline. Is love truly ageless, or will the years come between them? Sam Dean, who served as showrunner on Netflix's Love Is Blind and has exec produced series including FBoy Island, and David Friedman, exec produer of Netflix's Temptation Island and showrunner of Bullsh*t: The Game Show, will serve as showrunners of the series. Velvet Hammer Media bosses Jennifer O'Connell and Rebecca Quinn will also exec produce alongside their colleague Nick Alarcon, who has worked on series including Velvet Hammer's Empty Nest Refresh, will serve as co-EP. O'Connell and Quinn launched Velvet Hammer in 2023 after they previously oversaw unscripted content at the then titled HBO Max. Endeavor invested in the business later that year and they struck a deal with Issa Rae's Hoorae to produce unscripted content last year. The company is also in development with projects at Hulu, NBC and Amazon. Age Of Attraction comes as other shows realize the value of older contestants appearing on dating shows. ABC revealed earlier this week that season ten of Bachelor in Paradise will feature contestants from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette for the first time, while Netflix also recently launched docuseries The Later Daters, which features singletons in the 50s, 60s and 70s and is exec produced by Michelle Obama 'At VHM we live to create formats that feel fresh, bold, and binge-worthy.
