Egg Bowl 2025 date: Ole Miss, Mississippi State football to play on Black Friday

The 2025 Egg Bowl between Mississippi State football and Ole Miss will be played on Black Friday again, according to announcements by both programs. Kickoff at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Nov. 28. The TV channel has not yet been announced. Advertisement It will be the second season in a row that the Rebels and Bulldogs will play the Egg Bowl on Black Friday instead of Thanksgiving. The 2025 game was originally slated for Saturday when the SEC schedules were released on Dec. 11, but it was likely going to move to Thanksgiving or Black Friday. Ole Miss won the 2024 Egg Bowl 26-14 in Oxford. It will be the 98th Egg Bowl between Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Ole Miss leads the all-time series 60-30-5. Mississippi State basketball hosting home game on Black Friday MSU also announced it will be hosting a basketball home game against SMU at Humphrey Coliseum on Black Friday.
