Kyle Sandilands' chauffeur reveals shock missing body part after $1million Rolls-Royce crashed into him: 'It's totally gone'
Kyle Sandilands ' driver has provided an update on his condition after a car accident left him with horrific injuries. George Plassaras, 52, was involved in a collision with a $1million Rolls-Royce in Sydney 's Rose Bay at 3.30am on Saturday. The crash left Plassaras with a broken spine, broken ribs, a ruptured spleen and diaphragm, a torn open abdomen, two broken hips and two broken femurs. Speaking from the ICU on Wednesday's Kyle & Jackie O show, George revealed that he has a lengthy road to recovery. 'I've got no right hip. It's totally gone,' Plassaras told hosts Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I've just been laying flat since Saturday, since the accident.' Plassaras, who has known Sandilands for a decade, mentioned that he will need hip surgery on his driving leg, which will keep him off the road for some time. He will also have to undergo a second operation on his knee. The driver added that doctors will have to wait until his hip operation to ascertain the extent of the damage to his spine. 'I've basically got no hip. After the operation, I can't legally drive for six weeks,' Plassaras continued. 'After the hip [surgery], I've got to do my right knee, they've got to check my X-ray for my spine, once I do my hip. 'There's a long list of injuries.' Plassaras also seemed mildly disappointed that Sandilands had not visited him in the hospital, telling his employer: 'You sent Bruno [Bouchet, Kyle's manager]. I thought there was a chance you were going to come.' When Sandilands added that he called Plassaras via FaceTime, co-host Henderson asked: 'What were you doing that was so important?' Ever the faithful employee, Plassaras replied: 'Whatever he does is important. You've just got to run with whatever he does.' When Sandilands and Henderson pressed Plassaras for more details of the accident, much of the on-air conversation was censored due to upcoming court proceedings. Plassaras did reveal, however, that he was more concerned with how the incident would affect his employer. 'The Police Rescue were laughing because I'm like, "I've got to check my phone to see when I'm driving Kyle again",' he said. 'You can't buy that loyalty!' Sandilands proudly replied. It comes after Sandilands' manager, Bruno Bouchet, provided an update on the radio star's driver on Tuesday. Bouchet told Daily Mail Australia that Plassaras woke up from a coma on Sunday night and only recalls 'pulling out of his street and then being cut out of his van' by a heroic rescue team. 'Despite his condition, he still has a great sense of humour and was making jokes about how badly his friend's NRL team was going this season,' he added. The young woman who was behind the wheel of the Rolls-Royce 4WD while allegedly drunk is the owner of a second Rolls-Royce – a white Ghost convertible – which is parked in the garage of her luxury penthouse apartment. LanLan Yang crashed her $1 million Rolls-Royce Cullinan into the Mercedes van being driven by Plassaras on New South Head Road. NSW Police allege the 23-year-old Yang veered onto the wrong side of the road, having watched CCTV footage of the collision. Plassaras, who runs Dakota Limousines, was trapped in the wreckage while bystanders called triple zero. He could be heard yelling for help inside the crushed vehicle, as emergency crews from NSW Police Rescue and Fire and Rescue NSW worked to free him. Police say Yang returned a positive result in a roadside breath test, and she was arrested at the scene. At Waverley Police Station, she allegedly refused to undergo a breath analysis. Yang was charged with causing bodily harm by misconduct while in charge of a motor vehicle, and refusing or failing to submit to a breath analysis. She was granted conditional bail and ordered to surrender her passport. Under the strict conditions, she has been prohibited from driving a car and must remain at her Waverley mansion between 8pm and 6am daily. Yang is scheduled to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on August 15.

‘What a lunatic': Jackie O admits to controversial bathroom act
Jackie 'O' Henderson has revealed she's very much guilty of 'bathroom camping', a phenomenon Gen Z is obsessed with. You might think going to the bathroom at a social event, lingering in the toilet and doing some doom scrolling on your phone doesn't have a name, but you'd be wrong. Gen Z loves to come up with names for everything, and in 2025, that is now called 'bathroom camping'. To be clear bathroom camping can also be something you do in your own home for comfort or if you're just desperate for privacy. Henderson explained on The Kylie and Jackie O Show that she does get 'overwhelmed' at social functions and takes solace in the loo. 'It becomes – when there's too many people I don't know, I get a bit overwhelmed,' she explained. The radio star's co-host, Sandilands, seemed genuinely puzzled by the idea of hanging out in a bathroom. 'So what? Are you worried about them looking at you?' he asked. 'No. It is a brain drain, like sometimes it becomes very draining for me,' she explained. That didn't seem to clear up any confusion for Sandilands who continued to pepper her with questions. 'So you can't handle being around normal people?' he asked. 'I can't handle being around a large group of people where I have to small talk a lot. I hate that,' she explained. 'So that becomes a brain drain. And so what I do is I go to the bathroom and I just sit there and have time out, and I just chill.' Sandilands remained baffled. 'What fun! You'd never forget to invite Jackie to a party,' he joked. Henderson kept trying to explain, saying sometimes in social situations she just needs 'alone time' for a little recharge, but Sandilands remained dubious. 'What a lunatic,' he mused. 'I thought that too. I thought I was a lunatic, but apparently this is quite the thing,' she argued. 'It now got a name for it. People do this. I'm not alone. It's called bathroom camping.' Henderson's not wrong it certainly is a very big thing. The phrase 'bathroom camping' has garnered over 10 million views on TikTok. People online are also divided on the act with a lot of people arguing it is 'rude' to do when you're out in public. 'Bathroom camping in public is crazy and inconsiderate,' one noted. 'I'm embarrassed by how selfish people from my generation are,' another said. 'Bathroom camping outside your house is so rude if there's one bathroom,' someone mused. On the other hand, others argue that it is perfectly okay to take time for yourself when you need to. 'Such a relatable concept! Sometimes, we all need a little escape to recharge and gather our thought,' one argued. 'It is one place we don't get bothered,' someone else pointed out. 'I used to lie on the bathroom floor for hours. It felt so peaceful and calming for some odd reasons,' another shared. 'People think I'm crazy but I swear any bathroom is my safe space,' someone else noted.

Kyle and Jackie O told to ‘engage their brains' over mushroom case
Sydney-based shock jocks Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O could face possible contempt charges for comments made on their radio program during Erin Patterson's murder trial. The outspoken duo may have gone too far while giving their own early verdicts on Patterson in the weeks before she was convicted of three counts of murder, venturing into discussions that may have touched on material declared off-limits while the trial was still underway. 'Did she do it or what?,' Sandilands asked live on air on June 16 before his co-host rushed to chime in: 'Yeah, like, what does the evidence point to? My question is, how strong is her case?' Sandilands responded: 'Not strong.' The KIIS breakfast radio presenters then discussed evidence from the prosecution about mobile phone tower records potentially placing Patterson in Loch and Outtrim in South Gippsland, two sites where death cap mushrooms had been spotted. 'Picking mushrooms,' Sandilands said, before asking: 'Hasn't she done something like this before, with the mushrooms?' Loading Media and others commenting on trials are prevented from publishing information that may prejudice the hearing under sub judice contempt laws, which continue to see career and inexperienced legal scribes walking a tightrope while reporting on Patterson's murder trial. But with his radio program already on the nose with Victorian audiences, some of Sandilands' June 16 remarks about Patterson's trial appear to have tripped him up with Supreme Court Justice Christopher Beale.
