Saptak Talwar logs first top-15 finish on HotelPlanner Tour
Agency: PTI Meath (Ireland), Aug 11 (PTI) India's Saptak Talwar landed his first top-15 finish on the HotelPlanner Tour with a final round of one-under 71 at the Irish Challenge at Killeen Castle. Talwar, who has been playing on the HotelPlanner Tour this season, shot rounds of 75-70-70-71 to finish one-under for the week at the par-72 Killeen Castle course. It was his best round of the season on the Tour. Oihan Guillamoundeguy secured a three-stroke victory in the Irish Challenge. The Frenchman signed for a two under par round of 70 on the final day to reach 11 under par for the week, with Ronan Kleu from Switzerland in the second place on eight under par. Irish Challenge: Saptak Talwar tied-13th
Last Updated: Meath (Ireland), Aug 10 (PTI) Saptak Talwar fired a second straight round of 2-under 70 to move into tied-13th place and eye his first Top-10 of the season at the Irish Challenge at Killeen Castle. Jeppe Kristian Andersen will go into the final round after setting a new course record and enjoying a three-stroke lead in the process. The Dane, who started the day two shots off the lead, fired a brilliant seven under par round of 65 to reach 12 under par for the week and move three clear of Frenchman Oihan Guillamoundeguy, who occupies solo second on nine under. Talwar sign off tied 56th at Farmfoods Scottish Challenge
Agency: PTI Last Updated: Roxburghe (Scotland), Aug 4 (PTI) India's Saptak Talwar carded 71 in the final round to finish Tied-56th at the Farmfoods Scottish Challenge here. In the final round, Talwar picked up two birdies against two bogeys. His rounds of 66-72-72-71 gave him a total of 3-under for the week. Scotsman Daniel Young sealed a maiden HotelPlanner Tour title on home soil after carding one under par round of 70 to finish 19 under par for the week, one shot clear of Frenchman Julien Quesne in second. Scotland's Euan Walker finished in solo third on 16-under par, one shot clear of Englishman John Gough, who ended the week in fourth. Saptak Talwar slips to 54th on Hotel Planner Tour
Last Updated: Roxburghe (Scotland), Aug 3 (PTI) Indian golfer Saptak Talwar shot a second straight round of 1-over 72 to slip to T-54 after three rounds at the Farmfoods Scottish Challenge. Talwar, who started the week in style with a 5-under 66, added 72-72 to be 3-under for three rounds. Scotsman Daniel Young fired a 7-under 64 to take a four-stroke lead going into the final day. The Scot made nine birdies – four in the first five holes – and two bogeys to move to 18-under par for the week. Frenchman Julien Quesne, who also posted 64 to move to 14-under, is second. Saptak Talwar makes cut at Scottish Challenge

The score, put alongside his first round 66, placed him at 4-under for a tied-37. In the second round, Talwar had three birdies on the front nine but gave away all that with a bogey on the 11th and a triple on the 16th. Quim Vidal took a two-stroke lead into the weekend after signing for a six under par second round of 65 at Roxburghe. The Spaniard started the day seven-under and mixed five birdies with an eagle and a solitary bogey on day two to move to 13 under par for the week, two shots clear of Scottish duo Euan Walker and Daniel Young.
